By the way Christians sending people food helps perpetuates hunger, it creates war lords who take over food supplies, and while the good people die they make money, or feed their private armies.
If the Same money and man power was put into building cisterns and water storage facilities like the ones in Ancient Petra,
Mesopotamia, India etc.
Then they could store the water that falls in the rainy season and use it to grow crops, it was done in ancient times and would be much easier to do today.
They get the same amount of rain as us but they get it all in 2 months.

When Jim Bakker sent thousands of trucks of food around the world people DO give!) he was thwarted in getting it delivered; trucks were stopped in their tracks, tolled by the mile...he exposed mysterious govt. conspiracy to deprive starving people. I'm all for the cause but please rephrase!

How can churches not be behind ending the fucking drug war? We have more prisoners than any other country, we are destroying families of mostly poor desperate people. Also, what does the law allow? organized crime. How many moon shiners still exist since that was regulated? not many. A person cannot get past an arrest for drugs even if they never touch them again. Its insanity that our religious moral ethic has become so ignorant.
Keep in mind also that cannabis/hemp is dirt cheap and can grow practically anywhere. It is only expensive in some areas where it's production is prohibited by legal statute (not by law - important difference).
However, it's also important to note that starvation in the world is inversely proportional to property rights. Around 85% of the world's populace owns nothing (and most American's are part of the 85%, not the remaining 15%). See "Who Owns the World."

churches and other mission organizations use what little resources they have to feed people, which are all donated, now I'm not attacking you I'm attacking the lie you just produced also not everyone knows about the nutritional value of hemp, not everyone can afford hemp or organic food, its just not realistic.
what about the Vatican and the pope? do they have little resources too? Do they give any of their "little" resources to end starvation and war all over the world? If they do, well I guess you just have to look around you to see the benefits of their efforts.
um really now last time i checked that's all churches do is try to end hunger through thousands of organizations like mercy ships, friend ships, salvation army etc. This is really sad how people think churches are not against world hunger.
