Man, Sad Song was the first vocaloid song I downloaded on my ipod. Back then, when I heard it for the first time, everyone was fangasming over Miku's Melt and World is Mine, and this song had like +100 views. I remeber how I thought "screw Miku and her high pitched voice, now this is the shit'

sad song is an good description for this pile of rat shit. listen to the music it doesnt blend in very well with the vocals 100-110 is a perfect example of this. and why in the hell is there two meiko's why not just make one and make the other a totally diffrent name.thats so goddamn confusing,almost as confusing as the movie title alien.ask someone if theyve seen it before and their like "which movie with aliens are you talking about?

Actually, I agree with freckles737. Grammar is an acceptable thing to bring up. People will be more willing to listen to you if you spoke (or typed) with better grammar. And I don't know how old you are, but if you didn't know about that rule until last year, I despair for our education system.

Back to the matter of this song, the only problem with Meiko is that no one puts the effort in to making well made songs for her. That is the major problem.

@KetoHimashi Well yes, and no. Sakine Meiko is the "younger" version of Meiko. She has an annoyingly high pitched voice that really doesn't work for her, but fans seem to like her better because she's "cuter". Personally, I think she shouldn't exist. Same with Kaiko. *shivver* ugh.

@7thholyscripture While both have the somehwhat same appearances, the real truth is that Meiko's voice is more deeper, older(In software terms) and more fluent, but is very hard to use if not worked correctly. Sakine Meiko's on the other hand is more squeaky (In a squirrel voice kind of way) and is easier to use. But not as fluent as the original. To sum it up: Meiko's voice came first, and is different than Sakine Meiko's.

Because that way, we as the viewers, and listeners, have ways to manipulate and create the character and music in our own way as long as we are inspired to use the program and create. But I do think Meiko is probably the most underrated... to tell the truth, I've never listened to her songs much, but her voice is actually really pretty. I'm surprised because I'm not used to hearing her a lot.

And despite being the first Vocaloid, she still sounds really good/smooth to me.
