Batman: Arkham asylum is a good game. It helped redeemed the Batman franchise when it comes to video games, and definatly makes up for the cancelation of the video game based on The Dark Knight.

I hope the sequel is as good as this game. It should have Two-Face, Penguin, and some fan-favorites in it.

My only gripe abou this game is that it was too easy on normal. I don't think Hard will too tough. This game is a bad example how easy games are these days... Still, this is my second favorite game of the year.

I played the game, the gameplay is extremely slow, but there's something in the game that just made me love it so much, the joker, the riddler, the villains, the voice acting, and the way it's presented.Amazing game, I would give it 3#.

People seem to overlook the fact that not only did Mark Hamill reprise his role as Joker, but Kevin Conroy and Arleen Sorkin reprised their roles as Batman and Harley Quinn, respectively. Almost every voice actor from Batman: The Animated Series had a part in this game, which, again, it overlook due to the fact that Mark Hamill is the biggest name in the game (and the best Joker IMO).

hmm uncharted 2 is looking to be high. I hope he is not rating it that high because of popular opinion. I watched the playthrough and he was not having fun in a lot of places (well compared to Ghostbusters or Arkham). I distinctly remember him saying how the game was not ending and he was tired of playing the same shit again. The same three generic enemies and repetitive combat etc...

Atleast UC2 has both solid SP and MP components. MW2 was way more MP focused and the SP suffered for it--scripted, short, and not very memorable. And to me the MP has had tons of glitches, exploits, crap maps, etc. I don't even have it as a personal game of the year to me, it let me down in every category.

uc2's campaign was definitely great, but i don't see where you're coming from when you say its multiplayer was as well. you had all of about 8 guns to use, there's only a few game modes, a few maps, and the amount of people playing it is a good indication of how good it is- about 5,000 daily.

mw2's campaign was pretty average; i said that from the start. however, the multiplayer's glitches and exploits have been/are being addressed immediately. within a couple months, the game will be like cod4

Uncharted 2 has a great multiplayer what are you talking about? There are the enough game modes to make it enjoyable. Deathmatch, Elimination, capture the flag, king of the hill. chain-reaction, and about 2 more. Plus the co-op is also great...3 player survival which is very similar to firefight in ODST and gold rush which is like capture the flag with waves of enemies. many places say its an experience that can warrant its own $60 purchase and i agree.

@yurkler who told you that Uncharted 2 has 5000 players daily? There is always a good 10-12 thousand during the day and maybe as low as 6 thousand late at night. never have i seen as low as 5000 players.

a little sidenote: you gotta consider that this is Naughty Dog's first attempt at online multiplayer and looking at it that way you see it is amazing for a first try. not saying that makes it better but together with the best single player campaign ever, and you got game of the year.

that's the one thing i will agree with you on. The penalty system sucks although you get 2 times to quit before it starts taking away money and i think your chances reset every 24 hours but i'm not too sure about that. I've only lost money from that once, thank god it was double XP weekend =D

well with modern warfare 2 coming out a month after U2, it makes sense that not much are playing. During the sep.28-oc.13 beta, there were iunno maybe 12-20k players daily.
