  • They are so quiet , wow I just bought some off a man and they are really skittish.

  • Wow beautiful fish , I am waiting for my 200 litre pond to get delivered today , can't wait to start setting it up , sounds small compared to what you have , but I just love the Koi.

  • wow solid black red white colors!! nice!

  • very nice koi, did u grow these kohakus, sankes and showa when they were young in your mud ponds?

  • @bekko247 - Hi, yes they were all hatched here, and grown here from birth.

    Brady

    hope to hear from you

    regards

    odie

  • bardy aren't these types fish goldfish?

  • @kwtblack2 - Hi kwtblack2, they are Koi, or Nishikigoi, Carp, and yes related to Goldfish.

    Best Wishes,

    Brady

  • very nice quality fish, can this be done in the uk? :)

  • Why are the fish moved from tub to tub?

  • @lambypie100 - Hi,.... they are moved from tubs with muddy water from the grow-out ponds into tubs with clean water so I can get a good look at them, and also to photograph them.

    Best Wishes,

    Brady

  • ahh I want to breed Koi, I like the butterfly koi to

  • could anyone give me a koi?

  • you can just pick koi up

  • Great Nishikigoi fellas

  • What a way to end a harvest!! A few beers and trurtle soup!! DELICIOUS!!

  • I can only dreaming.

  • ur cleaning ur pond arn't u thats y ur taking'em out

  • no its a harvest there not cleaningit

  • I always thought Koi need clear water ? thats not really the case in that pond in the beginning ?!

  • i love koi's i have some at my home i have a very small fish thing goin on home here oh did i tell u its in the caribbean in trinidad most people think that goldfish and koi only spawn in may but here they spawn all year when ever u want them to its cool i love how big ur koi's get in a earthen pond i only have some plastic ponds

  • koi are so beautiful.

such peaceful fish, relaxing to watch.

when i grow up, i wish to have a large indoor koi pond :)

  • he found a turtle as well. KewL

  • how old is that???? nice fish!!

  • the rason for exchanging the koi from bucket to bucket is becuz each bucket must contain a chemical such as ick away and another for stress coat and the other antibacterial cuz they came from pond DUH!!!!LOL

yeah and to get them used to the temperature

otherwise if it goes right into the farm it would just infect others and it could turn into disaster <:^(

well thanx for showing your kooi man i really love their bright color so what chemicals did you use in each buckes they are very healthy

  • very nice koi i hope you well and that was really funny, taking the turtle out of your pocket very funny good luck with the koi farm nice koi

  • these kio are beautiful.

  • Why don't they put them straight into the new pond instead of moving them from bucket to bucket? Aren't they damaging the scales of the goldfish by holding them?

  • So that they can get use to the water and environment change and less risk of stress for the fish.

  • Lol, there koi hahahah

  • because each bucket has diff meds and chemicals they need before they go into a kio pool

  • What do they do with them after they're "harvested"?

  • Go into quarantine and then either put for sale, or if tategoi held into winter and put into another mudpond for furthere growth

  • Why is he holding them up out of the water so much?

  • To show off the koi for the video

  • Oh...that was a turtle in your pocket.... I thought you were just happy to see me.

  • nice...budlight!!!

  • is there a reason for using blue containers or buckets to hold the koi's?? thats what i've noticed in all the videos i've seen.

  • in blue buckets u can see the colour contrast much more intensive...

  • what do u feed em

  • Small children!

  • that is the best koi video i have watched reallt enjoyed it

  • Oh Brady, how I envy your lifestyle!

Koi are awesome as usual. One day I'll pay you a visit and grab me one of your many suberb showa's!.
