This band are still on loads of playlists on US radio stations. Nothing better than slamming down some freeway in the Carolinas listening to this. Oh the memories!
Saw them in L.A. at the Forum the same year. Great show!! I was a Junior in high school, Rocked the 8-track of this all the way there...Damn those were the days.
Saw Bad Co on at least 20 times and never tire of seeing just how good they were. there was a rumour that they were serious on offering Koss the lead guitar slot.... I think it was mainly due to his Back street crawler band stuff but the boy had to stay straight!! Alas Paul Kossoff died and the Mick Ralphs was a competant guitarist but he wasn't a bona fida guitar hero , so Bad Co never rolled over Zep,,, trust me , i saw Koss before drugs and he was better than Clapton!! ............
@ShoutsWillEcho1 Yeah, now all the guys look like they are in concentration camps, prisoners of war. Or members of some skinhead dipshit org. I'll take the long hair and you will too when you don't have any.
It was this song and Can't Get Enough that sparked my interest in drumming at the age of 5 back in '75. Thank you, Bad Company! I recently heard some nosering skateboarder band called Five Finger Discount or something do this song and it's pathetic. Why bother with a Hyundai when you can have a Cadillac, baby!!!
2112? A Rush fan too, perhaps? Thanx for the vid, bruddah. I might have actually seen this on the telly as a kid. It looks right familiar! Nobody sounded like these guys. Classic, thanx again...
Oh yeah. People can say what they will about Geddy's voice, but nobody sounds like him on bass or vocals. Rush is one of my all-time faves as well, and they wouldn't sound like Rush without him. Neil is one of my guys, too!
I've never been a HUGE Dio fan, but I give credit where it's due...Ronnie was definitely a quintessential metal vocalist. He could belt it out with power. Love that first Rainbow album, too!
Yea,I didn't till 79' "The Desolation Angels Tour" here in Southern California.Bad Co & Paul Rodgers has had a major influence musically on my life.I've been lucky to seen Paul Rodgers w/ Bad Co - The Firm - Queen - Bad Co last summer 2010 and resently on 02-27-11 at The Pacific Ampitheater in Costa Mesa,California....Performing all the songs we grew up rocking our hearts out...
really man.. Bad Company never can forget their live performance at the spectrum in the 70's... still the best I've ever seen.. they're all fire signs. maybe something to do with it.
LOVE this song! Love the band!!

@truthaintpretty Admittedly, while I liked FFD's remake of the song, NOTHING...but NOTHING beats the original! Bad Company just rocked! :)
