@CrimsonDawn98 The water is cold. Most birds seem to like cold water, but most water in the wild would probably be cold. He loves baths so much. He's funny and rubs on the tub walls too.
He is so beautiful. I am surprised his wing feathers are taking so long. It was 11 October when he had his little accident and was clipped and that is almost one year. How is his beak now? He did the tail chewing when I left too. He is a sensitive little guy. Funny, it sounds as though the other birds are imitating his whistle in the background!
I hope your move went well and that little Magnus is doing well.
@cherrystacey His beak grows out a little thicker and thicker as the months go by so I think it will be filled in all the way in about a year. He gets one or two flight feathers on the edges of his wings like in the video, and they stay until they fall out on their own. I am waiting for the rest to grow out. Maybe the medicines and/or the stress from the injury affected his feathers (if only on his wings), but I do see them coming in very very slowly. He still eats a lot of good foods
@cherrystacey Oh, yes, the little birds do imitate Magnus a little bit. Sometimes he will call them and vice versa. My son's linnie is the sweetest bird and he copies Magnus the most. He has started to do a laugh like, "Ha ha ha" in a sort of sinister way or sometimes like he's laughing at me. Funny guy. We love him so much. Thank you again.
Cute! Just wondering umm does he like colder or warmer water? My conure likes a little colder! lol
