@e1g0nz41i70 Sesame Street is a metaphor for what the Bible states is the "simplicity that is in Christ" 2 Corinthians 11:3. In other words, it's so easy that a caveman can understand it!
@chapmaned Co-equal in nature not in function. Just like a man and woman may be one in unity but more than one in person, they are co-equal in nature but not co-equal in authority. The Trinity is just the observation of scripture. And we can clearly see that the Son in under the Father's authority just like a woman comes under the authority of her husband. (1 Cor 11:3) But this is not to say that they are still not one in flesh.
@pretoshohmoofc All well and said, however, Jesus is the ONLY BEGOTTEN of the Father, which shows that Jesus was NEVER son until Mary came along. We are known by our spirit, and the Spirit is the Father, and the Spirit of Jesus is God. The only reason that Jesus is known as Son is by birth of his earthly dirt dying mortal body. The Glory that Jesus had with the Father (Spirit) is an eternal body, meaning, Eternal Life.
@pretoshohmoofc I am not a oneness Pentecostal, but I am a oneness. Pentecostals make their women dress funny, and make people feel guilty for watching television, etc. However, Logos is defined as Spoken Word, which includes thought. I know the argument about that the Logos was "face to face", etc. But the word Logos means Spoken word, including thought. Example...if you have a concordance, look up the word "account", in Matthew 12:36. That word is LOGOS....Continued...
@chapmaned I use to be oneness as well until someone showed me scriptures that forced me to rethink my position.
As to John 1:1 the greek word "with" or pros is being used. This only is used when referring to two or more persons as in Unity and is never used to discribe one person.
As for Logos, it is quite clear that the Son is identified in the book of John as being the word (Vs 1:1,14.) as opposed to the Father and HS.
@pretoshohmoofc I disagree with the conclusion that the word "with" is in regards to two or more persons when discussing a singular God. There are two or more "things" being discussed, but not two or more "persons" being discussed. In regards to the Holy Spirit, that is known by Paul as "the MIND of Christ", not as a separate person. Yes, Jesus is Logos...but the definition is Spoken word, including thought, which means, HIS OWN WORDS are the Fathers words. If he isn't the father, then RHEMA
Of coarse you will, you have no choice. Why? Because the greek word "pros" is only used for more than one person. The only way around it is by showing me this word being used the way you understand it in scripture. Insisting on it means nothing to me. You need to prove it.
@pretoshohmoofc ...Continued...When it is said that it is your word against my word, that is Logos. Your words, which originated in your mind is Logos. My word, which originates in my mind is logos. But, if I speak your words, then that is rhema, not logos. If you speak my words, which didn't originate in your mind, that is rhema, not logos. We must give a logos (account) to God. Jesus is Logos because God's words are his own, not that of another. He is the Father. Seen Jesus, seen Father.
@chapmaned As to the logos using the Father's words, I don't dispute this. The Son came to be the revelation of the Father. But, the Son alone is being identified as being the Word in John. Not the other persons identified within the Godhead.
@pretoshohmoofc And lets not forget, Isaiah 9:6, that he is the everlasting Father, and Jesus said that there is only one Father, not two. It is straight forward, and not a slant on words, either.
@chapmaned Satan was called the "Father of lies" in John 8:44. Why? Because he was the first to do it. Jesus is being called Everlasting Father or Father of eternity because he is the originator of it. Eternity started through Christ. John 1:3.
@pretoshohmoofc Notice, however, that you used the word "of" in conjunction with the word Father. Isaiah 9:6 and John 14 identifies Jesus as Father, not Father "OF".
@pretoshohmoofc God is from eternity. Eternity has no beginning or ending, therefore, your John 1:13 is discussing eternal life...for us...not for him. He came from no beginning, no ending. You can't start something that has no beginning.
@chapmaned Yes God is from eternity but God is still the only one to be from eternity. No one else can make such a claim. So God is the Father of it. Eternity originated with him. Eternity discribes him and he discribes eternity.
@pretoshohmoofc And Jesus is God, therefore Jesus has no beginning. The only beginning is what is in "time", and time is in the universe, not outside the universe. Jesus has no beginning. He is the Father.
