  • Good work! Well done. Very informative and well paced tie. Easy to follow.

  • I am doing Dahlberg diver on a liitle harder way and I need for tying it something about 3 h , also I put MONO WEED GUARDS so I cant use razorblade only scissors...

I must to say also that tail could be from some green ,yellow feathers it looks little bit better from my point of view !!

  • does it stink?

  • I'm hoping you were asking if it sinks. The design of the fly is to float just on the surface but to dive when retrieved since the head is trimmed in a manner to make it want to dive under the surface. It then gently floats back to the surface. This action is what makes this fly so effective. And it doesn't stink either.....

  • I hope people appreciate the beauty and artistic talent that is involved in making this fly. Working with deer hair is very difficult and Ken makes it look super simple. He certainly has a gift!

  • Great set of videos. I watched them several times and started tying. Great instruction. Thanks for posting these.

  • I have tied lots of years, but learned more about positioning hair on flies than anyplace else ever on this video. Amazing amazing work with deer hair. the best I've ever seen. Truly great technique. I bookmarked these 4 videos. Thanks, a real master at work!!!

  • Thanks for the comments. Ken is certainly one of the best deer hair tiers I've run into and was fortunate to get to video him.

  • Nice Videos!
