  • @toxiccupcake666 Yes I do think it was a quick fix to end the show, but I happened to like it. lol

  • @toxiccupcake666 I completely agree, but I think with the final episode they saved it the best that they could. I like the last episode, for what its worth it makes up for some of the 9th season crap.

  • @toxiccupcake666 Maybe, but that wasn't how Roseanne would have seen it.

  • @toxiccupcake666 I know what you mean, but in many ways her marriage was also one of the strongest possible because of that.

  • @toxiccupcake666 Because Roseanne would imagine her kids bickering just like her and Dan did and therefor would think them to be a perfect couple just as she though her and Dan were.

  • @toxiccupcake666 But thats how her and Dan were, and therefore she would think that would the best way to really survive life.

  • Dan looks thin here either way I love Dan

  • People with money dont struggle. Roseann and Dan worked HARD for what they had. They raised thier kids. They were good parents. ANd in the end Dan died so young that they couldnt enjoy thier son getting married or thier Grandchild/children/ or retirement.............or time alone together. I loved dan. John Goodman is an excellent actor. And this ending? WOW .........So I guess Rosie published her book and became an author............made some money..........but I bet she never remarried.

  • I just watched the ending on tv again and everytime it kills me. I start crying so hard I can barely see straight. Especially when you hear Dan's voice, "Roseanne..... Rosie......Roseanne." Everytime, no matter how many times I watch it, I lose it. I cant help myself. I can never accept that he dies. So Im going to ignore the finale. Dan/Darlene and Becky/Mark are together and Dan survives. I cant handle it any other way.

  • I could literally write a better story when I was in fifth grade. This is such a lame finale.

  • @keithfan555 Yeah okay keep talking no one cares

  • @TheAbby2sweet

are you roseanne? i didn't know someone could get so butthurt over a shitty 1990's sitcom. you're fat, abby.

  • @keithfan555 hahaha ur made me laugh:)

  • @TheAbby2sweet Yeah no one cares. That's why he has like 5 responds. Ahaha

  • I bought all of the seasons and watched them season by season. I liked this show once I went from a wealthy family to being around working families on my own once I was 18 and formed my grasp of what an American family was really like. The reason this show was a one of kind was because it Was what a real American family was like, unlike the Leave it to Beaver crap. Once they became wealthy, I lost interest in the show. Others did too I discovered, the finale is how the show finally saved face.

  • This finale blew my mind the first time I saw it. Brilliant writers on a brilliant series.

  • i loved the dan chacter so much when i heard that i statrted to cry so hard i loved that charcter likea father=(

  • why would you put becky with david and darlene with mark?? thats so wrong.

" I lost dan last year when he had his heart attack" here go the tears..

  • the finale of rosanne was so good and rosanne rocks.

  • your right pnaigrlizz

  • 2:40 - 2:50

    Roseanne's dissing Tom Arnold. ^_^

  • love roseanne, my mom got me hooked to it

  • This episode is so damn awkward. They got so dramatic the last few seasons....and whats with all the gay added charachters?

  • @IliveinMA

You were too stupid to ever be watching this show. That was the problem. You never had a chance with that brain.

  • The last season was so poorly written that by the time I got to the finale, I didn't care anymore. The first 5 seasons of Roseanne were genius. Everything after that went downhill fast. Does anyone really even like the last season of this show?

  • @Mikeyondadrums I have to 100% agree with you. When roseanne started writing her own scripts, everything turned sour. The family was just not loving anymore, roseanne was more bitter and barely smiled. Her and Dan were always at each other's throats. the reason why people become addicted to this show was because they were a NORMAL family that had issues, but at the end of the day, they had each other. This elements was missing in the last couple of seasons.

  • @sajae90

Wow, you're unbelievably dense. Did you not understand the finale or what? It explains exactly why things got so weird in the last 2 seasons. They were a normal relatable family right until the very end - they never changed. God, you're slow.

  • @Mikeyondadrums they jumped the shark

  • @Mikeyondadrums

Yes, thousands really did. You're unbelievably slow. Did you not understand the finale or what? It explains exactly why things got so weird in the last 2 seasons. The show was genius from start to finish. God, you're stupid.

  • @MelaniePortrip The point is, is that the last few seasons sucked ass. They weren't fun to watch. Do you understand that? The writing was piss poor and the characters went to shit. DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT? I don't care if it makes sense story wise. The writing in the last few seasons just made the show hard to watch. You don't need to defend the show to the death. Oh and since you were so nice in the way you responded to me...let me try. STOP your obsession with this fat bitch you dumb cunt.