@chapmaned Again, it is true that Jesus is God and God is eternal but the author of John still uses the greek word "pros" or "with". You would have to show me this word being used in your context that they are the same person.
@pretoshohmoofc I am non-denomination. If you belong to a denomination, someone else already decided for you, and then you are "required" to conform to what someone else already decided, or else. In a non-denomination, the preacher reports, and we decide! We decide by "search the scriptures daily to see if those things are so", AND "study to show thyself approved". I don't take the word of someone else (rhema). I study the Logos of God, the Bible, non-denominationally.
@chapmaned Even though I myself am a part of a denomination, I know that others can be Christians without being involved in one. My sister is one example. But I do support the idea of accountability. And denominations are good for this. As for "someone else deciding for me, I don't have a problem with this either. Eph 4:11-16.
@pretoshohmoofc I agree with you on the denomination issue. I do have a huge problem with Catholicism, however. Huge. I am debating one now, and wowowowow...very strange.
@pretoshohmoofc Your example is out of whack, I hate to say. Comparing Apples with Oranges, which lots of doctrines attempt to do. I don't know how you equate "authority" with John 1:1. Trinity is simply, SPIRIT/SOUL/BODY. John 4:24 states that God is a spirit. Jesus is "THE BODY OF CHRIST". There is ONE spirit and ONE Body. Those TWO are ONE PERSON. The Father resided IN the Body of Christ. James 2:26 states that without your spirit in your body, you are dead....Continued...
@chapmaned The Trinity is not SPIRIT/SOUL/BODY. The Trinity is closer to the idea of Time.
Time is made up of Past, Present and Future. Past is not the same thing as Present and Present is not the same thing as future, but all make up one thing, ...Time.
Example:
In the beginning was Past, and Past was with Time, and Past is Time.
@chapmaned I am going to send you a personal message. Why I'm going to do this is because it is too long to type out here on youtube. In this I will lay out how you cannot be right. If I send it, will you read it?
@chapmaned Question how can a man and his wife be one flesh and yet she comes under the authority of him? This can be compared to the Body of Christ, we as the Body of christ are all equal in the nature of the body (we are one body (1 Cor 12) but within it, there are pastors, leaders, etc.. which take on a lead postion over the Body. Different roles, of teachers, prophets, etc..
Christ said to the Father in John 17:11 "they shall be one JUST AS WE ARE.." 1 Cor 11:3 also discribes the same.
SPIRIT AND SOUL AND BODY is ONE PERSON, not three persons. WE are known by our body...we are known by our spirit...we are known by our soul. Jesus is the Body of the Father. The Father is the Spirit of the Son. I do not believe in the 3 persons theory. I believe that I have the sufficient scriptures to back up my LOGOS. THE GLORY THAT JESUS HAD WITH THE FATHER IS AN ETERNAL BODY, but God had a carnal dying body on earth...NO GLORY IN THAT.
At the time that Jesus prayed to the Father, which by the way was "IN HEAVEN", as well as being "IN" the BODY OF CHRIST, Jesus had a body made of dirt, which means that he had a mortal body that dies. The GLORY that Jesus had with the Father is AN ETERNAL BODY, aka "ETERNAL LIFE". As for us, FOR ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD. LIFE REQUIRES A BODY. Without a body, we are dead. We have a living God, which means that we have a God with a Body. TRINITY IS SPIRIT/SOUL/BODY.
Continued...John 10:30...James White states the word "we" in regards to "I and the Father "are" one. But what he fails to do is to define the Greek word "one". It is defined as "a numeral". Well...LETS EXPOUND on that. The word "ONE" as a NUMERAL, is defined as "A SINGLE UNIT"....
So, the Conclusion therefore is, Jesus is the Father, because Jesus is THE BODY OF CHRIST and HIS SPIRIT is the Father, and his mind is the Holy Spirit. We have the MIND OF CHRIST...
