how do you kill all the guys at the junkyard without getting killed. thats what always makes me fail

Some basic stuff: always have full health + armor before starting the mission. Also have good weapons. As you enter the junkyard you may want to use your car as a weapon too, hitting the enemies with it. Just make sure the car doesn't get blown up before you get out. Also, don't rush into a gun fight - take out the enemies from a distance whenever you can.

I always used the helicopter. You're much faster there and you can land straight on top of the roof.

But it's so easy to do it in a car, so why bother getting a helicopter for this. It takes time to get a heli too, you know. Cars are everywhere.

after about 4 tries i managed to save lance. then i took the car and drove out the FRONT and 2 cop cars,and about 5 cars with diaz's men rammed in to me.i got out with lance and BOOM all cars explode.......and i died.......AGAIN but thanks for showing the bridge anyways

This video is from the PC version of the game, so that could explain it. On PC it's third person aiming as default; sometimes you can go to first person, but that's only when aiming with certain guns.

It has to do with this guy using Standard controls instead of Classic, which strafes (side-steps) instead of turns with the left and right buttons. Personally, I think it's retarded for a game like this, but that might be based on the fact that I--like so many of us--am used to the original controls and view change unfavorably. This definitely isn't a model video for someone wanting to beat the game, either--try cutting those corners and wielding your SMG (Uzi, MP..) which aims for the head!

I think he means that there are no cars on the road at all when he drives to the hospital...not only are there no guys chasing him (the hard part about this mission) but he never passes a single car except for a parked police car. Weird. Nice shooting though.

There are two cars that chase you when you leave the junk yard, but you can shake them off your tail by driving over the bridge immediately to the right when you exit the yard, just like I did in the video. If you look closely at 3:40 you will actually see one of the chasing cars appearing.

I agree that it's weird that there were no other cars driving around, but I suppose that happens sometimes. Maybe it's because of the chasing cars or the weather, or just pure randomness.

You took the slow way. I always have a helicopter ready before hand. After I speak with Kent Paul, I'm at the the location where Lance is held up in no time. I even fly us out of there as well.

i rember this mission very well bcause i set a record for how many attempts to complete it i think i got up to about 34 attempts b4 i completed it hahahaha. I hope im a better gamer now.
