i downloaded the chickhen and did all the steps right but, when i slide to the last picture it freezes then it shuts down but it wont restart unless i power it up and when i do the chikhen files are there but it wont play any hombrew or iso :( please i nee serious help :( im dieing here :(((

if its hang for 5 seconds and it doesnt restart remove the battery and insert it again...

you have to put the content of the "PHAT" folder from the file you downloaded.

Restore your default settings

and turn off UMD Auto start and UMD Cache

go to theme, choose original and the color has to be green (the third green down).

did you download chickhen r2? make sure you only use the eggs and the tiff. restore default settings, then turn off umd cache and umd autostart. then go to the chickhen folder dont scroll just wait itll boot up 100%

Its a chance thing. Just keep going into photo until it works. If it freezes, then its failed, just restart and do it again. When it goes black and glitchy and restarts by itself, then you've got it.

hen is homebrew enabler & it stores data on RAM(volatile memory) of ur psp. so when u shut down ur psp it refreshes the RAM & hence the installed app get uninstalled.

so don't shut down ur psp by holding power button for 3 seconds. juz turn the power button to off ini one stroke don't hold it for more than 1 second. ur psp will go in standby mode. & reatins the data on its RAM...so u don't need to reinstall things

Well i still got cfw :D i used my brothers psp which was 5.03 and its a slim so i tried chickhen and after 40 tries i got it to work. Then i downloaded M33 using chickhen and that worked. Then when i tried to update it my psp bricked. but lucky for me i unbricked it by watching some tuts. Now i have cfw M33- 6 i updated it last night :D wow long comment