  • @Mikeyondadrums

That second "is" was redundant, dumbfuck. All I read was your admission that you didn't get the writing or plot as a whole, you fucking idiot. Thanks for the further confirmation.

Stop my obsession with this fat bitch? I'm not obsessed with your mom at all, you failed abortion. Now go back to sucking you cunt of a father's dick. lmao

  • @MelaniePortrip You seem to not understand that someone can understand the plot, yet still think the WRITING in the fucking last seasons was trash. It's sad that you can't admit that. Nobody likes the fucking last seasons because they were horrible. I'm glad that you're so defensive and obsessed with this show that you can't accept any fault in it. One last time for you...I UNDERSTAND THE PLOT, BUT THOUGHT THE WRITING TOWARDS THE END WAS TRASH!!!. I hope that helps.

  • @Mikeyondadrums

If you get the plot then what could you possibly feel was wrong with the writing? I have my own gripes with the show so no, I don't think it was faultless. Genius, but not perfect. And your absolutes makes you look like an idiot difficult to take seriously. I mean come on, "nobody" liked the last 2 seasons? Really, *nobody*? Moron.

  • @MelaniePortrip The writing was poor. It wasn't funny and just seemed very disconnected from the majority of the seasons. Why is this so hard for you to understand? I get the point they were trying to achieve with the finale, I just felt it fell short. The writing of the individual episodes was just lame compared to the early ones. I didn't care for the anything the Connors did while rich. I didn't like the prince going after Jackie, Dan cheating on Roseanne, Lesbo Bev or any of the rest.

  • @Mikeyondadrums

    Why didn't you like it?

  • The producers obviously made this up when they were writing the series finale. The ninth season did so badly they had to end it with a little twist.

  • @ExpertDude13

Actually, Roseanne came up with it shortly after the episode where they give her the writing room as a birthday present aired.

  • This was the most brilliant end to a TV series...totally unexpected. But in a genius way. It was really a mindfuck when I first saw it. But now I get what she was saying.

  • so therefore I'm sure you a straight white middle class male has really suffered through history NOT

  • @Radetzky19 I don't usually cus at people much when I don't have to, but bitch, you're starting to cross the line. You have NO IDEA what I have been through in my 22 yesars on this planet. NONE! I've probably been through more in my short life than 1/8 of the US population, and while that's a small fraction, that's a fairly large number. Do not ever again presume to know me.

  • @NFLGuru22 and im not a bitch I'm a man. Well if you ahve been through shit the past 22 yrs than you should have learned not to say such bitter, and aggressive things against an actresswho proves alot of points you dont have to like her nor agree with her practices but her principles most of the time make sense. I'm sorry you had a hard life but never play the victim card or use an excuse on how hard your life is as an excuse to win an argument. I never presumed I knew you

  • @Radetzky19 You may be a man, but you argue like a militant woman for this woman. Why? Different people deal with different situations in many ways. I have been through a hell of a lot my whole life. Doesn't mean I have to be nice, understanding and kind to out and out ignorant people. Which, Roseanne is. What points does she prove? I'm interested to know. And I'm not playing the "victim" card. I'm just telling you truth. You presumed I didn't have a hard life, or wasn't "middle class earlier.

  • You people need to learn how to spell. And stop the cursing on the Internet. FCC could be watching. You never know.

  • Actually this is all a fantasy as well. The true story line is that Roseanne ate Dan and the original Becky. Oh and Tom Arnold's character as well. She did win the lottery but she spent all her money trying to darken her skin so people would think she was Oprah.

  • so was winning the lottery all a dream??

  • Dan was my favorite character. The guy was naturally funny!

  • For me...season 9 doesn't exist. This was "Roseanne's season" And I do not accept it. The woman has problems, and S0 only shows part of them She tries to legitamize everything she did in season 9 with that last episode, and it's bs. She's whacked out. The end of Season 8...THAT being the finale would have been the best finale in history, and Roseanne would have been praised. Instead, she had to f*ck it up. F*ck Goodman's character up because she's a man hating psycho. Screw Her.

  • @NFLGuru22 The show may not have been what it was without her, but it wouldn't have been NEARLY as good without Goodman, Goransen, Metcalf, Fishman, Gilbert, Galeki, or Quinn. I actually liked Natalie West as well.

