  • India has excellent tract record in relationship with transfer of nuclear tecnology.India since the acquire of nuclear tecnology in 1976 it has NEVER TRANSFER nulear tecnology to nay nation on this planet period!!

Where do you think roge nation like Pakistan, North Koria and Iran get there nuclear tenology??? The great nuclear proliferator china. So china has NO MORAL GROUNDS TO COMMENT ON INDIA-US NUCLEAR DEAL.

  • nuke for mangoes.....great deal !!!

  • Well Bush got it right... Indian mangoes are sooooo worth it!!

    Best fruit in the world!!

  • @bombonpakistan

come of your cow urine you sick ugly hindus bastrdz, you come here mouthing off you keyboard warriors. Face to face you be on the floor, Dont push it d!ckface

Come in the slaughter zone, you will go into slavery again, that for assure, your Hindus ideology is being slaves, Muslims ruled you for 1000 years. your woman used to be mistress of great pakhtuns,

you inferior piece of shit, it another close day to capture you people, get ready to pay heavy taxes

  • @GreaterPakistan you will soon be divided into 5 nations and we will send porkis there much loved cow piss

  • @GreaterPakistan ,

Where is Aurangzeb now ? Where is Ibrahim Lodi ? Where is Khilji ?...............A Hindu respects greats including Rasulallah (SAW).......But remember Hindu civilization is based on the spiritual understanding of countless Hindu rishis/saints.......it will always continue to exist!

  • @GreaterPakistan ,

You own Allama Iqbal has said about Indian civilization and heritage :

yūnān-o-miṣr-o-rumā[12] sab miṭ gaʾe jahāñ se

ab tak magar hai bāqī nām-o-nishāñ hamārā

  • @anant14

get over it now, everyone share the same culture, value, tradition in the sub-continent, it was big country once, i believe one day we will re-unite.

  • @GreaterPakistan Your right , when we will be unite this country name should be Gerat Pakistan,

    Pakistan Zindabad,

  • @angria2008 first spell "great" properly then think about gerat pakistan.......hahaha

  • you inferior piece of shit, 3rd class hindu rats, i'm not punjabi, i'm Pakhtun,

We will fight india, 4uck you

  • Giving the country which is the BIGGEST democracy and had the biggest NON-VIOLENCE movement ever nuclear tech is a good thing. Regardless of what morons (paki pigs) think

  • that combined with complete compliance with IAEA rules and a no "first use" policy

  • Interesting to note that among the indian brand of weapons a particular item known as curry bombs have also been recovered in huge quantities and this is something made only by Indian ordinance factory and no where else in the world. Indians are playing an evil game in the region... I ask all to do their own research into the events of Mumbai Attacks and also the indian involvement in Pakistans' western border... You will reach a conclusion within no time!

  • It is imperative that the world takes a good look at indian sponsored terrorism in Pakistans' western region through its consulates in Afghanistan. India blames Pakistan for mumbai attacks based on things found on the fake terrorists which includes things made in Pakistan such as shaving cream, candies, phone sim and generally available guns and whole world keeps quiet on hundreds of tonns of indian made weapons recovered from indian backed taliban during Pakistan army operation against them.

  • Lou Dobbs is Jealous of Indian Mangoes - since he has piles on all his openenings , he cannot risk eating Mangoes.

Poor bastard, is so sick with the thought of Indian Mangoes entering USA.

The abstard does not know , it is US nuclear industry whoch wanted this deal - India does not need American technology.

Half of Amewrican technology is made by Expatriate Indians in America anyway ! Pentium Chip to Cruise Missiles , Laser guided Missiles , Indian scientists in USA made them.

  • long live the prime minister of India

  • As said, US need counter balance for china, and they got one..

Trust is there, If they break it,no one will care.. Thats what the plan would be, to get balance in dark force.

Now what is dark, china or US??

  • i hadd a drem that turkey is building nukes under ground

  • India is a responsible country and it is not a threat to any other country.

  • Neither Israel nor India signed the NPT.

North Korea is the worlds largest prison. It's a microcosm of the soviet union.

  • really more likely india doesnt really need US that much more like US needs india more

cause were not a failing ecnomy

we have all our company in top shape unlike america

  • America needs India to counter balance China. India needs America to wipe terrorism. We all need mangoes to yum yum!

