If you dig down to the base of these 100 ton stones, you will find a large , flat , base stone under them. I have a suggestion about not being able to cut without getting behind the blocks. They did know how to drill holes, perhaps learned this from nature itself. hard to explain without a drawing but how would you cut the stone inbetween two drilled holes parralel to eachother?

You should try to prove with soft material... You would then see, that it is impossible to make the structures that Incas did. In some cuts it works, but not all. For example you can not cut a indent to a stone, and there is so many of those around Peru and elsewhere.

Its one thing to cut and stack megolithic stones of a uniform size. But to cut those irregular, one of a kind shapes, with perfect accuracy would be insanely labor intensive even with modern power chisels and diamond blade saws. I actually build walls out of stone for a living, and nevermind the megolithic size and how they moved them, thats crazy by its self. @DIOSpeedDemon Yea, 7 million people pulling ropes coming from the same stone? I don't think so. You also don't explain how they managed to lift these massive stones other than using a divot. We would need some of the largest cranes in the world to lift some of these stones, and yet they managed to do this with woven rope? Weak theory. Weak video.

@iamjacobnz All of the big stones at sexy woman and other big sites have had centuries to collect dust around them with equates to 5 or 6 feet of dirt by now. If you dig down to the base of these 100 ton stones, you will find a large , flat , base stone under them. THe Incans were simple and consistent in their stone constructions from in town to high in the mountains of machu pichu. It had to be a simple method like a describe. I know I am right. RH DSD

for reference,they still today cut diamonds with diamond-dust embedded into bronze disks,wich would work on a rope aswell.Also,the thinner the rope used -less work is needed to cut.I agree that it should be tested and all that further,but,looking at my experience with cutting glass and cristalline materials for 20 years i think this method is very plausible,because it is so simple and effective and the materials needed are just up for grabs.Plus a piece of rope makes precise plotting possible.

@Eventmidnight MY FEELINGS EXACTLY. 500 YEARS AGO, with the tools and items on hand, for these builders , this is the only way they could have FITTED their giant and Other smaller stones. hi,
ive watched your videos about rock cutting with great intrest , i came upon it when i myself thought about aplying a rope to cut stone,wich is not a new technique and is still used today albeit with modern materials.
I have a suggestion about not being able to cut without getting behind the blocks. They did know how to drill holes, perhaps learned this from nature itself. hard to explain without a drawing but how would you cut the stone inbetween two drilled holes parralel to eachother?

@Eventmidnight Hello, First of all , NONE of their stone cutting lines are even or in parralell. If they were, my theory would be worthless. Secondly , if you study their walls, the small ones have four sides, a front, a back , two small sides, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, THEY HAVE AN OPEN SPACE IN THE INTERIOR OF THE WALLS THAT IS FILLED WITH DIRT AFTER CUTTING. I believe they did this way, because they need to get a rope behind the rock being fitted. My theory makes perfect sense. RH DSD

if you are so right and I am so wrong, by all means stage a small demonstration. just the tiniest cut in granite.
