What should i do? i'm in high school, and i swam for like 6 years (but never liked it). i love football in many ways. but i want do sport that will please god. does anybody have an answer can anybody pray for me? i need the answer asap because my resigration form due on monday.
@wannabebboy1, If your name is Jonas... then go with swimming. Other than that, it is not "what you do" as much as "how you do it" (yes there are exceptions). Jesus never told the Centurion to change what he did, just to change how he did it.
@yurtyybomb ok here's the thing. in general, tim should have died in his mothers stomach and who knows what could have happened to his mom. only tim didnt die and his mother kept hanging just for him, cause she knew that god had a purpose for his life. things worked out and now he's a huge blessing. does that answer your question?
@hmbeliever I already understood that side of the argument. The counter argument is, given all of what you just said and given that God supposedly watches over everything, why would he allow them to be in taht situation in the first place, causing pain and suffering. The response is probably that it was a "miracle". Well, what about the kids that don't make it? If that's part of "God's Plan", then why do some people get carefree lives, and others extremely hard, sad, miserable ones.
@yurtyybomb well my friend, sometimes the Lord allows us to endure hardships in order for us to depend on him more, because the more we go through difficulties, the more our dependence on God is raised. God is all-knowing, he alone knows why he allows certain things to happen to certain people. If God chooses to take one's baby, it's for an important cause, but mostly to strengthen hope. There are other times when God just wants our attention drawn towards him. That helpful? u can email back too
I think tim tebow is a great person at heart, i have nothing against his religion. I dont think hes that great of a quarterback but as a competitor and leader hes the needle in the haystack of players out there. I think he would not be so populer if he wasnt so religious though.
@hunterzone2 He can run If both parents are united states citizens you are considered natural born citizen regradless of what country you're born in. John McCain wasn't born in U.S soil but since both parents were U.S. Citizens or natural born that makes you a natural born citizen. Now if Tebow decides he wants citizenship in another country than that's a different story.
@haggiss in what way has Tim shown that he is sexist, homophobic or a sheep of society? i'm fairly certain he hasn't, you're just placing a lame, old, tired stereotype on yet another person simply because they say they believe in Jesus Christ.
God protected him in the womb? bullshit!!. home come my child had 2 knots in his cord and was rapped around his neck? so God chose him? y not my son? how come God didnt' save my child? keep believing this bullshit.
Not sure why people are trying to make issue of Tebows religion, I live in Colorado, I'm an Athiest, there is no local talk about his religion being an issue for teammates, it is a fabricated issue and you should all relax, he is what he is and I am enjoying the ride!!
@CrustyRim1 Great comments. I am a Christian who loves the LORD. @devinthomasmusic Don't be a stupid pussy dude. I said I like and respect him, I am just saying he sounds dumb, not that he is. You however sound very stupid if you can't read my simple comment.

which is what faith and belief in the imaginary is...."opinion". And like my opinion until proven that is exactly what it is no more no less same as any religion.
@salvi1979 - proof huh? you must be the only one making a proof claim on the planet, so please briefly detail the proof that God is not involved in lives of believers - remember, opinion is not proof right?
Please don't back off the proof claim and don't be dumb in your response - thanks
like I said its my opinion so I could be right or wrong and that is the difference between someone rational like me and fanaticals because they think they are always right without proof and everyone else is wrong especially if they believe in a different imaginary man in the sky LOL
@salvi1979 "in other words despite all the lullabies God doesnt have anything to do with what one does on this planet and that has been proven for centuries".
That is your statement, re-read it and provide us all with the proof you allude to, if you can't do that, you risk looking like a "fanatic". In others words, man up and stand by your statement, or admit you were factually incorrect
@hazardroll1 Look up Ricardo KAKA, a soccer player, check out his video on how he outran the whole Argentinean team and scored a goal from his own half =),
hes also religious, and i have nothing but respect for Tebow and his beliefs, god bless.
@hazardroll1 Its crazy how Tebow is getting so much hate for a being a good and humble guy, just because he is a christian. But at the same time there are guys in the NFL that have been criminals, cheated on their wives and have done some illegal shit in college aswell, but they are regarded as superstars..
@hazardroll1 i agree he is a good person but an awful lot of nfl players are very religious that doesn't seperate him it's the fact that he is so outspoken that seperates him.
Quit making fun of Tim Tebow most of all Christianity. The only reason why he's good is becuase of GOD. He's not a critical man & religious means you force your religion on ppl. or theres a radical.
omfg...the chosen one.....get out of here, he hasnt proven anything. everything he accomplished in college he did because of his defense and percy harvin. withouth them in his senior year he flopped, stop putting him a pedestal where he doesnt belong

