By the way, Nyx's not hard if you have a plan. Bring Yukari for healing, Aigis for her Orgia mode (she'll be unnefected by Night Queen), and Akihiko for Buffs. That's a really good party for that fight. Aki Mitsuru and Aigis are good

I can't get this song out of my head. I have this image of a young painter in this dark room lit with candles thinking about his lover while suffering what he has done, at the same time intensely painting an image of what he feels and at the end of the scene the next day he left without saying a word to his lover and suicides. While his lover woke up the next day with HER lover came back to the painter and see a beautiful image.....

i didnt like the battles on 1 and 2 mainly because the battle menu wasnt user friendly and it MADE u use ur personas seriously the weapons u used make crappy damage and since it made u use them it made battles soo much longer than they shoiuld have been it doesnt help that it was a game with random encounters, i never finished innocent sin cause of it i got stuck in some weird forest in a mountain close to a shrine, that forest seems endless....
The song was more uplifting in Persona 2, but in Tartarus, if played in the right block, is so saddening and bad ass if you take in the sadness of shadows being the part of the human that is the negative when it comes to a hume's ego. The plight within that ego's dismay is so... so...

You say thet the battles sucked... because it was hard for you, the storyline was very original, of course Persona 1 and 2's storylines are a little more darker than Persona 3 and 4 (i'm not saying that P3 and P4 sucked, i love them) i didn't knew Persona (or SMT) until i played P3P last year, since i'm only 16 i'm not a veteran player, but i love P1 and P2, you have to learn the origins dude.
Just one point, I'm not sure if you caught it in P3P because of it's lack of certain things, like 3d models during story moments, or anime cutscenes, but I think that it was just as dark as the first two persona games. I mean, the death of all human life due to Apathy Syndrome is overwhelmingly dark. Not that its a big deal or whatever. Just my take on it.

Actually this resembles more of Maya's Theme (Sad). Maya's original theme is much more energic (first palyed in the Innocent Sins as she enters a room and shows who's in charge there).

Ooh, I can answer this one. In Japan, they re-released the Persona 1 OST after Persona 2: Innocent Sin was announced to be in development. They included 5 songs from the upcoming game on the OST on a bonus CD (I think it may have been one of those mini-CDs?), sort of as a taste of what was to come.

Yes. "Maya's theme" is from both versions of Persona 2. Innocent Sin's is heavily J-Pop while Eternal Punishment's (the only one of the 2 in english) is more hip-hip-orchestral-ish.
Dont know if you know this, but Innocent sin is also the name of Persona 2-1 "Persona 2 Innocent sin", Tatsuya and Maya are the name of the main characters on there also. In Persona 2 Eternal Punishment, Tatsuya was nick named "The Deja vu boy".

They are really great, and they both have better storys. Also, if you got a PSP, I suggest buying the Persona 1 remake, it just came out yesterday. But, before you shell out the huge amount of cash for Persona 2, I suggest looking up videos for it, aswell as Persona 1, as the gameplay is different.
I love this series and its music. I have yet to finish Innocent Sin but hope to do so soon. Love this version of Maya's theme though, I remember choosing it quite a bit in Persona 3 when going through Tartarus. 5 stars

I always played this after beating the second boss in each stage and going up those few last floors until you reach the next barricade.

Ooh, I can answer this one. In Japan, they re-released the Persona 1 OST after Persona 2: Innocent Sin was announced to be in development. They included 5 songs from the upcoming game on the OST on a bonus CD (I think it may have been one of those mini-CDs?), sort of as a taste of what was to come.

I absolutely adore this song. :C It's beautiful, but it also makes me sad, since Persona 2 was...well, a somewhat sad game? This isn't the best Tartarus music in my opinion, but it IS gorgeous.

Wow. I recently heard Maya's theme while playing Innocent Sin and immediately went "Wait, I'VE FREAKIN' HEARD THIS", so I had to hunt it down. I can't believe it was Fuuka's Track 2 this whole damned time. What a clever reference by Atlus.

Yes. "Maya's theme" is from both versions of Persona 2. Innocent Sin's is heavily J-Pop while Eternal Punishment's (the only one of the 2 in english) is more hip-hip-orchestral-ish.

Dont know if you know this, but Innocent sin is also the name of Persona 2-1 "Persona 2 Innocent sin", Tatsuya and Maya are the name of the main characters on there also. In Persona 2 Eternal Punishment, Tatsuya was nick named "The Deja vu boy".

They are really great, and they both have better storys. Also, if you got a PSP, I suggest buying the Persona 1 remake, it just came out yesterday. But, before you shell out the huge amount of cash for Persona 2, I suggest looking up videos for it, aswell as Persona 1, as the gameplay is different.

Persona 2: Eternal Punishment was released in English, and there is a fan translation for Tsumi.
Get them! They are awesome! Totally different from 3 & 4, but awesome.

I love this series and its music. I have yet to finish Innocent Sin but hope to do so soon. Love this version of Maya's theme though, I remember choosing it quite a bit in Persona 3 when going through Tartarus. 5 stars
