@Bugsy519 nobody can say if it was an I.E.D or Car bomb. i bet there was nothing left after this heavy explosion. if you stop between 0:33 and 0:34 you can clearly see that the explosion takes place where the big truck was. another thing which also speaks for a car bomb is, that the truck was moving slower and slower and going to the right so the convoy could pass, just before the explosion. i would say about 1 ton explosives couldnt be digged into the ground on a "highway" like this

@Scorpac That's true, but it depends on the grade of explosives and also the type. It could be C4, TNT, Semtex... the list is endless. This isn't a liquid explosion as there's no flame or burst of bright light, it's a heavy dense explosion. Tbh, I'm unsure, but I'm almost sure it's an IED as the truck moves onto where or near the convoy would have driven. In most cases, IED's are set off from a distance by their planters, so the truck may have been misidentified!!

@Scorpac Actually, no one died, except the bomber. There is a version of this video on YouTube posted by someone who knows about the incident. The explosives were packed into the truck wrong and directed the blast outwards into the wrong directions.