Shelly Winters was comedic gold, and Sandra Bernhard was hot as hell.

Once again Roseanne...go to hell with all your hatred.

  • @NFLGuru22 Save it... no one needs to see your disrespectfu load of crap on here. It sounds like you are the one that really has issues buddy

  • @Radetzky19 Ahaha. I have issues for voicing my dislike of someone? Forgive me. I didn't realize you were so understanding, and bi-partisan. Most people who suck up the Roseanne kool-aid are the same way. It's not your fault you were born without capeability to think foryourself. It's not your fault you follow the first person that dangles a peice of meat in front of your eyes. Hopefully you'll learn, but I somehow think it's doubtful.

  • @NFLGuru22 woah sounds like you got some serious issues with this woman that you should prob keep to yourself... you obviously have a pre-conceived agenda.. let me guess youa re conservative and you cannot stand roseann being a democrat. Icant think for myself? Well for starters I'm agnostic so I already think more for myself than more than half of americans. Youa re really irational and if you are going to keep up with that crap then dont bother me

  • @Radetzky19 I have only to comment on the extreme idiocy of Roseanne. The issues I have with her don't prevent me from sleeping at night. How the hell do you figure I have some kind of agenda? I just recognize hate, and this woman has it by the shitload. I'm not conservative. I am independent. Meaning, I am not led by the nose by either party. I think for myself.

My disdain for Roseanne is not irrational. Disliking someone who spews hate, and lies is completely understandable.

  • @NFLGuru22 so how has she spread hate and lies???

  • @Radetzky19 In the hate realm, I can think of a lot of things. For instance, in the show. Always saying that Dan lost his water dish under the stove. Things like that. I can think of three seperate instances in the sitcom where she said that. That doesn't seem hateful to you? "Oh, it's just acting. It's in the script." Yeah, partially her script. It was basically HER show, and she reflected a lot of what she believes. She's definently a man hater, and she's nuts. For lies, refer to her site.

  • @NFLGuru22 Yeah whatever it is so funny why you have to be so defensive get a life dude. first of all that example with the water dish does not make sense but second of all if she does have something against men from time to time thats ok know why? CAUSE MEN STILL TREAT WOMEN LIKE SHIT. Women are victims of domestic violence, rape, etc.Women still dont get paid at alot of places as men do, etc. The equality is still not there.

  • @Radetzky19 If the water dish example doesn't make sense, you must not watch this show a whole lot. If so, that brings up the question "What the heck are you doing commenting on this video?" Men treat women like shit? Militant women like Roseanne(and probably you) want BETTER treatment. They want to be able to badmouth, berate, and belittle men, but still be allowed to duck the consequences. I have no problem with equal pay, and all that I DO have a problem with women like THIS...

  • @NFLGuru22 You cannot prove how she is "militant" even if it does seem that she may dislike how men do not always treat women so equally. You have this weird preoccupation that she has an agenda to alqays belittle men which is not the case you just dont get it you are consumed by hate for this woman to which you do not even know. Just b/c she can be harsh on mens oemtimes does not mean she is militant nor does she not ahve an excuse for what she does she is a smart woman

  • @Radetzky19 You're right, Rad. Crazy people don't really have an agenda. They pretty much just roam through life...

  • @mrsperera The episode where Dan dies is "The Wedding" of course it doesn't say he dies until this episode...but they do show when he had the heart attack

  • somebody help me!! whats the episode where dan passes away???

  • This is truly the best of the best.

  • I love Dan..He was the best!!

  • the 1 show for women...and it sold out....HAHAHAHAHA...i'm a guy...so i'll watch some al bundy

  • 3:32 :'''''(

  • i really wish they could've won the lottery... i think they really desereved it. It's just my opinion, but i think I would've been happier watching the show how it really was, not the fantasy... Oops... I forgot this was YouTube and I might be bashed for weeks now just for stating my opinion. Sorry if i offended any of you because of what I think.

  • the only thing i wanna bash you about is that your name is slimthugga34.....and yet ur sitting talking about Roseanne

  • lol but Roseannes a great show! and im not a thug or anything but i've had this name for years... i really wish i could change it because it sounds immature, but i wont keep any of its stats so ill just have to stick with it.

  • This is true lol, And i feel your pain bro, jonnysquirrels is a name they gave to me in my freshman yr of high school. xD i been wanting to change it but i couldnt either.

