I haven't seen the actual movie so forgive me if it's explained there but Hulk got even more powerful when hit by another wave of gamma radiation right? Unbeatable, even more than normal. So if beforehand Hulk was incredible now he is indestructible taking down even Silver Surfer right? So how is it that he can survive huge, massive explosions and getting sliced and diced and everything else yet they control him with the thing over his chest?

@Chris09hamann10 the obidence disc is used to torture his brain when he acts up and if he does'ent stop resiting it then it would fry his brain (though ofcourse it should be able to heal but gregy pak the writter of the comic the movei is based on overlooked that for the sake of the story)

@Pistolero3 He's definately more in control of his emotions, but the reason he appears weak is because the device on his chest restrains his powers a bit, once that gets destroyed he gets powerful again.

@MrOTK95 well in the comic book the movie is based off (actually in a fantastic four book considered the prequel) Bruce Banner(Hulk) gets hit by radiation bomb while trying to defuse it making him go hulk and berserk where he destroys las vegas (this is why they sent him away) the bomb also increased his strength and caused the hulk to enter a more stable state of mind in which he can actually think and coordinate.
