  • FUCK ALL THE DISORDERS

  • hey my names amanda too and i also have s.a.d

  • The few friends I have kept over the years don't understand social anxiety. You seem to have an easy time making the videos. Making videos of my own helped me to get used to talking about the disorder. Stay strong. Peace.

  • talking and thinking about your problems causes them to expand and multiply. focus on what you WANT and the personality that you want to aqcuire. do everything you can to bombard your mind with positive, empowering information only. what we continually imagine or focus on, we become.

  • Girl, I agree with you so much! I have a youtube channel that is geared towards weight loss but I have has SAD for 8 years, even before I knew it had a name, and it has really helped me making videos and talking about it and sharing my story =) I completely understand what you are talking about girl! =)

  • im with u 100 %! even some of the coments on this video r clear examples of people not understanding

  • thiers nothing wrong with

    being antisociol or being shy

    and everyboody gets axuios '

just lighten up find the freindliest most

    nicest most coffident person you

can find and become thier best freind

cuase waether or not someone is

coffident doesnt mean they arnt lonely

try this poeple See what happens

  • You need Jesus!

  • I am an Anesthesiologist and I suffer with Social Anxiety. The worst thing is when I have to talk to parents about putting their children to sleep and I get nervous and shaky... This just developed 6 months ago and I don't know what to do. You are not alone guys and gals. Effing nervousness just kills me...

  • @matthewdds81 Stop getting nervous!

Something that might help: try being more concerned about your general air rather than the specifics of whether or not you are appearing nervous, or what they may be thinking, etc. You are an anesthesiologist. They expect you to possibly want to put the child under. Just be who you are, yet remain professional and remember they are just people with every right to be concerned about their child's treatment. "What wound heals but by degrees" Just keep at it.

  • Fuck the people, we dont live up for anybody's standers

  • want to do something but you've got no control.

  • and when i try and say something it either comes out fast and sloppy or i end up looking like a total idiot. There's been so many times where i just wish people would just get to know me and know what i'm really like and know the real me. I know i am a very socialable person and have a lot to offer but now i feel like i'm always holding back and i thought that was just normal, or convinced that it was but it's almost makes you feel like you are inside another body and you so badly

  • I just had to say somehting about this, but dammit, i relate to everything that's been said.

I am always misjudged by the way people think about me, my sister in particular always calls me "shy" and is a social butterfly, and always tells me that i need to get over it and move on and that i just think i've got all these problems in my head but doesn't understand what it's like. Besides that i've been called weird or stupid and other names because i always avoid people

  • Thank you for sharing.

  • watch?v=gC6PngiyOhE

I am actually paying for this video to be advertised by youtube, this isn't a solution, and i dont want your money, I'm just here to offer friendship as someone who has been through severe anxiety and paranoia. Please watch and maybe I can help you :)

  • very well said...I agree 100 percent that alot of cases being shy and SAD are not exactly the same thing....I think for most of us we are all yearning just to be around people who understand us and who are like us....i think that simple fact is a real big help....nice video...:)

  • I feel the same way people just don't understand

  • good video. i too have social anxiety, which has gotten in the way of making friends in the past. your brave for posting a video on this. soon, i too will post a S A D video about my experiences with it.

  • I was diagnosed with anxiety and IBS in 7th grade. I am not sure if I have social anxiety fully, but I think I do at a mild-medium level.

Sometimes I forget to say certain things when I talk to people I do not know. I feel like a robot a little bit .... :/

  • You can be shy and have social anxiety.

  • sincerely, i didn't realise it was you, and only clicked on it because the thumbnail looked very hot. completely honest!

  • I appreciate your bravery in posting these videos about your anxiety. Not only does it help you, but others can get strength from your admissions and your honesty. I can relate because I have S.A.D., and while I still struggle, I keep working at it to move forward. Congrats to you for helping others move forward. You are to be commended.

  • let me state the obvious, you are cute! just goes to show though, the misconception even if you are attractive and confident to post a web blog, you can still have insecurities. my biggest way over overcoming it is through humility, i don't care about being embarrassed because i'm just being myself.

  • I was outgoing, made sh*tloads of money, and thought I was home free. Then suddenly I was hit with depression, agoraphobia, and social anxiety. I have a wicked sense of humor, which is why I make friends so easily, but now I am a hermit. LOL

I havn't left the house for 3 months! Well once when the police came for me and took me away from the house LOL. I quit smoking, because I can;t even go to the store for cigarettes. Well I will just breathe and pray for the best. Thanks for sharing!

  • Your values are wonderful. I have watched only a few videos but in the past 6 months (according to your vid post dates) I've seen a big change in you. Confidence is much higher, more resolve, higher esteem, less modest, stronger voice.. the list goes on. Well done!!!!!!!!!!! Keep it going!!!!!!!!! You CAN do it!! Love, Trina

  • ur pretty lol

  • I know what your saying when you want to talk to someone and know what you want to say but the words don't come out. It's horrible.

  • I understand believe me. I understand. You are not the only one. I can guarantee you that.

  • u are beauty itself

  • I'm gonna differ from everybody else here...........I liked it better the other color. But its your hair so your oppinion is the one that counts. So.......what is your original color....if I may ask?

  • I hate when people think Social anxiety disorder is just lazyness

  • @MrBibi86 thats what im worried about. lately ive been worried like, " what if im just a lazy bastard who will never be succesful." its horrible.. i dnt know what to .. recently a baseball teammate asked me if i had a high functioning autism...that shot me down.. i of course said no.but i am so worriednow thats what everyone at school thinks of me..ughh. what do i do. im a senior in HS..help

  • @DesertSmeagle That dude was probably just trying to make fun of you. Next time ask that dude the same question he asked you.

  • @pimpthemhos Just trying to give some tips. When somebody asks you a question like that, repeat the question to them, if you feel they are trying to insult you.

  • Looks good amanda!.I used to get embarrassed to around people and walking past them.I still get nervous sometimes in big crowds.I like talking to people too and getting to know them.I think there is quite a few people out there with SA and panic who really want to be able to talk and meet people.People with SA long to be free to have friends and socialise freely.Cool vid!.
