@draykil That's a Sk8kings freestyle board. The plastic tab is a skidplate, for saving your tail from skids and sometimes helping for pogos, truckstands and such.

Can't hate on the dude or old school. You have to remember, people like him are from a different time, and skateboarding was very different back then. Skateboarding's been around for almost 50 years, and in only 20 of those years have we been doing our ollies, kickflips, etc.

@skaterboys9898 from what i know about skateboarding is that back in the day is that all tricks were freestyle. when ollieing came around, people started to add the word "pop" or "ollie" in front of everything. today we still have some of these names left over like the "pop" shuv-it" and "ollie" impossible, or "ollie" kickflip (google it). so this trick is in fact a freestyle impossible not an ollie impossible.

I think it's awesome that you're a career Marine and a Freestyle skater!

I used to freestyle back in high school '90 & '91 and I had a Kevin Harris board.

Before that I had the original Mark Gonzalez board and a few Alva ones when I first started skating in '87

Also served on Active Duty in the Marine Corps for 4 years from April 1996 to April 2000 as a Construction Wireman 2513, and got out as a Corporal with an Honorable Discharge.
