Honda is part of my life, i wish Honda return back on 90s 80s and rebuilt some LSI VTI´s Integras NSX, those real machines. but CRZ is sexy. ;) Honda power!
This is the true underlying spirit of people who often succeed: when under pressure, focus is achieved; when under pressure, skill is sculpted; when under pressure, talent is born.
Don't forget that this company makes economy cars not because they do not know how to build F1 fast cars which they do of course but actually build cars for honest-money-making people, not rich spoiled people.
In the same way that people using stones couldn't compete with people using copper and bronze, people using oil won't be able to compete against those using hydrogen and electricity in the future. I still don't think you get it. We can't wait until the oil is gone and THEN decide to change, we have to do it now!
They really blew it by pulling out of AMA road racing this year. I sold all 3 of my Honda bikes. I have purchased 19 Honda bikes over the years, but I won't buy anymore. I saw Miguel Duhamel at the Vegas outside course last week, and the fact Honda screwed racers like him, and fans of the AMA like me has left a bad taste in my mouth. I race another series, but from now on, I'm going with Yamaha.
Karbon TV just uploaded a new episode featuring the 500HP Honda Drift element. The Drift Element is built by Honda and is drifting full course at the IRL Honda Grand Prix. Thanks
LOL Honda sold their F1 team. Then, they missed F1 2009 world championship's title and constructor's title. So ironic, They gave up their 44 year dream.
The whole Honda series is about the fact that failing and learning from those failures leads to success. In Tony Hawks case, his multiple tries (failures) eventually gave way to victory.
In what way is Honda a joke when it comes to the environment? They have been pioneers in many areas as being environmentally responsible has always been apart of their core philosophy. First it was with the Civic CVCC of the 70's, then it was the worlds first hybrid, the Insight hatch and now the FCX Clarity which is a car that could possibly change the automotive landscape and significantly lower our dependence on oil as a whole. Try not to look at if only from an auto perspective but from....
....but from a global power infrastructure perspective. Hydrogen has the potential to power everything around us as Hydrogen is the most abundant resource known to man and it's a sustainable source.
Please explain to me how hybrids overall consumer more fuel? Hydrogen is explosive and so is gasoline, so whats your point? Hydrogen is about the same price as gasoline currently. However, when the infrastructure develops further it may become cheaper. Either way hydrogen will eventually be the most used natural resource that humans consume. Think outside the box.
Honda has done it, the FCX Clarity is out. If we can step out of our political minds and start making more hydrogen fuel stations, we can greatly move towards hydrogen powered cars in the next 5-10 years
My Dream, yes, capital "D" Dream, is to work for Honda. I don't care if I'm a janitor at an R&D facility. The degree I'm working for right now will probably help my placement in the company, but I can confidently say that there is no other company I would rather work for. At Honda I know I'll feel right at home, it's my life's work. I've always been a Honda guy, always will be.
These videos show the passion this company has for everything that moves us, externally and internally.
I love Honda! Many have stated that Honda has lost its mojo and that other manufacturers have caught up. In reality that's not the case as Honda thinks on a whole different level than most auto manufacturers while having a solid and structured plan for the years ahead. Products like the FCX Clarity prove that Honda isn't just ahead of the game but sets the standards required to play the game. That said, as long as Honda keeps this culture alive Ill continue to be a fan and a customer.
I was listening to the Japanese engineer speak on the fuel cell development... Its amazing how he goes "In the next 100 years were looking toward a brighter future"
Its great to see a company that thinks like that. I believe I heard Panasonic tries to think 200 years ahead or something of that nature. Its amazing. I love it.

How did they "run out" of stones?
TehSmellulare 2 years ago
He was using the stones in the stone age as a metaphor for oil in the oil age. Can you really not put 2 and 2 together to make 4?
Xadreos 2 years ago
Yea I got that part. =P Except it's a stupid analogy because to my knowledge they never "ran out" of stones in the stone age.
The reason the stone age ended was because the poor bastards who were using stones couldn't compete with the guys using copper, bronze , iron etc.
I get the metaphor, but I'm pretty sure we're still in pretty good shape when it comes to stones, even in 2010 - Oil, on the other hand? perhaps not.
Ya dig?

Little right, more wrong. Hybrids consume more "fuel" and hydrogen is explosive and expensive.
