man, i hope can see a vid of yours about how to put servo on it...its guiness!!!!!
i love it!!! is it 1:10?? it looks smaller, thats cool, im playing 1:10, fairlady with underglow lights, u can check my ride out at : youtube(.)com/watch?v=G1ux_C4NeFo
But your pop up lights rilly impressed me, cool job!!!
I was doing it with utility knife (holes in body) and lexan scissors (headlights covers, cause they are too big to fit into holes).
When you'll be cutting holes for hearlihts, do it from the outside of the body, and make sure that you mark the line that'll guide the knife. Next, when having line marked, run the knife several times on it. that's how i cut the holes.
well its kinda trick because yokomo body kit comes with option of 3 positions for headlights (its option only for 180SX i think), i just used stock parts and cut some holes ;)
first some cutting off the lights housing, some glue 1 micro servo+microcontroler, and u must figure it out for yourself how to put everything together ;)
nah i feel that,i know that shyt wasnt easy....but my best car was the civic si from hpi with the custom carbon fiber front///i got a video of it running check out my video
Nice one, i'm trying to do some more advanced paintjob on 180SX, something that'll be involving both japanese flag & domo-kun. I also prepared sized (part of) engine for transparent mask. Everything woulb be fine if i wouldn't screw up body, it just cracked and i dunno why... T_T Now i have to wait for one on rcmart... T_T
Yeah. Thats where I got mine. I did my homework and couldnt find a cheaper place. Every now and then I'm back on that site and take a look at their prices, still low, but it's an old kit so prices for it have droped on other sites.
AWESOME!
