@uonlyhave1life they're just really rare and the yonly spawn deep down, but if you want to farm them make a big rooma t bedrock level fully lit (to prevent non slimes taking up the spawning because slimes spawn in any light) and then make sure to hit them with the right tool because any over kill means tehy don't split into the smaller versions. use a fist or iron shovel, there are oteher but i can't remember so go to the wiki to find out more.
