Yes their voices were a bit irritating, but it was clean and the tumbling looked good. They have plenty of competitions where you can be Non-Mount or Non-Tumble so maybe they did that.

They are a middle school team, they dont exactly have the lowest voices, and they havnt been competeing that long. Give them a break, Competition Cheerleading isnt really that big in NorthEast Ohio. haha.

Omg! there are different divisions in competition cheerleading. There are groups that are strictly cheering. There is NonMount. There is NonTumbling. Its to accomidate for any team. Why should the girls be punished&not be aloud to compete because their school cant insure girls to tumble or stunt? Girls can be crazy strict, have great voices&amazin jumps, but cant tumble or stunt. obviously these girls are awesome. they took 1st. I was there w/ Madison High School Small Varsity NonMount Nontumble

what do you mean your not allowed to stunt cause your on a school team? im on a school team and like half our routine is stunting,.. your routine could have been so much better with stunting. and yes. you are supposed to use your 'man' voice. just because you are girls gives you no excuse to sound girly. cheerleaders are strong. and you could have added alittle more attitude to the dance. instead of just smiling and doing the motions, really snap them out and look HAPPY.

@FreshGurlzTV and @ anyone else wondering why this team doesn't stunt-- they are not allowed by our school district because of insurance purposes... many schools in our area of Ohio do not stunt. Cheerleading is not all about stunting, fortunately. Be nice. You don't know if they're not allowed to stunt, or maybe they're like my team. (My team is the only one in the county that can stunt, so we can't stunt at comp. cause it;s an unfair advantage.)

And maybe the video camera makes voices higher, it happens. And even if they don't use "man voices" they're still a great team.

I don't understand, I just don't get it. If this is a cheerleading team, where's the stunts? Where's the attitude during the dance? Why are you voices so high pitched? Hasn't your coach told you the judges like to hear you 'man voices?'. I don't know, maybe I'm being to hard and expecting more. ALl star cheerleading and this is just a touch different:D

Well, then excuss me for my completly understandable confusion. I'm used to cheerleading, straight forwardly. And usually, even in middle school cheerleading, stunts are required. But then again, maybe where you're located, the aspects are different. I guess I'll just stick with hard core all star cheerleading.

@alexibeth23 well some middle schools stunt but some schools or districts even states have rules for their cheerleaders and yes i do think it is actually way diffrent from allstar it gets more advanced i think . but yeah some schools arent allowed to stunt.....But no matter what i say you guys killed that performance i loved it great job im a future high school and current allstar cheerleader myself =D

@alexibeth23 i am on a school team and it is in the biggining of the year. The first day we did stunts. People are already doing libs and we are only in 6 weeks of school. we get 2 practisis (sp) a week. Monday and Friday after school.(at our school gym) Im not sure what it called but me and 3 other girls are doing (i think they are calld shoulder lifts.) SO there is 3 stunt groups doing perimods and me and 1 girl are on the left side. and 2others are on the right side. We do shoulder lifts

@alexibeth23 you should know our team in michigan has a similar cheer ahah im not on the squad but i know they have the same cheer. they did there little routine thing at a pep rally and they dropped a girl o.O (they only have 7 people on the squad to.) i keep telling them they have no chance against other teams because we JUST started competion this year and have only had one month of practice.... i guess they learned when they got 7th place and there where 7 teams :/

@WRITEfluidity no trust me i've done competitive, watched all stars, have plenty of friends in all stars, and i'm still doing school cheer.........its not that different. Maybe they were allowed no to do stunts but indeed their voices are supposed to be lower and they are supposed to have spunk and attitude and TRUST me ur not expecting too much =]

I've done young foot ball cheerleading, then I got involved in some high school, but I found it almost toddler compaired to all star, so I went back to high athletics. But honestly, compairing high school cheerleading to top gun? I think you'll find a significant difference.

@ThePingShowJL Well, that being said, it still does not explain their lack of deep voices. Judges HATE hearing high pitched voices, that much is clear. It's not only for all star, but also middle school, legue cheerleading, etc. I'd know as much, because I'm, indeed, a coach and am constently going over the competition scores.

And we use man voices too. Maybe it's different here? We're suppose to use man voices because that's the only way the judges can understand.. on my team and every other school team we compete against we do stunts? In our competition routine, the first stunt is a lib to a scale? HMM! haha. i don't know.