The word LOGOS is not quite right here. Logos means "SPOKEN WORD". If I were to say, "It is your word against my word", that is LOGOS in both instances. Any thing that comes out of your mouth that originated in your mind only, that is LOGOS. What God Spoke is HIS WORD. Any thing that Jesus spoke is the LOGOS of God. This can be proven because the must give an account to God. The word ACCOUNT is LOGOS....I HAVE TO GIVE MY LOGOS TO GOD, my spoken word that originated from my soul alone.
If I have a body, so does God. If I have a mind (soul), so does God. In all of the references that is used here, one must wonder why Isaiah 9:6 in that the Son is the EVERLASTING FATHER is not mentioned. Jesus is the ONLY one who has ever claimed that the Father was "IN" him. We don't have the Father "IN" us. We have the Holy Spirit "IN" us. We have "THE MIND OF CHRIST". That is the SOUL of Christ. In addition, I have heard before the "FACE TO FACE of John 1:1....CONTINUED...

We are told that there is ONE Body, and ONE SPIRIT. And that the Body is "The Body of Christ. James 2:26 states that unless YOUR spirit is in YOUR body, that YOU are dead. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 states SPIRIT "AND" SOUL "AND" BODY. If we are created in the image "AND" likeness of God, then God is not only a Spirit, but also a BODY and a SOUL. We should know that of the many definitions that theologians use for the word soul, in reality, it is simply the word "MIND"....CONTINUED...
I have seen many of his video's. It is clear that he teaches this from a collegiate standpoint, from which it has always been taught. Especially the use of John 17:3, John 1:1, etc. I am a ONENESS, but not a Pentecostal. No one has successfully defined what "GLORY" is that Jesus discusses in John 17 that he had with the Father. According to John 4, God is Spirit. In addition, the Holy Spirit is also Spirit. Lastly, the term/phrase "Body of Christ" has significance...Continued...
Dr White did not inform his audience that the Hebrews writer in 1.10 was citing from the Greek and not the Hebrew version of the OT. He also did not mention that the context of Heb 1.10 in 2.5 is "the world to come about which WE ARE SPEAKING". The subject is the New Creation in which the Son is involved. Isa 51.16 describes an agent, the Messiah, whom God will use to found "the new heavens/earth" of the coming Mellenium. To make Jesus the Genesis Creator contradicts the rest of scripture.
in his book White states emphatically that trinis should not break with the creedal formula of '1 What in 3 Whos', yet in his summary he goes on to break with this rule when he says Jesus IS YHWH, i.e., '1 YHWH in 3 YHWHs=1 What in 3 Whats'. Furthermore, shouldn't trinis talk about "they, them, we, us" when referring to the triune God of the Bible? Instead of "He, His, I" etc.
@kyzersoze74, if plural pronouns are used in reference to God, that indicates polytheism, which isn't the trinitarian position, and trinitarians are monotheists.
Since when is YHWH a "what?" YHWH is the personal name of God, and so is a "who," if you will.
I'm so glad that the God of the Bible is not a "Trinity", that Jesus is only a second person with 2 others that are god also, but that Jesus is the Almighty God, Rev. 1:8.
@MrIsaac1689 Im sorry maybe you misunderstood my comment, I'm so glad the God of the Bible is not a Trinity, but this doctrine is a man made dogma.....Lord Bless.
Why isn't it one God that just so happens to reveal himself in different ways. The trinity part makes it sound polytheistic. Not saying that it is just that to others it may sound that way.
@FAITHandLOGIC Read some of the works of the early church and you'll see how that modern theory is blown out of the water. The trinity has been very blatant, since it was revealed more thoroughly in the New Testament. It became an issue around the time of Nicea because people were questioning and some denying it. Questions give a stronger clarity, but being wrong about this is a life and death issue. It's not hard to make plain, it just takes a submission to how God has revealed Himself.
@FAITHandLOGIC Ignatius of Antioch in 117 A.D in the letter to the Smyrneans is one example "1. I give glory to Jesus Christ, the God who has given you wisdom". Scripture dates before 325 and if the trinity is found in the Scripture then it is before the council of Nicea.
Jesus and his people were not Christians. They were Israelites. The Romans called them Christians becuase they followed Christ but they were really Israelites and not in the RELIGION of Christianity. Christianity was formed in 300 AD. The Most High YAH did not give us Christianity or religion he gave us Laws, statues, and commandments which Christians break.