  • china is the greatest proliferater of modern time fuck china and pakistani dogs the greatest proliferaters .

    hypocitical chinese and paki dogs.

india is the most powerful and largest democracy in the world.

    jai hind

  • we thank america for their cooperation..

but we are always grateful to russia, israel, france and other's....

we also have nuke deals with france and russian's

  • india has never prolifereted its technology to other countries. It has a strong 'no first-use policy'. india needs weapon to protect it from hostile countries like China. Moreover it is a largest and strong democracy. India never has been an aggressive country like Iran though it is considerably strong.

  • why nuclear deal is not with Iran????

Do we need to give you answer???

Iran is dreaming of USA and ISRAEL to be wiped out from the face of the earth.(Ahmadinejad himself had said that).

USA is not an idiot ...........to give a rogue nation like iran the incentive to have nuclear bomb , so that it can profilerate it not only to the irresponsible extremists nation but also to the hamas and other islamic terrorists

  • but i can understand that ...................." linktv" has close relations with alzazeera tv channel and probably has some pro-islamic owners.

nice propaganda by potraying mulims as a victim although everybody know the butchering and despicable acts by our muslim friends.

  • wow!

    nice propoganda.

Anyone can notice that this is a pro-islamic channel and is related to alzazeera (another islam sympathizer).

only half of the news which show the muslims as victim is shown without giving the attention to the dark and horrible side of islam.

all the nations in which islam is established as a state religion are human right disaster places.

    somalia , afganistan,iraq,iran,somalia

  • MANGOES

  • Russia already tested a conventional bomb comparable to nuclear bomb. When there will be long range cruise missiles do you really think anyone will care about nukes anymore?

  • Again, you are caught hibernating in some sort of anticipation of some future development.

Consider what is at hand today & formulate your response accordingly.

  • Since when you making the rules of youtube? You fail to realise nuclear weapon is not the future. Biological weapons are much more deadly in any given day. What makes you think a country will keep on testing nukes and make bigger ones.

  • There's nothing in my comment to suggest 'making youtube rules'. For the foreseeable future, nuclear weapons will remain the ultimate weapon whose symbolism is enough to act as a deterrent as opposed to its actual use. No other weapon or weapons-system has managed to match that.

'Better' nukes doesn't necessarily translate in to 'bigger' nukes, fyi. Its abt 'smarter' ones..

  • this was the topic of debate yesterday in the Connecticut Debate Association's debate competition

  • Nukes for Mangoes...Lovly..just Hillarious

  • Nukes for mangoes, that's a good fucking deal.

  • lol

  • Unlike you, he's civilized & knows that mutual respect is the key to a good discussion even when two ppl disagree on issues. You're jst another 5yr old frustrated kid who wants to grab attention by sticking ur foot in to a discussion thats been done away with for over two weeks. I pity ur desperation..

  • They will. U obviously have NO clue abt how NSG works or how NPT works or for that matter, HOW the international non-proliferation regime works. U're only here to split-hair, waste my time, ruin my civilized discussion with another user. Grow up kiddo, get a life..

  • Either way better than 5yr old frustrated Indian kid like you who is craving attention by desperately inserting yourself in the middle of a discussion I had with a 'civilized' Indian. Quit wasting my time, continue on wid ur candy kid.

  • If India tests a nuclear weapon again, its no rocketscience that ALL the nuclear deals it has signed will be cancelled automatically as is written in those deals. The will of the majority of the international community of states often trumps that of a domestic majority. Perhaps you wud want to enrol in a course titled 'International Relations 101'..

  • I have no problem with Asian nations exerting their weight on international relations, I'm asian as well but fact of the matter is, the current international system favors Europe & the United States. It would take another 50yrs or so before we see any 'real' influence exerted by Asia.

  • What about Russia? Russia is in NO position to challenge the United States even under present circumstances. Russian belligerence in Georgia was mere posturing which was not backed by much power owing to which Russia later agreed to almost all demands of the U.S & E.U except for the one of rescinding its recognition of S.Ossetia & Abkhazia. Apart from its nukes, Russia's military capability is worse than China's. France is desperately repairing its historic ties with U.S, it would not stake 'em

  • Yes they will be. All those states such as Russia, France, etc are NSG members; they cannot stake their credibility on an issue such as this. They will end up terminating all nuclear-cooperation deals with India..

  • It becomes an issue when the United States decides that it doesn't matter whether Iran has the right to enrich uranium, for example, under IAEA & NPT rules because it still poses a threat to long-term ally Israel. Any state having nuclear ties to Iran whether IAEA approved or not, gets the hammer..

  • You really think that in the event of a nuclear weapons test by India only the U.S will withdraw its deal? You would be mistaken. A nuclear test would create an extremely negative backlash against India. India has axed its own foot by signing the deal..

  • That is your figment of imagination...Anyhow, India had to sign the deal to get fuel....

