  • Very fitting..music and images.. I just wish there weren't the pop up boxes with information on it..

  • @herasfolly I deleted them. Thanks. If you ever see a youtube vid with those, you can "disable" them by clicking the "i" next to the resolution at the bottom.

  • @ethanwc

My goodness that was quick! Thank you for the information.

Not to take away your research on the film..you did a good job.

I just felt it took away from the film and music.

  • @herasfolly I couldn't figure out how to turn off annotations, so I just deleted them. Stupid feature, anyways.

I agree with you. It's moody without, so that's how it rolls.

    Thanks for the view/comment.

  • damm this is great guys i happen to love all kind of bizarre an grotesque things ! this movie looks great

  • It's one of my favourite. It's not a great film, but it's very unsettling and unforgettable.

  • My son posted this. I first encountered "Carnival of Souls" on a TV broadcast in 1974, when I was eighteen. I caught the last ten minutes or so and for the next twenty years it was, "Where can I find a copy of that film?!?" Once seen it's never forgotten.

Another film in that category is "Right Hand of the Devil" (1963) also seen back then. I have yet to see it again.

  • Is it possible to watch this without all that text interupting?? One of the best horror movies of the sixties, well matched here with the music, but ruined by the presentation.

  • Sorry about that. Youtube's "annotations" feature can be turned off by clicking the lower right hand icon.

  • I finally foud this movie and watched, VERY creepy. It is easy to appreciate even without all of the effects of today's movies. The twist must have been the first of its kind. How do we find ore old movies like this?

  • "Freaks" (1932) Go check it out. Also, "Dead of Night" (1945). Ask if you want some others. Maybe I should do a NIN video from one of those films as well. Totally could. Hmmm...

  • "How do we find old movies like this? "

Try "Horror Hotel," another good one. And look on the IMDb for films made by Val Lewton. There's a start!

  • Very cool. I was actually looking around for music for a haunted house I'm having which is going to have a carnival themed room. This doesn't really help to that extent, but it was oddly therapeutic, yet unsettling.

  • Amazing, perfect!

  • Well thank you very much. This is the most positive set of feedbacks I've ever gotten for a video. I hope to find time to complete some more edits in the near future.

  • Woah creepy, but Awesome.

    Very nice job!!

  • Yeah, it's way creepy. Check out the movie, and watch the film "Freaks" (1932) as well.

  • Thank you for this, strangely moving rather than frightening.

  • That's what I was aiming for, and I thank you for explaining that!

  • I just finished watching COS and found a link to this video on IMDB. Excellent work!

  • i loves the imdb.

  • that was a very good one!!!

  • much oblidged for the kind words. Thank you.
