Here in Cali crf250x is green sticker and crf250r is red most people buy the X and modify It to be like an R so they can ride all year long at state parks. Not just a fraction of the year-Red sticker

@kyjelly5524 just use regular gas, i have an 06 250x and use SAE 10w 40 oil and idk bout the tranny oil, and change the oil about every 5-10 rides or so

i have a 09 250x yes the 250x has the same unicam race motor as a 250r only difference is the exhaust and the gearing... stock its 14/51 buy a 48 rear sprocket and a slip on its a 250r

@dgkmonst i took mine out. look at the bottom of the spark arrestor... there is a small bolt for an alen wrench. take that out then pull out the arrestor with a flat head screw driver.

@kliffwalker Nah it's made by youreafuckingdumbass racing... I got about 10 horsepower out of it. You can really tell on the low end. It was too fast so I just bought a 07 crf250r and sold this one to a dumbfuck like u, but the difference is... He has a bike you probably don't. And to be completely honest with you.... I took this bike to a track a few times before selling it and I smoked guys on 250rs. You can look the track up if you'd like... Virginia motosports park. Vmp-atv.com

hey i noticed that u do not have the little plastice things on ur radiators and i know y because u have the protecters on but just go to rick ramsey and he has lots of mods on his bike and he did and experiment that showed those little plastice thing really made a big direrence on how hot the radiator is

@MrCrf230f Yeah didn't take too long at all. You gotta know what yOure doing though. The whole subframe of the bike is basically removed to get to the carb and you definitely have to know what you're doing when you change out the jets and everything.

@InfamyHD I got it for like 370 some and you have to get a header with it so that's like 170 some. If I were you I wouldn't do a big bore kit. This bike is really tough as it is and installing a big bore kit makes it unreliable. If anything just change your intake to what I have, install a Jett kit, full exhaust system and cut a hole in the top of your airbox to allow it to get air faster.

@customsunday It has a little bit more of a rumble to it now. Not a whole lot louder but it is a big difference. It really opens up the flow of the engine. Stock they are so constricted

@THURLRIZZLE Well you have to buy the number plate for a 250r and modify it to work. You can either make your own bracket or I have seen a lot of people on forums us zipties and Velcro on the bottom. Whatever you prefer will work

I sold this bike and have an 07 crf250r now. The 250r is so much faster. There is no comparison. My x was perfect for trails though. Nothing could touch it.

Great choise with the bike. I have it all moded out with pro circut engine parts, and the hot cam. I have been on the crf250r and my bike seems to have lots of power compared to it...But both bikes are great

Nope never had a problem what so ever. If you are going to put a different header on it make sure you jet the carb and if you jet it be very carful to do it right.

@Hondacrf150f2009 do you have a jet kit on the carb already? the megabomb will give you more bottom end and the powerbomb will give you more top end. it will help but it depends what you want to do with the bike ya know. do you ride trails with it or what?