Well for starters, you stated that Christian's worship on Sunday, which you believe is Satanic due to pagan influence. However, in Romans 14:5, Paul seems to disagree with you on the basis that a Christian has liberty to worship on any (and every) day they so choose.
If I choose to honor and worship the Lord by attending Church on Sunday - who are you to judge me in error for such an action that is between the Lord and I?
@mrgmakin: You just completely ignored the first 7 minutes. Much less the rest of the lecture. And this,
"This later spread to Egypt with Isis, Horus and Osiris."
You really need to represent things correctly. What you pointed to is tritheism. What Dr. White is talking about is 1 what and 3 who's. I would especially ask you to listen to 8:45 to 9:00. That is your comment. A trinitarian is a strict monotheist.
@mrgmakin if Trinitarianism is false then who is the Son of God? God is the Son and he is the son of God who is the Father. If There is no distinction between Son and Father but those are two names with no difference then there really is no Father OF or Son OF God.
How is God Father if he has no son, and of course a son must be distinct from a father.
How is God Son if he has no father, and of course a father must be distinct from a son.
The Scriptures are overtly clear on the truth of this.
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
to be power..
Power can't "hear". Power can't "speak". It's a personal entity no matter how you attempt to circumvent it. Theres no other option described time and time again. It's not just a matter of "he/him" you have to address honestly, but "His" actions. The power, how ever you want to look at it...is personal.
@mrgmakin Your reply didn't address anything but a words root. This is an unsatisfactory argument. "empowered" and "underpowered" have the same root. They mean nothing close to the same thing. Same thing with 90% of all words and their roots in all languages. Means nothing.
Instead of trying to give me your opinion why don't you answer how a "power" possess the couple traits I said in my first post. How is the "power" hearing me or telling me what is yet to come? How is this not a being?
Why not explain how the three Persons are One Being instead of just saying so. You see most believers think this means three distinct personalities but not so Persons are the same Virtue and Attribute which makes them the same Being. Believers think the distinction of Person is in Attribute one part of the God Head holding more power or authority or love or holiness or knowledge than the other. But this is not so, the same being of three Pesons but exact in Virtue and Atribute.
You can bring a Christion to the point of realizing God is three distinct Persons insepeperable.Yet when it comes to Christ dying say God died. Why teach trinity if your not going to teach who died.? Some say God the Father takes over after proving God is One inseperable though three distinct Persons. We must clarify who died or trinity teaching is mute. I know the argument about that the Logos was "face to face", etc. But the word Logos means Spoken word, including thought. Example...if you have a concordance, look up the word "account", in Matthew 12:36. That word is LOGOS....Continued...
chapmaned 5 months ago
@chapmaned I use to be oneness as well until someone showed me scriptures that forced me to rethink my position.
As to John 1:1 the greek word "with" or pros is being used. This only is used when referring to two or more persons as in Unity and is never used to discribe one person.
As for Logos, it is quite clear that the Son is identified in the book of John as being the word (Vs 1:1,14.) as opposed to the Father and HS.
pretoshohmoofc 5 months ago
@pretoshohmoofc I disagree with the conclusion that the word "with" is in regards to two or more persons when discussing a singular God. There are two or more "things" being discussed, but not two or more "persons" being discussed. In regards to the Holy Spirit, that is known by Paul as "the MIND of Christ", not as a separate person. Yes, Jesus is Logos...but the definition is Spoken word, including thought, which means, HIS OWN WORDS are the Fathers words. If he isn't the father, then RHEMA
chapmaned 5 months ago
@chapmaned "I disagree with the conclusion...