  • And also give its word to U.S. and NSG Suppliers Group that India will NEVER again test a nuclear device. U.S. officials have said it countless times, one nuclear test from India & all deals are off.

  • 1) India don't need to do any more tests. Now all it needs is more nuclear material to make the nukes.

    2) When ever India wants to get out of the deal all they have to do is a Big bang. How easy is that?

    3) Withing 10 - 15 years India will have Thorium reactors running and enough nuclear weapon stock pile. I don't think India will need this deal anymore after that. Then they can do the bang and start producing energy from thorium which India has a lot. 2nd in the world almost same as Australia

  • 1) Like other nuclear powers, India WILL have need to test & improve its nuclear assets in the future [e.g the U.S is already embarking upon an ambitious plan to build 'next generation nukes']. If India doesnt conduct more tests, it will be left behind.

    2) Its naive & even childish to think in such a way. If India conducts another nuclear test, the cancellation of Indo-US nuclear pact would be just ONE consequence.

    3) Lets not get carried away with predicting future; concentrate on the present

  • Yes, again, that statement refers to procedural requirements; not the 'legal' aspect of making a decision to export nuclear-tech to another state, especially an NPT non-signatory. The repurcussions of a unilateral move to sell nuclear-tech without NSG approval is close to political suicide in the international arena. China is not prepared for that.

  • Again, deliberate or non-deliberate; that is NOT the basis of the international non-proliferation regime. It depends on 'actions', not 'intentions'. Training of Iranian nuclear scientists is a BIG thing so lets not try & undermine its significance. They went back to Iran with knowledge they would not have had otherwise & passed it on to a new breed of Iranian scientists, so on & so forth.

  • Point is, members of the NPT violating any article of the treaty are held responsible under the terms of the treaty but since India likes to think its above the treaty then it has to face music set forth by bilateral actions taken by other states against it. For instance, whether you like it or not, the current Indo-US deal is balancing itself on a fine-thread. It only got through cuz of India's voluntary commitment to NOT ever test a nuclear weapon again; if it does, the deal will be cancelled

  • National Laws do not necessarily matter since they're merely there for procedural issues. China is an NSG member and it has to comply with the rules & regulations.

  • Well when India doesn't want to sign Internationally 'accepted' treaties like NPT & CTBT; it will then end up facing bilateral actions against violations.

  • David Albright buying $10 nuclear-tech designs, Dr Prasad & Dr Surender, training Iranian scientists, etc are still outstanding issues and quite a chink in India's non-proliferation record vis-a-vis nuclear-tech.

  • No hard feelings.

  • You've taken that in the wrong context. The correct one being extension of Chinese co-operation to Pakistan in the nuclear-field which is sure to turn in to an Indo-US deal sort of situation.

  • Its no secret how the U.S. used all its leverage to get the approval of the NSG. United States is NO stranger to using strong-arm tactics in Int'l Forums once it decides unilaterally to do something. Its a superpower no one can really argue with on the basis of equality.

  • Your second reply told me not to 'bark' & called me a 'fool' to which I responded in kind. So lets not waste more of my time in this silly finger-pointing exercise.

  • Well not specifically the chemical part; but this is where the two scientists, Dr Prasad & Dr Surendar come in to play. But the point of the discussion is 'proliferation'. If you can have trading in chemicals that can be used in chemical weapons owing to lax export controls, nuclear-tech then is not safe either.

  • India's global standing is entirely dependent on the United States ability to squeeze out benefits and to prep up a counter-balance to China along with a 1b consumer market for run-away capitalism. China has already announced plans to build two more nuclear reactors in Pakistan; no objections frm anywhere thus far because the NSG is still on a guilt-trip vis-a-vis India.

  • Where the name-calling started, is evident from a few scroll-ups.

  • which is why, NOW the argument moves in the correct direction; the principle of Non-Proliferation. It is NOT confined to nuclear-tech. Chemical & Biological weapons complete the tri-ad of WMDs.

  • Let us wait and see. For a country that starts whining over sales of even defensive weapons to its Western neighbor; what hue a nuclear-pact being implemented next door will raise, remains to be seen. 'Claims' do NOT amount to 'vindication'.

  • Let us wait and see. For a country that starts whining over sales of even defensive weapons to its Western neighbor; what hue a nuclear-pact being implemented next door will raise, remains to be seen. 'Claims' do NOT amount to 'vindication'.

  • It was a 'generalized' statement. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of the fact that Indian kids here love to engage in futile hair-splitting exercises. I'll be sure to come down to that level of intellect next time I make a point..