  • lol

  • I think the worst part of the whole video is right at the end when Roseanne says "I lost dan last year when he had his heart attack". Just like VaelVictus said....

  • It would be nice if there could had been a come back, like a reunion special?

  • Man they just blow your mind in the last 10 seconds.

  • the only thing I don't like is the couple swaps. darlene and david are why i watched the show.

  • So David got the good one? COOL.Darlene and Mark deserve each other.

  • Ok people if you reall like this show think about it its like real times around then But this show was the best and bye best i mean like in top 5 rank 1

it made me cry i understand but it made me laugh

as well it made me want to see the next episode after episode Roseanne Your Show was the best

  • Roseanne is legendaryyy. it is the shitt fo sho.

  • This has got to be one of the best if not THE BEST series finale ever!! I loved it.

  • If what doesn't kill us is making us stronger, we're gonna last longer than the greatest wall in China, oh that rabbit with a drum. If there's one thing that I've learned, while waiting for my turn, it's that in each life some rain falls, but you also get some sun. We'll make out better than okay, hear what I say. Yeeaah yeah, any day ay.

  • isnt ir or that rabbit? i thought they were talkin bout the energizer bunny :P

  • this is so sad i cry everytime.

  • This a not a Dan quote, but rather a really great Walter quote.

    "SHUT THE FUCK UP, DONNY!"

  • I think im the only one who got the big lebowski reference...

  • First off Dude, you don't have an ex-wife. Second off, it's a fucking show dog. It's got fucking papers.

    OVER THE LINE!

  • yes now shut the fuck up donny

  • I am the walrus?

  • The finale has always been my favorite episode. It's so incredible & touching. & it's ended so differently from other shows. I love it SO much!

  • So sad "He's still the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing I think about before I go to sleep"

  • Quite a lot of the ending is cut off on this one. I remeber Roseanne sits quietly for a long time and Dan's voice echos "Rosie?" and then you can hear some confused laughter because the audience is like "What, Dan's dead?"---I was like "Wtf?" for a moment myself

  • "Quite a lot of the ending is cut off on this one." - That's why there's a part 2 dude.

  • Thanks for answering nicely--someone else woulda called me a dumba*s lol

But, I coulda sworn there was actually some time cut out between part 1 and 2--Maybe I'm wrong :)

  • Sad episode. But the one that I can't figure is Jackie being gay, only because of how many things revolved around her male companions. Is she not a mother either? She could still be, but just wondering

  • do they show when dan dies?

  • No, shockingly this finale revealed it for the first time. There was an episode where Dan had a heart attack--I remember the commercials too--but it showed that he recovered and the series continued like normal until this finale.

  • Dan was a great guy. Good dad, friend, father... He was a real man.

  • ok im really confused by this last episode. can someone pleez explain it to me?

  • The reality is Dan's heart attack had killed him, the Conner family had not won the lottery, Becky had married David instead of Mark, Darlene had married Mark instead of David, and Jackie is gay instead of Roseanne's mother being gay.

The show is a story written by Roseanne Conner about her life as working class matriarch. To cope with life, Roseanne twists major elements of her life for the story, which the audience sees as "the show", and doesn't find out until the final moments of the series.

  • i did not like it that he had to die....

  • @SweeetKyChick Oh my gosh i totally cry evrytime i see it. A firend of mine will not even watxh the re-uns because she's pissed that they killed off Dan! Yeah! She takes her tv seriously!

  • it always hits me hard when she says she lost dan last year when he had his heart attack

    ugh. =[[

  • it's a lie! lol., they tried to make the last episode realistic but i concider it a bad joke. hope they don't make a sequel series based off of this episode like they are trying to do so people can concider this non-canon,dj dieing in iraq?!? come on.....your on crack roseanne. am i freaking out over a sitcom,jeez....time to go outside.

  • its amazing..the one show that helps me get through life.... i cry everytime i see this episode... ahhh life.. isnt it great.

  • This is sad, espically when Dan died

  • okay why didnt i know the show ended this way?! and am i the only one who feels awkward seeing mark kiss darlene like that and to think they were the ones that were really together lol.

  • no, it's true. i felt really awkward when i saw that.

  • They don't show Dan and Rossane's thoughts on him that really sucks that added a lot to the whole thing. I'm trying to find it however.

  • From a creative standpoint, the direction of the finale is unlike any other. It's quite interesting.

From an appreciative standpoint as a viewer, I can understand why many of you are bothered by the dour mood and "it was all fantasy" angle. It's been done before (Newhart), but never with such a saddening vibe.