Of coarse you will, you have no choice. Why? Because the greek word "pros" is only used for more than one person. The only way around it is by showing me this word being used the way you understand it in scripture. Insisting on it means nothing to me. You need to prove it.
and you can't.
pretoshohmoofc 5 months ago
@pretoshohmoofc ...Continued...When it is said that it is your word against my word, that is Logos. Your words, which originated in your mind is Logos. My word, which originates in my mind is logos. But, if I speak your words, then that is rhema, not logos. If you speak my words, which didn't originate in your mind, that is rhema, not logos. We must give a logos (account) to God. Jesus is Logos because God's words are his own, not that of another. He is the Father. Seen Jesus, seen Father.
chapmaned 5 months ago
@chapmaned As to the logos using the Father's words, I don't dispute this. The Son came to be the revelation of the Father. But, the Son alone is being identified as being the Word in John. Not the other persons identified within the Godhead.
pretoshohmoofc 5 months ago
@pretoshohmoofc And lets not forget, Isaiah 9:6, that he is the everlasting Father, and Jesus said that there is only one Father, not two. It is straight forward, and not a slant on words, either.
chapmaned 5 months ago
@chapmaned Satan was called the "Father of lies" in John 8:44. Why? Because he was the first to do it. Jesus is being called Everlasting Father or Father of eternity because he is the originator of it. Eternity started through Christ. John 1:3.
pretoshohmoofc 5 months ago
@pretoshohmoofc Notice, however, that you used the word "of" in conjunction with the word Father. Isaiah 9:6 and John 14 identifies Jesus as Father, not Father "OF".
chapmaned 5 months ago
@chapmaned I can still say 'eternal father'. and this still conveys the same idea.
pretoshohmoofc 5 months ago
@pretoshohmoofc God is from eternity. Eternity has no beginning or ending, therefore, your John 1:13 is discussing eternal life...for us...not for him. He came from no beginning, no ending. You can't start something that has no beginning.
chapmaned 5 months ago
@chapmaned Yes God is from eternity but God is still the only one to be from eternity. No one else can make such a claim. So God is the Father of it. Eternity originated with him. Eternity discribes him and he discribes eternity.
pretoshohmoofc 5 months ago
@pretoshohmoofc And Jesus is God, therefore Jesus has no beginning. The only beginning is what is in "time", and time is in the universe, not outside the universe. Jesus has no beginning. He is the Father.
chapmaned 5 months ago
@chapmaned Again, it is true that Jesus is God and God is eternal but the author of John still uses the greek word "pros" or "with". You would have to show me this word being used in your context that they are the same person.
And I know that you can't.

chapmaned 5 months ago
@chapmaned No problem.
pretoshohmoofc 5 months ago
@pretoshohmoofc I am non-denomination. If you belong to a denomination, someone else already decided for you, and then you are "required" to conform to what someone else already decided, or else. In a non-denomination, the preacher reports, and we decide! We decide by "search the scriptures daily to see if those things are so", AND "study to show thyself approved". I don't take the word of someone else (rhema). I study the Logos of God, the Bible, non-denominationally.
chapmaned 5 months ago
@chapmaned Even though I myself am a part of a denomination, I know that others can be Christians without being involved in one. My sister is one example. But I do support the idea of accountability. And denominations are good for this. As for "someone else deciding for me, I don't have a problem with this either. Eph 4:11-16.
pretoshohmoofc 5 months ago
@pretoshohmoofc I agree with you on the denomination issue. I do have a huge problem with Catholicism, however. Huge. I am debating one now, and wowowowow...very strange.

@pretoshohmoofc When someone states something like, "Co-equal in nature not in function", it reminds me of the atheists use of the word "relativity".
chapmaned 5 months ago
@chapmaned No, the Trinity is divided up the same way that we were created.
Man and woman are equal by nature, but woman comes under the authority of man. Sshe is 100% man but is "pros" with man standing beside man.
So You can say,
"in the beginning was Eve, and Eve was with man, and Eve is man."
Even though she comes under him in authority, she is equal to him in Unity. "The two shall become one flesh".
A man shall love his wife like he loves his own flesh.
pretoshohmoofc 5 months ago
@pretoshohmoofc Your example is out of whack, I hate to say. Comparing Apples with Oranges, which lots of doctrines attempt to do. I don't know how you equate "authority" with John 1:1. Trinity is simply, SPIRIT/SOUL/BODY. John 4:24 states that God is a spirit. Jesus is "THE BODY OF CHRIST". There is ONE spirit and ONE Body. Those TWO are ONE PERSON. The Father resided IN the Body of Christ. James 2:26 states that without your spirit in your body, you are dead....Continued...
chapmaned 5 months ago
@chapmaned The Trinity is not SPIRIT/SOUL/BODY. The Trinity is closer to the idea of Time.