  • '60s, '70s or '80s or the new millenia; once you get a dent in credibility, thats all it takes. If you say what Indians did with CANDU reactor was correct & legal then we'd know where your through-processes are messed up.

  • DO also quote the next paragraph. The 'chemical transfers' weren't for feeding Iranian babies. They were chemicals that have military implications. The report also claims that 'other shipments' were stopped under U.S. pressure which otherwise would have gone through. Your ridiculous attempts at hair-splitting have become boring..

  • Then if you're going to justify Indian acts cuz of their non-signatory status to NPT & use that as the basis for the Indo-US nuclear deal; then perhaps you want to also agree that the whole AQ Khan thing falls under similar context. So tomorrow if Pakistan gets a full-blown nuclear-pact frm China; India shouldn't whine & raise hue & cry. U still think that proliferation means handing a bomb to the other guy in a briefcase. Unfortunately, thats not the definition used in non-proliferation circles

  • Yes, for those who are not willing to accept facts for what they are, every source will be just as 'ridiculous', 'biased', 'uncredible' and what not. India's first move to gain nuclear-weapons capability by hoodwinking the Canadians & using their civilian reactor for military purposes is more than enough to get a gist of how much the Indians can be trusted.

  • Outright lies are of no use. The CRS report names 4 firms and 2 individuals while at the same time stating that the 'U.S. blacklisted SEVERAL Indian entities between 1998 & 2003'. USA's proliferation record is NOT of interest here, that was a passing remark. India is the subject here, stick to it..

  • Taking USA's viewpoint? I'm taking Albright & other scientists as well as nuclear inspectors' viewpoint. U.S jst gave India the nuclear-tech deal, remember? Interacted? India actually trained Iranian nuclear scientists in the 1990s. If India was so SURE of its activities being under IAEA guidelines & legal, why did it not continue that cooperation with Iran & instead opted to vote 'against' Iran, its long-term ally at the SC? U.S. is looking for compliant states, India has opted to become one..

  • Did Iraq break NSG law? Where were the WMDs for which U.S launched its occupation & intervention? In Int'l politics, things aren't quite black & white as kids would want them to be. Fact is India has engaged in proliferation; used clandestine methods to obtain nuclear material & tech for its own program; infact introduced nuclear weapons to the subcontinent. Enough charges for anyone with two-cents worth of intellect to deny this non-signatory to the NPT a nuclear-tech deal.

  • Now someone whose comments are littered with rhetorical polemic is going to accuse the others for something he is guilty of. Obviously those who have not a single iota of evidence to support their viewpoints tend to cut n run..

  • Who do the scientists work for, the marshians? Or for Santa perhaps? They work for the nuclear authority which is an entity owned by the Indian government. If a state doesnt have controls over its scientists or entities operating in its territory, what guarantees can you expect when that country is not even an NPT signatory? Save you highschool lingo for your friends; your frustration is more than evident since an unjust cause cannot be justified.

  • You are trying to mix two different contexts. Russia, China & Spain are not being 'awarded' for their proliferation activities by the U.S [itself the biggest proliferator state around]. The fact that India is NOT a member of the NPT and still is being given the deal is a dangerous precedent. What happens tomorrow if Russia or China, pissed off at some U.S act, decide to transfer nuclear-tech to N.Korea or Iran? You are too naive to understand the implications

  • You're merely splitting hair like the highschool kid you are. 'Firms' is a blanket statement used on int'l forums to mean both firms and individuals who are both entities in the legal realm. India's counter-claims were NOT accepted, had they been, the case would've been closed. Quit dragging in Chinese, Russians & Spanish; they're not the ones getting nuclear-tech outside of NPT regulations by breaking Int'l Law. Your attempts to justify this nuclear deal have become laughable..

  • There is no diversions or distractions frm my end on the issue of Indian proliferation activities..

  • Yes it does. If you do not have strict control over WHO sees those designs or if you do not have strict export controls, a comprehensive cohesive structured nuclear authority, etc. It all constitutes as lax behavior owing to which nuclear-proliferation [doesnt mean u're handing the bomb to someone, even the sale of dual-use tech is counted is proliferation] can take place.

  • Before barking, first figure out what the other person is saying. Read the CRS Report for Congress filed in Nov. 2006 where Indian proliferation activities as the main subject matter. There have been more blacklistings before and after the 2005 incident you mention. Its not a one-off event. Find out what Dr Prasad & Dr Surender did for example kiddo..

  • Which makes me want to question your understanding of the term 'propaganda'. Please continue to make a fool out of yourself by all means.

