I keep waiting for you to spit out a big stream of tobacco after that pickin. Anchoring your pinkie and/ or your ring finger will give you more power and steadiness. It's hard at first but becomes a habit after awhile.

Your out of tune, the picking is sloppy, and the tempo is fluctuating. Keep practicing, because this video was posted before enough practice.

you should put your 2 bottom fingers on the head of the banjo this helps when playing more diverse tunes

Good job...I play fiddle but am thinking of gettnig a banjo to help ree me a little from bowing...should be interesting.

my advice to you is go slower and concentrate on the finger picking,
it sounds like you're just rolling through it,
but for a beginner that's pretty good!

Yeah as you can see, this video was filmed before I learned the fine art of keeping the pinky on the banjo head. So my picking is a little sloppy.