Try to keep this in mind, though: it's a fictional television show. Don't fall into the trap of investing too much of yourself in the story. People often find such solace...

  • living in a dreamworld that they spend more time there, where the happenings are designed for happy endings and there exist no surprises. If anything, Roseanne looked to strip away that fallacy and return the viewer to "real life," one where such disappointments and unhappy endings are commonplace.

You're supposed to feel sad, and you're supposed to feel betrayed. Her monologue at the end is meant to empower you against the very feelings intended for the viewer by the story.

    Clever.

  • 3:20...john goodmans last look =(

  • I think I'm gonna just mentally delete this retcon.

  • I always cry to the ending of a very good show. Scrubs for one. But this one is the saddest. I mean like they're not really sad it just makes me cry. This had been my favorite show, and then I saw this episode and cried my eyes out.

  • The finale is a total mindfuck. I love it. It made me cry a lot, too. I normally don;t like sitcoms, but I really like the character development in Roseanne. It's so real.

I usually hate endings like this (i.e. "it was all a dream, lol"), but Roseanne pulled it off well.

Some things I'm confused about: If Jackie is a lesbian, does Andy exist..? What about Fred?

  • Fred possibly was a product of Roseanne's imagination. Andy, well he probably doesnt exist.

  • I think that darlene and mark would have made a better match

  • This was the worst season finale I ever thought possible. To have her say it was all a book. That she lied about Poor Dan who actually made the show. Then to twist it so that becky and darlene's husbands weren't who they were. It was just your typical Roseanne selfishness that screwed up the the series. It always had to be about her. Her character in the series said it all. We were CHEATED and if you actually liked this ending then I feel sorry for you because you don't realize you were CHEATED!

  • ur wrong. u totally missed the whole picture. the character of roseanne created this alternate reality to escape from the sadness in her life. it was a coping mechanism and it just pulls the viewer in way more, because it makes us understand that there are ways to escape reality other than drugs, alcohol, etc, and they can be positive ways like her writing. she wasn't trying to cheat anyone in this sense, the character they created was coping and created a world we all enjoyed.

  • @pnaigrlrizz Yes thank you someone gets it! I really appreciate your comment because its really telling the full intention of this season<3

  • i'm watching Roseanne on tv right now and realized ive never seen the last episode and i have no clue right now but i'm balling my eyes out, im seriousl i can bearly see the keyboard. but that could also be that i just finished the episode where Darlene's baby almost died

  • Yea i am shocked too Im so heart broken that dan died wow i have been watching Roseanne eversince and i finalley watched the last one Wow

  • i think the last episode is genius. when she starts explaining what really happened...its really cool.

  • I hated the last season. While some of it was funny/interesting, it ruined what Roseanne was supposed to be about.

  • The last episode it showing that the past episodes are just flash backs, she is writing about it.

  • In real life, Darlene is a lesbian, Arnie used to be Roseanne's husband , and Mark died of a heroin overdose >.>

  • Are you serious??? The ending actually made so much sense. Darlene & Mark (reformed goth & biker boy) make sense together, and they always hinted at an attraction between Becky & David through later seasons. And Jackie having jobs like cop & trucker, plus never being able to have a man. I loved the way the show ended.

  • It sad the fact that Dan dies, but is anyone else bothered by the ending!

It ruined the show for me, I feels weird watching it when I know that within the show, is not true because everything is actually the other way around.

I just try to pretend I never saw the last episode. It's hard though.

  • I know, this episode ruined everything. I'm like you and pretend that wasn't even part of the show.

  • None of its true anyway but I feel the same way you do. I have no more motivation to watch the show anymore is whats sad. Dan is dead.....so sad...

  • Why did she have to go and ruin it. I liked Dan alot he was very down to earth character. The deal with Darlene and Mark is stupid. I loved the show though. Then again it was the last episode, so I guess she did whatever she wanted with the story.

  • Yeah I can totally see Jackie as a lesbian.

  • She destroyed our minds w/ this episode. I love it. Totally unexpected. I would rather Dan had died than having him cheat on her. But Jackie being gay? I couldn't see it. And Becky being with David and Darlene with Mark confuses me.

  • I don't care what anyone says, the finale of this episode always brought me to tears. Dan...

  • same here

  • aww dan died?? aww he was my favorite.