@UFGATORS9606060708 ill watch what i want and next time you try to insult me, spell it right dumb shit, its faggot and the only reason i watched it was because i thought it might be something good instead of a documentary about how perfect he is.
@bigcody79 ur clearly a bama fan, but even if u arent, ur still wrong faggot. i spelt it out just for u. i wouldnt call 13-1 in his senior season a flop either. he had a great career and carried his team the entire time. defense did not play the role tebow did. look at his stats. he is legendary. the greatest to ever play the game. u mad?
@DoTheDanwah not a bama fan what so ever and tebow cant do it all himself, without that defense to protect his lead he is nothing. thats why its call football not tebowball
@bigcody79 bigcody isnt a reference to terrence cody? damn i thought i had one. anyway, i watched florida football closer than anyone while he played and he was important in their first championship even as a backup but was without a doubt the main reason they won in 2008. His Heisman is another example of his individual greatest.
@DoTheDanwah but to call him he chosen one, the chose one is great on all levels, better yet legendary on all levels. he is not a chosen one for anything other than maybe evangelism.
@bigcody79 he doesn't pick his nicknames man. i think calling someone the choosen one is stupid to begin with. it puts immense pressure on the young player to live up to unbelievable hype. look at what they did in cleveland calling lebron the choosen one. espn is at fault here, not tebow. he is the most humble player i have ever seen
@DoTheDanwah i didnt say he chose it. i probably didnt clarrify what im hating on, im not hating on tebow really just all his retard fans who think just because he dominated in college and high school he is going to dominate in the nfl. the nfl is a different kind of monster and will players alive. its gonna do it to cam newton, tebow, vince young (it already has), etc. very few quarterbacks that play his style make it
@bigcody79 his intangibles make up for all of his mechanical weaknesses. you watch, the difference between cam newton and tim tebow is determination. tebow is determined to be a starting NFL QB. He did not switch positions when they asked him to. He has everything a team could want in leadership, athletic ability, and morals. If he continues his hard training he will be there in a few years
@bigcody79 well we dont know that yet. he has only started 3 games and has already got a win. he threw for over 300 yards in one of those games two. the nfl has not stopped him from running so far either. i dont think elway is a big fan and so he may not start this year, but hopefully he gets traded to a team that can use and appreciates his talents...i hope the jaguars, so i could see him play.
@DoTheDanwah even a blind squirrel find a nut, if kyle orton can throw for 400 yards in a game i have no doubt that tebow can do it in that offense, but he cant do it in a pro style offense. his arm is not good enough. he is a system quarterback and again there is nothing wrong with that but i think teams would eventualy catch on and take advantage of his slow release, late reads, and running ability
@bigcody79 wait...ur saying the Denver Broncos dont run a pro style offense....even though they are a pro team? i think that makes their offense a pro offense by default lol
@DoTheDanwah lol you idiot, pro style offense does not mean in the pros, college teams like notre dame and usc run pro style offenses. tebow is a spread formation quarterback. he has to be in the shotgun in order to best utilize his talents.
@bigcody79 oh my lanta you clearly didnt get the joke. yes i know there are multiple forms of offenses like spread, west coast, pro, air raid, run and gun, two back, etc. however, the whole point of people saying he wouldnt make it in the NFL is becuz he doesnt fit in a pro offense. guess what? IT DOESNT MATTER WHEN HE IS ON A PRO TEAM THAT DOESNT USE A PRO OFFENSE. clear enough?
I wonder if this kid will ever make it to the NFL :P

Tim Tebow is religious and gives hope to disadvantaged kids.
Therefore if you hate on Tebow for his personal choices off field you are a jerk and an idiot.
But! That shouldn't stop people from questioning his on field decisions.
