I would support a new system which would consist of two levels of "marriages". The church level which the government does not recognize but the church does (for whatever church you belong to) and the federal level which would recognize a marriage between two citizens regardless of gender, with all the tax benefits that would come in the current system. I would support a new system which would consist of two levels of "marriages". The church level which the government does not recognize but the church does (for whatever church you belong to) and the federal level which would recognize a marriage between two citizens regardless of gender, with all the tax benefits that would come in the current system. That way the "sanctity of marriage" is intact and the debate can move out of government politics...

Obama says he will let the Bush tax cuts expire. That's an automatic tax increase on almost ALL taxpayers.
Middle class pay capital gains taxes. Obama wants to double from a low of 15 percent to almost 30 percent.
He wants to hike the dividend tax, and also promised taxes on gas and energy.

Obama says he's going to lower taxes for 95% of the people. What he doesn't tell you is he's going to reduce taxes AFTER he reverses the Bush tax cuts. So essentially, he's going to lower the taxes he raised. See how much of a snake he is? He wants you to believe he's going to lower the taxes we are paying now. I dare any average middle class person to ask him "will my taxes be lower when your president, then they are right now" - That is something he can't answer yes, because it wont happen.

also anyone getting a raise in 2009 who is not earning 106,800 will pay a proportianal
increase in their fica taxes

Obama's "spread the wealth" slogan is horrific. He's milking the fact that many libs are ignorant of business. A sole proprietorship considers "revenue" the same as "income", which is where Obama got into trouble with Joe the Plumber's question in the 1st place. He couldn't defend Goolsbee's marginal tax code because the bracket was too low and the tax rate was too high. A major corporation is not the same as a sole proprietorship. Obama knows, he just doesn't care.
