@caponepony American accents are just the same as any other accent in terms of being accents in the first place. American accents are generally accepted as generic, but a lot of other accents come through in music. And I much rather prefer things to be less generic and more varied.

I don't think 'you're not supposed to' hear an accent in singing. I think it's fair to say it's up to anyone if accents are meant to be heard ;)

Nice mix. I like how the songs complement eachother. Like 'The Fear' is talking about celebrity life and obsession and Britney's song is an example of that.

I tend to work on a sort of mental 'symmetrical' thing, so if I use someone's instrumental (in this case Britney's), I use less of her vocals because of the artist's track, there would be nothing but the vocals you see. And it's hard to always be so even also! But I understand where you're coming from and I appreciate your comment.
