Yep this is "Clogging", a traditional American dance. If you're thinking of Dutch wooden shoes, we call that "Clog Dancing".

I had no idea there was clogging in Australia! But I am new to all this. Anyone care to comment on the clogging scene Down Under? I'd like to know more. Conventions in Tasmania and Canberra? Is there a website to go to?

type into Google "Clogging Australia" and you'll find the Australian Clogging Association. Then click on "Class Times" to get a list of places you could learn. The next Australian Convention is in Perth in June 2009.

im a clogger too :) from esperance, w.a , esperance bay cloggers :) i went to the tasmania and canberra conventions but unfortuently i cant make it to sydney this year, hope to see you in Perth next year :)
