The Portuguese R-Line is based on the Highline version, but with a larger number of upgrades, including 18 inch wheels, body kit, rear camera, and much more.

Depending on which market the R-line is sold into depends on the specification. R-line in Europe is based on the comfortine, R-line in the UK and Ireland is based on the 'S' with a larger number of upgrades. UK versions lack the nickel window surrounds and door mouldings, they also do not have electric rear windows or clear/white bumper indicators.

As the UK version was based on the 'S' model, it comes with amber indicators and no fog lights. Fog lights are a cost option. They also have different wheels. I believe UK variants have 17" 'Monte Carlo' wheels. Both versions come with the same engine lineup I think. 1.4 & 1.8 TSi, 2.0 TDi (110 & 140ps)

R-line has sport gear, same as R36. R-line has 17'' or 18'' wheels from OMANYT, miltifunction steering wheel, sport seats and many other interior things.. Just check some VW web page ;)

it's just the comfortline with the front bodykit of r line. so easy to understand it. the wheels, the nikel in windows are all from comfortline

For your information: The R-Line exists in different versions. basicly the comfortline is the plattform for every R-line (with exterieur package). The interieur package is only available if you choose the Highline version. The alloys you see in the video are only similar to the comfortline wheels but the are 17" not 16". They even look a bit different if you take a closer look! Belive me, I have owned both of the cars and took a very close look before buying a R-line!

i have also a question. i have noticed that the r line has different front lights than the orther versions. the look like xenon lights. is it maybe xenon or it's just the type of lights for the r line ?

The headlight are the xenon ones. There are no special lights for the R-Line. Problem is, they are quite expensive in the option list.