  • when at what episode did he die

  • when he first got his heart attack

  • he didn't actually die in the show. he was only meant to die. but roseanne changed it. and she revealed that she changed it in the last episode. which is what you are watching. lol

  • this show was awesome!! But i hated this epi!!! so i pretend it never happed lol

  • i WiLL ALWAYS REMEMBER THiS SH0W!

  • I cried so hard when she said Dan died. All I could think about in the end was that she was all alone...

  • I'm watching re-runs of Roseanne on the CW! Truly an outstanding show! :)

    ~thewreckers12

  • Truly one of the best, and simultaneously depressing, series finales I've ever seen. I think it was probably the saving grace of the whole final season, which otherwise would've been seen as a jump the shark for the series.

  • i am so sad...every time i watch this...it makes me want to cry...this is truly, an outstanding show.

  • I cried.

    : ( :( :(

  • yet somewhat fake because of her altering of the story.

  • Just saw this, mega depressing

  • i cant believe dan dies.. i always cry my little heart out..

  • This episode always makes me sad. Especially when she reveals that she lost Dan. This is my favorite show and always will be! Hopefully there will be a Reunion soon!

  • It will be with Mark, since he died.

  • I hope they bring the show back. I would SO watch it! Please do it Roseanne!

  • they did bring it back, its on TV LAND.

  • this final episode ALWAYS makes me cry

  • To answer BryanNC08 and KMBKB. Everything was switched around. Basically she began writing her book around the time she got her basement office as a gift from Dan (early episodes). She wrote what she wantd n life She felt that in the book it would be better for David/Darlene and Mark/Becky when in actuality it was the other way around. She wrote that Jackie was straight when actuality she was a lesbian...like her mother. i think it's a fab ending. i have to say the best ever on any show!

  • i really wish they'd make one more episode...a "reuinion" episode like the andy griffith show did.

If you're like me, you grew up with Roseanne. As we age, so do they - and one day we're going to start hearing them passing away on the news one by one.

One more hoo-rah roseanne. One more HOo-Rah!

  • I read that she's talking with executives about starting Roseanne again, only it'll be 12-14 years (depending on how long until they film, if they do) from when the original ended. All she would say about it was that Roseanne lost her house and DJ was killed in Iraq. Everything else she wouldn't comment about.

  • Where did you read that?

  • this episode always makes me cry. lol

  • wait wheres jerry??

  • he's upstairs in the crib.

  • I thought the ninth season was justifiable especially the finale

  • It's left up to viewer interpretation. Some think that the series as a whole never existed, some think it existed once she got the typewriter.

It's left up for you to decide.

  • So did Fred exist? Did Jackies kid exist and did Roseannes youngest kid exist?

  • Very good question. I wish she would clear that up because that goes way back in the earlier episodes like when she was dating George Clooney on here. And did Becky really run of to marry Mark because Roseanne and Dan didn't like him? or was David? Or was it Darlene that ran off to marry Mark?Did Darlene and David do art together? Too many changes made.

  • I know I've been watching the whole season lately on TV land because I have no life now. It's confusing me. Why did her sister date those guys and have a kid if she was gay. Can someone clear this up for me.

  • in the show this was a whole story Roseanne was writing which was not fake but spiced up a bit... so Roseanne is writing about her life and in HER real life in the show the sis was a lesbian...

  • Comment removed

  • Oh man, every time I see this and she says the part about losing Dan I just start crying.

  • ya Dan's a great guy/father/dad/friend played well to by a great actor in John Goodman should'a won a award

  • I love this show so much. It was funny and heartfelt at the same time. It made me laugh one episode and then cry my eyes out the next. I loved it.

  • I loled. I always thought Mark and Darlene were better, and David and Becky went together :|

  • I cried when watching the last episode Dan was my favorite because he is like my dad a hard worker trying to take care of his family

  • Well i watched Roseanne for years. And one of the reasons the show was cancelled was because people stopped watching the show after they won the lottery. Because they just didnt seem like a good old american family anymore. People just couldn't relate to it anymore. So Roseanne does what only Roseanne can do. Tell everyone to kiss her ass by telling us in the last episode that the show was not real and she made us believe we were watching the real show.

  • Good point... Excellent point .. cause it was just mid america time family living pay check to pay check like everyone else. Having same family issues, problems, etc.

  • thats not what happened. rating dropped in season 7 and dan dying in season eight was supposed to be the finale. the network renewed for one last season to everyones suprise, and the horrid ninth season is the result
