Im just gonna go ahead and say my thought on the country vs rap thing The whole idea that all country music is humbling and deep while rap is shallow perverted and degrading has either not listened to rap or is ignorant These are stereotypes Ive heard plenty of country songs that are shallow and I've heard plenty of rap thats deep and vice versa Songs can have any meaning the writer choose it to have No particular genre has one meaning Just listen to your music and be happy no need for ignorance

I understand your opinion but I personally have heard some none degrading rap music. And as of the other stuff I don't agree with it as well. I just think that their are some rap songs that aren't if you feel differently, I understand and personally it is hard to defend most rap music. And No if I had kids , I wouldn't want them to develop those values so I probably wouldn't let them listen to the songs that have inappropriate messages.

I will grant you one thing. I was wrong to say it's all about sex and money. Drugs, guns, and violence are also quite prominent. Please accept my apologies for that paticular oversight.

I'm no prude, but I do think an F-bomb in a song should be for a reason, a point of emphasis, not "just cuz"
