60% of the federal budget goes toward entitlement programs (Social Security, Medicare, Welfare, etc). If Democrats like FDR didn't create these programs to give away our tax dollars to "the needy", then we wouldn't have this budget problem!

I voted for Mitt in the NY primary this year, the first time I was able vote. I plan on voting for him again in 2012 when he hopefully runs for president once again, unless McCain still holds office (I predict McCain will win this year). He separates himself from the other candidates in that he actually led things. He led businesses, he led the state of MA, he led the Salt Lake Olympics. What has Hillary or Obama led? Nothing. The Bush cuts were an across the board rate cut and hence helped everyone who has any tax liability. I voted for Mitt in the NY primary this year, the first time I was able vote. I plan on voting for him again in 2012 when he hopefully runs for president once again, unless McCain still holds office (I predict McCain will win this year). He separates himself from the other candidates in that he actually led things. He led businesses, he led the state of MA, he led the Salt Lake Olympics. What has Hillary or Obama led? Nothing. What have they done as senators? Nothing. Mitt has accomplished alot.

As people mature and learn the facts, most do tend to change their stances on a specific issue. The Bush cuts were an across the board rate cut and hence helped everyone who has any tax liability. This guy is pathetic. He's in for all the people who believe in patriotism above god, god above everything, money an exception to god, the bible is a weapon, diversity is not as pure as white, and our great grandfather's fortune should be invested and all revenue should be kept in the family instead of helping our community or paying just taxes for governemnt community programs. exception: still thinks the rich should pay like everyone else, but all of us should definetly trow our taxes into war

He'll probably end up the republican nominee, I can't imagine McCain, Huckabee might still have a small chance if he sticks to his guns, Giuliani just lost to Romney in Florida, almost in a pitiful way and Paul, well, he looked very main stream in the last debate, he'll likely move upwards, but he would be the only anti war candidate (except Gravel, who is <1%) amongst both Republicans and Democrats, so that'd really be a revolution. Issues though: 50% of the budget is already for the military.
