Now im not a man to judge against stats, as opposed to what i've seen them physcially do, but in my honest opinion i think Mir is going to get fucked up royally. Unless Carwin is not on his game, then it might be close, but if Carwin does what he did in his previous 11 wins, all undefeated, statistics are he will win.
Carwin has beat all 11 opponents in the first round by KO, TKO, Subs. Only ONE match of the 11 has gone over 2 minutes, and that was his debut match.
In regards to Brock and Mir, there is alot of animosity going on. Because Brock is stubborn as shit and is very competetive, chances are, he'll probably win again. He's been training nonstop since he came back from his medical issues, and without the use of drugs, was able to gain 30 pounds back to 265.
Brock, in my mind, never underestimated Mir in the first match. Brock went in very confident, but you have to keep in mind, he's never had a fight in his life other than wrestling. Brocks first match was against a man who is rumored to have the best BJJ in the UFC. Since Brock isn't very familiar with all these tricks that his opponents may pull, unfortunately, due to lack of education, which wasnt his fault, he lost the match. Because he is a quick learner that makes him one of the best ever.

Well, Brock's also got a glass chin. That is something that can't be trained. The few shots that Mir landed rocked Brock, and Brock immediatedly had to take Mir down. I think this time Mir won't hesitate to try to KO Brock. Mir's way better with his punches and strikes. A glass jaw can't be trained. Very few fighters have a good chin like Rampage.
Although it cannot be trained, resistance to damage can be increased most definitely. Much like when you take a stock fighter, and just get him to kick another person in the shin with their own shin, they will feel immense pain. Upon further deliberate hits with the shin, over a period of time you build up tolerance to the pain. This could be the same with Brock. Keep in mind that Brock is still a fresh fighter. Big or not, he's still fresh. He has not built up the tolerance to hits yet.
If Brock got Fedor on the ground chances are Fedor would get fucked up. As for the standing stance, it'd be a good battle. Brock can take ALOT of hits and they both have very strong punches. I'll tell you that it would be really exciting and a real close match.

I think Fedor will just armbar if Brock gets on top of him, unless he gets out of it, but not many people have escaped from that move that Fedor makes look easy. Size isn't much of an excuse, since Fedor has taken down the titans of MMA with ease (Hong man Choi, Zulu, etc.) His speed will make it interesting since Brock is one of the only other heavyweights with that speed. I just hope he doesn't lay on Fedor for an hour like most wrestlers tend to do.
Most people also don't have the muscle mass that Brock has which in turn is strength. Not only does Brock have speed, but he has super determination. Although Fedor has beaten "titans" of MMA, keep in mind that they're just very big, but not necessarily muscular. Brock on the other hand has some of the biggest arms in the business, so for Fedor to wiggle himself into an armbar submission on Brock with be a whole new challege.
It will be a challenge with Brocks size/strength definately, assuming Fedor doesn't knock him out, but I don't think lesnar is dumb enough to strike at Fedor. Mark Coleman is pretty buff, and Fedor armbarred him twice, so I don't know how much strength will help there (im referring to the armbar Fedor loves to do from up under the guy). His speed combined with it will make it entertaining, as long as nobody fucks up in the beginning, which I pray won't happen when/if they fight.

i honestly am a Brock fan, but the reason for his success is that he needs his own weight class. Think...the heavyweight division is 205-265 wth? Frank Mir weighs around 245 and hes the biggest opponent Lesnar's fought. No 240 lb man shud be half the size of his opponenet in the octagon.

Well, brock only had 1 or 2 fights at that point... I mean, do you realize what Brock has done? He's fighting some of the best fighters in the world nd beating them... and he's only had 5 or 6 fights total... And yes, Right now, Fedor is absolutely the best! But, give Brock about 16 more months to learn submissions and strikes better, and Brock will be right up there with Fedor... a Beast! I mean, look at what Brock has already accomplished with no experience and very little training!

Fedor already IS one of the greatest fighters ever. People act as if Brock cannot be like him. It's bullshit. Everyone hates on him just because he plays too competitive in a sport where people fucking FIGHT for a living. How can you not want to be on your game. You're there to entertain, and perhaps even start controversy. In the end, Brock loves to fight. He'd probably do it for free. Bottom line, people shouldn't be ragging on him. Outside of the ring, he's a great guy, inside, he's focused.

Now im not a man to judge against stats, as opposed to what i've seen them physcially do, but in my honest opinion i think Mir is going to get fucked up royally. Unless Carwin is not on his game, then it might be close, but if Carwin does what he did in his previous 11 wins, all undefeated, statistics are he will win.

Carwin has beat all 11 opponents in the first round by KO, TKO, Subs. Only ONE match of the 11 has gone over 2 minutes, and that was his debut match.
In regards to Brock and Mir, there is alot of animosity going on. Because Brock is stubborn as shit and is very competetive, chances are, he'll probably win again. He's been training nonstop since he came back from his medical issues, and without the use of drugs, was able to gain 30 pounds back to 265.

Brock, in my mind, never underestimated Mir in the first match. Brock went in very confident, but you have to keep in mind, he's never had a fight in his life other than wrestling. Brocks first match was against a man who is rumored to have the best BJJ in the UFC. Since Brock isn't very familiar with all these tricks that his opponents may pull, unfortunately, due to lack of education, which wasnt his fault, he lost the match. Because he is a quick learner that makes him one of the best ever.

Well, Brock's also got a glass chin. That is something that can't be trained. The few shots that Mir landed rocked Brock, and Brock immediatedly had to take Mir down. I think this time Mir won't hesitate to try to KO Brock. Mir's way better with his punches and strikes. A glass jaw can't be trained. Very few fighters have a good chin like Rampage.

Although it cannot be trained, resistance to damage can be increased most definitely. Much like when you take a stock fighter, and just get him to kick another person in the shin with their own shin, they will feel immense pain. Upon further deliberate hits with the shin, over a period of time you build up tolerance to the pain. This could be the same with Brock. Keep in mind that Brock is still a fresh fighter. Big or not, he's still fresh. He has not built up the tolerance to hits yet.

I think Fedor will just armbar if Brock gets on top of him, unless he gets out of it, but not many people have escaped from that move that Fedor makes look easy. Size isn't much of an excuse, since Fedor has taken down the titans of MMA with ease (Hong man Choi, Zulu, etc.) His speed will make it interesting since Brock is one of the only other heavyweights with that speed. I just hope he doesn't lay on Fedor for an hour like most wrestlers tend to do.

Most people also don't have the muscle mass that Brock has which in turn is strength. Not only does Brock have speed, but he has super determination. Although Fedor has beaten "titans" of MMA, keep in mind that they're just very big, but not necessarily muscular. Brock on the other hand has some of the biggest arms in the business, so for Fedor to wiggle himself into an armbar submission on Brock with be a whole new challege.

It will be a challenge with Brocks size/strength definately, assuming Fedor doesn't knock him out, but I don't think lesnar is dumb enough to strike at Fedor. Mark Coleman is pretty buff, and Fedor armbarred him twice, so I don't know how much strength will help there (im referring to the armbar Fedor loves to do from up under the guy). His speed combined with it will make it entertaining, as long as nobody fucks up in the beginning, which I pray won't happen when/if they fight.
