  • I LEARNED THE SAME THING... From Master Oumry Ban at Khmer Kickboxing....

  • For the horizontal elbows i learned to roll my wrist across my chest..i feel how much more power i get..but still..am i doing it right?

  • GOOD. ONE MATE. WHAT A. HEAD OPENER THE ELBOWS. ARE

  • what is a pho?

  • I mean great ha

  • Greet tut

  • Wow, Donnie. You are my favorite instructor ever for Muay Thai. You're a phenom.

  • haha love the beavis and butt head reference. In all seriousness though Don I been watching a lot of your videos for the past week and I'm very impressed with all of them. Usually you'll watch a video online of some "mma" guys training techniques and it's just poor, but you really do express the old school muay thai techniques with a lot of passion, which is what true martial arts is all about, Looking forward to seeing more of the same, p.s i have now used muay thai with my wing chun, its great

  • @saltysack oooooo that sounds cool how u mix muay thai with wing chun?

  • dope vid definitely help with my form...just something random wat does donnie say at 1:44 to 1:47,thanx

  • Hey Donnie, any reason why when you started elbowing the bag, your strikes were flat? In the beginning of the video, you mentioned that a flat elbow was weaker than having it above your shoulder. Or was it that if you add driving force, the decrease in power is less significant.

    Awesome tutorial as always. Thnaks!

  • @whotookdonnierules , you should also show how to do it with left hand..

I am a southpaw.. The funny thing is, when ever i learn some new moves whether it be judo or striking, i have to record or download a video and edit it so its reversed. :[

  • MOAR!

  • Dude, I would never take you for someone who could move that fluidly and hit that hard based off your appearance. Guess not all of us have to shave our heads and tattoo up. :-P

Brilliant video. I'm looking at finding a Muay Thai gym in Arizona so hopefully I'll be throwing some elbows soon!

  • This method feels way better than the other dude's method i was watching. that wrist bending shit didn't feel right or safe.

  • The muscle is called the flexor carpi ulnaris, the bone is called the ulna. That was a brilliant explanation donnie!

  • /watch?v=S8b7b-KL1TM

  • @Ameerz14

give me evidence of a higher being. lol.

  • @Jaram1013 the fact that your alive you moron

  • @Ameerz14 Oh my god you sir are a clear retard. The first modern humans, Homo sapien, spaien are dated from 100,000 to 40,000 years ago. The archaic form, Homo sapien goes back 400,000 years. Basically we were formed by bacteria and prokaryotes. In other words, we are cosmic stardust from meteroids and rocks collding each off from space. Go back to high school biology you dropout retard. I also believe in the flying pasta god. Tell me why he is any different than your imaginary fairytale god.

  • @Jaram1013 u are clearly fucking stupid, give me evidence? seems like your the dumfuck who just read out of a bio book, believe everything you were told you fuckin sheep, open your mind and think for yourself ..BAAAA BAAAA... cosmic stardust thats stupidest thing IVE EVER HEARD...dust just evolved into organs and brains... im done talking to you stfu and enjoy the video

  • @Jaram1013 Lol random question

  • @streetdreamz210 I'll take that as a compliment!

  • @whotookdonnierules thats what it was ment to be :)

  • I'm a lefty... Now I'm a righty

  • Thank for the video, Love your stuff!!!!!!!!!! You just feed me for a week!!!!

  • i personally like if you explain more. i like the details

  • great stuff Donnie, im with Pholegit its been too long. =)

  • Good, this is how I've been throwing elbows because it made more sense to throw it this way but i never knew if I was doing it right. Nice to know I've been validated.

  • hey can you show the varous elbow angles and how you could use them on a boxser. also do I move into boxing range becuase when I spar with my friend he keeps giveing me low teeps to the front leg. I have a bit more boxing expernce then my friend hey leaves mean opening when I get to my disared range.

  • @lastrosenfeld yes you always move in range and best way to get him is 45 degree angles while doing so. boxers tend to circle. the 45 should be able to cut him off and help you close in and avoid getting hit rather then moving strait in. knees are a good mid range to close range elbows and as im dropping my leg down i tend to use that falling and moving foreword power for my elbow.

  • Thumbs up for the Beavis & Butthead reference.

Thumbs up if you think I'm a buttmunch for writing this.

  • Thats the perfect elbow technique :) I am also muay thai practicioner and I execute elwobws the same way

  • great :D keep these videos coming!

    good stuff.

  • @phoLegit I'll keep em coming only if your pho is legit. I live in San Jose, so I know my pho :)