Time is made up of Past, Present and Future. Past is not the same thing as Present and Present is not the same thing as future, but all make up one thing, ...Time.
Example:
In the beginning was Past, and Past was with Time, and Past is Time.
pretoshohmoofc 5 months ago
@pretoshohmoofc The spirit of Jesus is the Father. The Body of the Father is Jesus. James 2:26. The soul of Jesus is the Holy Spirit.

pretoshohmoofc 5 months ago
@chapmaned Question how can a man and his wife be one flesh and yet she comes under the authority of him? This can be compared to the Body of Christ, we as the Body of christ are all equal in the nature of the body (we are one body (1 Cor 12) but within it, there are pastors, leaders, etc.. which take on a lead postion over the Body. Different roles, of teachers, prophets, etc..
Christ said to the Father in John 17:11 "they shall be one JUST AS WE ARE.." 1 Cor 11:3 also discribes the same.
pretoshohmoofc 5 months ago
Not once did he mention Isaiah 9:6, that the son is the EVERLASTING "FATHER". How many everlasting father's do we have? Two? Or ONE?
chapmaned 5 months ago
SPIRIT AND SOUL AND BODY is ONE PERSON, not three persons. WE are known by our body...we are known by our spirit...we are known by our soul. Jesus is the Body of the Father. The Father is the Spirit of the Son. I do not believe in the 3 persons theory. I believe that I have the sufficient scriptures to back up my LOGOS. THE GLORY THAT JESUS HAD WITH THE FATHER IS AN ETERNAL BODY, but God had a carnal dying body on earth...NO GLORY IN THAT.
chapmaned 5 months ago

AbrahamicMovement 5 months ago
in his book White states emphatically that trinis should not break with the creedal formula of '1 What in 3 Whos', yet in his summary he goes on to break with this rule when he says Jesus IS YHWH, i.e., '1 YHWH in 3 YHWHs=1 What in 3 Whats'. Furthermore, shouldn't trinis talk about "they, them, we, us" when referring to the triune God of the Bible? Instead of "He, His, I" etc.
kyzersoze74 5 months ago
@kyzersoze74, if plural pronouns are used in reference to God, that indicates polytheism, which isn't the trinitarian position, and trinitarians are monotheists.
Since when is YHWH a "what?" YHWH is the personal name of God, and so is a "who," if you will.

If the trinity is true, why was it not taught widespread until 325 AD? The council of Nicea.
FAITHandLOGIC 5 months ago
@FAITHandLOGIC Read some of the works of the early church and you'll see how that modern theory is blown out of the water. The trinity has been very blatant, since it was revealed more thoroughly in the New Testament. It became an issue around the time of Nicea because people were questioning and some denying it. Questions give a stronger clarity, but being wrong about this is a life and death issue. It's not hard to make plain, it just takes a submission to how God has revealed Himself.
Danny2Lisa 5 months ago
@FAITHandLOGIC Ignatius of Antioch in 117 A.D in the letter to the Smyrneans is one example "1. I give glory to Jesus Christ, the God who has given you wisdom". Scripture dates before 325 and if the trinity is found in the Scripture then it is before the council of Nicea.

A trinitarian is a strict monotheist.
theocratickingdom30 5 months ago
@mrgmakin if Trinitarianism is false then who is the Son of God? God is the Son and he is the son of God who is the Father. If There is no distinction between Son and Father but those are two names with no difference then there really is no Father OF or Son OF God.
How is God Father if he has no son, and of course a son must be distinct from a father.
How is God Son if he has no father, and of course a father must be distinct from a son.
The Scriptures are overtly clear on the truth of this.

Power can't "hear". Power can't "speak". It's a personal entity no matter how you attempt to circumvent it. Theres no other option described time and time again. It's not just a matter of "he/him" you have to address honestly, but "His" actions. The power, how ever you want to look at it...is personal.
