i did that spec ops mission in veteran and all i did was camp and everyone would be coming to you one by one. ther is a corner inside the building that you were into. the corner is on the left side and it is kindv of like a safe place where you can camp and get a lot of kills. i'd recommend using the AK47 and the sniper with the thermal.

for others with problems with this one, this is my strategy:

Get a friend to help you out. One of you grab a thermal and a good gun, and the other guy grab a RPG if its there, and a good gun.

First round place the senty gun near the gas station, just randomly, and stay there for the first round.

2nd round is the round with a predator right?

Grab your sentry gun, place it to cover the back door at that house and the other one somewhere else, and place clays. Next rounds are easy after that.

Stay on the roof off Nates dinner until one guy left. Have a mate grab the sentry on that roof while u go to the bank and get the one in there. Head to the place by the gas station and place the sentrys in the window. Grab the two sentry from the gas station and the dinner set all four sentrys in the window. One person covering the front door and one person covering the back door. CAMP

Well get you sentries and put them in locations you think are ideal and when the wave with the heli dash to the sportsbar and get the sentry on the roof. There's also one in. The bank this is how I did it and it worked

put down a sentry gun in the station corner next to the hedge and road. get inside the 1st building with the thermal and another weapon. claymore the door, and pick off the enemies as they advance across the parking lot. if you get fired on, retreat into the back corner of the building. when you run out of RPGs to take out vehicles, move to the other building. you can also place the 2nd sentry insidt the 1st building facing the parking lot.

this is a easy mission put both centry guns one faceing each door and behind the counter place a claymore at the enterance and wait untill all people are gone. there will be lots of rpgs from dead people just pich them up and shoot the helecopters and car things. this is also good because the pred missles can only spot you and they will shoot there own people. ( this is in the resteraunt not the gas station ) mesage me back if it helps

me and my friend did Homeland Securty in 30 secs under IW best time :D

he took one turret and sat in the gas station, i ran into the diner next to it with the other one. Sit there, run back and forth to revive each other or to get ammo, use the M240 on the helis and semtex on the BTRs. For veteran, just be A LOT more careful lol. Also, the predator missiles take out LOADS of enemies for you, just run outside for a few secs and it'll blow shit up :D

heres my advice for the Spec Ops:

The diner you walk into, there is the counter, place both turrets behind it facing the street, and lie down between them, stand up occasionally to check the side door, but otherwise STAY DOWN. i soloed this on veteran by doing this. its easier then it sounds, and dont worry bout claymores or anything too. just grab a sniper with thermal, and any other weapon (thermal is for taking down the last stragglers).

You have to save the sentry guns !! the sentry guns only last for one level !! USe them on lv 4 and 5 , on 1,2,3 you place claymores at the doors and one thermal scoped weapon (any kind)and one like MI14 or smt like that stay in the house and camp !! ... by the way you suck!

2 people helps alot, me and my mate just got our guns, then legged it to the massive dinner at the back in the middle, used the roof, him with thermal taking out the enemy's far away and me taking down the ones close up, when the heli pop's up just jump down the hole in the roof to inside :P

all i did to win on the hardest was giving my cousin covering fire while he gets all the sentry guns tip take out everybody except for one then get ammo, weapons, claymores, and sentry guns and set them up in the front of the store your hiding in while you provide cover for them

I have done this map in my one with only 1 sentry gun.

Take a sniper with thermal and a full-automatic gun.

Go inside the Gas station shop, place the sentry that way it can see the door as a kind of backup so you dont get backraped.

Plant some random claymores (Near door works good so the dont come in easily)

And than just do your job

IF there is a btr or heli, use the RPG's to shoot the BTR if you got any rockets left shoot it on the heli, cuz u can shoot the heli down with bullets and BTR not.

get both sentry turrets, place one in the main doorway and another a bit further back in the diner facing towards the gas station. have one thermal sniper, a machine gun or assault rifle like the SCAR or M240. have one guy with some rockets for when the BMTs or BMPs what ever they are called and a guy with a machine gun to shoot down the helicopters. if you last long enough you shuld be able to do it on veteran with just two guys in a matter of time.

i've found that putting a sentry gun in the window of the gas station and on to cover the door works really well, that was you can stand behind one of the racks in the gas station and use the thermal to snipe off anyone else
