Colored Pencil Art Drawings and Guitar Music

The drawings are above-average, but the shading is coarse; it must be very fine, with multiple layers of ultra-light shading. This is so common in drawings, and consistently is the one area over others that requires considerable development. The music track is actually more interesting than the drawings.

They look fine but The "subjects" are totally! a waist of time!! (time and Pencils) You need to be original that's what Art is all about. This is called technique, and anyone can learn how to draw like this, it has nothing to do with fine art or real drawing, so, for all of you who want to learn just practice and get yourself a good "light box" that's what was used for this drawings, Well, for this "colorings" And if you want to get into real Art, Avoid the Outlines!! That's for kids!

very good use of shading with the prismacolor pencils. the last portraits of Wolverine, Famke Jansen and a couple more look kind of rendered digitally, perhaps it was your intention.

I love the cars, particularly the ones where you can actually see the texture of the pencils.

They were ALL done with prismacolor art pencils. If you were to see them up close, you could see the pencil marks a little better than in this video.

Mike, I love your work. I enjoy drawing in graphite and colored pencil from photos as well. I am curious if you know how photographers copyrights relate to the drawings you or I create from them. Do you sell your drawings? Do you know if you could be sued by the photographer whose picture you were inspired from? I appreciate you help in this matter, I would like to continue my own artwork and possibly sell them, but don't want to be sued.

I really appreciate good sports art. Sports are a celebration of color in motion as much as of athletes. I admire what you do; I tried drawing a Mattingly once and it came out looking like Ringo Starr! :-o

Thanks for your invite to view your drawings. You draw from the soul man, do what you feel is art to you. I'm sure these drawings look far more impressive in real life! It's hard to appreciate when you don't understand - interpretation of hand to paper recreates, adds value makes one look twice at any image. Nice technical application, the only thing I would add is that you do have licence as an artist to loosen up your brush strokes. Other than that, what more can I say. awesome.

Did it ever occur to you that some people like photo realistic art? I for one do. While I REALLY appreciate people who can draw off the top of their head or still life or whatever, I choose to draw from photos. I am sorry my art offended you so much you felt the need to insult me. Ever think of drawing from life? Your pictures are good, but they suck in the sense that all of them look like you drew them from pictures, which i'm assuming you did. Real photorealism come from drawings from life.

The 2nd song has a satriani feel to it. the art at 48-50seconds and 2:28 have been my favorite so far. Also 2:53, the girl at 3:52 is beautiful. You have a real knack for capturing people's face, some of them almost seem like Photographs. Great work! As for the music. some awesome tunes. Check out Joe Satriani if you don't already know who he is. Also I feel your songs need a more definitive ending. But that's just me. Great tone. Rock on!