  • Ahem! Its not abt who did wut at the individual level. If your highschool intellect permits you; its about the 'principle'. Four Indian firms were blacklisted by U.S. for dealing in nuclear-tech with Iran. Trying to brush things under the carpet jst cuz U.S wants a pet-dog in Asia to counter China & call everyone who questions the nuclear-deal as having 'agendas' is a ridiculous proposition. Trading nuclear-tech with a country that refuses to sign NPT is disastruous.

  • He's a 'physicist'. Go look that up in a dictionary if you have issues understanding what all falls under the scope of a physicist. If he can be credible enough to be made part of the IAEA team sent to Iraq to investigate its nuclear ambitions, he's more than enough of an individual to believe. Obviously your empty rants have no value which is why you have to drag Pakistan in to the discussion. The U.S. also banned & blacklisted four Indian firms for dealing in nuclear-tech with Iran.

  • Here's a non-Indian website biography of David Albright. isis-online (dot)org/about/staff/dalbright(dot)html

If he says he bought nuclear centrifuge designs in India for $10 & even handed them over to U.S. authorities, I can believe him more than I can believe George W. Bush. You are welcomed to pick between the two. Your 'half-baked' & 'half-hearted' attempts to discredit someone who has stripped India of the so-called 'impeccable' record are pathetic at best and ludicrous at worst.

  • Uhh.. that is not exactly proliferation mate. The Indian government was giving the designs to various private bidders for construction of a reactor so as to know whether they are capable of carrying out the task or not. They just need to be more careful about it and India has already given assurance that will tighten up the procedure. It wasn't done with a bad intention.

  • Tomorrow if a dirty bomb explodes in New York and traces lead back to 'designs handed by Indian govt' to private bidders; no one will look at 'intention'. It is the ACT that counts on international forums. India's proliferation activities are quite blatant.

  • He's more credible than 10yr old Indian kids here on youtube trying to justify the unjustifyable.

  • Since the domestic explored and unexplored uranium reserves are freed up now because of Indo-US nuclear deal, India will start to enrich its uranium to weapons grade !! It is good for india.

  • And bad for world & regional peace. U.S. track-record of promoting regional hegemons just went from bad to worse. But atleast one good thing about the deal is that India can NO longer conduct any nuclear weapon test.

  • India has around 100,000 tonnes of confirmed uranium reserves. There are many unexplored reserves in India.

    1. 1 tonne of uranium can yield 7 kg of U235 (U235 is the isotope used in making nuclear bombs)

2.10 tonnes of uranium used by the US for extracting and making 65 kg of enriched uranium.(this was the amount used in the nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima)

    3. India can make 10,000 nuclear bombs with its uranium reserves.

  • An the 'militant' outlook presented by this Indian is more than enough to see why the Indo-US nuclear deal is a disaster for world peace. Here's a nation where malnutrition is at its worst in the world, yet making 10,000 nuclear bombs seems to be the main priority. Pity.

  • Yes we all know India's 'impeccable' record on proliferation! David Albright was able to buy nuclear centrifuge designs in India for $10!! WOW!

  • The United States is once again displaying its double-standards in a bit to rush to make India dance a balancing act vis-a-vis China. A nuclear proliferator which has not even signed the NPT is being rewarded for no good reason. The world is less safe & less peaceful as a result of this ridiculous deal

  • it's not called nuclear 'cooperation' it's called 'proliferation' (for a reason) and of the four NPT non-signatories which were mentioned (i don't think usa signed either), three are at war (india, pakistan and israel). UN resolution and any moral society must condemn the sale of weapons (including nuclear technology) to a country at war. america sold nukes to israel. why has the UN not imposed sanctions on the USA? i think we know the answer and so i'm gonna stop my little rant now.

  • I think this comparison reveals an extreme bias as well. It's really hard to compare India and Iran when the United States has such a different history with each of the countries.

I also don't know why it was necessary to include the clip of Obama... there are many people who wouldn't take military option off the table with Iran.

  • I do actually agree with your premise about comparing the 2 countries being like comparing apples and mangoes, but I don't think that detracts from what LinkTV shows. They only have 5 minutes, the idea is to show you how it is percieved in those countries not to change your opinion about an already passed deal. I actually want them to show the "biased view". They do inform you that PressTV is state controlled so you know that it's information is only as good as what little it's gov't allows.

  • India is not only giving mangoes, it is giving you jobs for your failing economy, that guy on CNN should read this.

They are way far, living in imagination that they are wealthy and greats, look how your own govt. was lobbying for the deal.
