Is it possible to save your game on an ipod?

I've got Pokemon Silver running on my iPod using RockBoy, I was wondering...because mine is painfully slow and glitchy, if it is better to use linux like you have? Keeping in mind my iPod is 30gb 5th gen. What d'you think? Yours looks as if it is running in real time?...is it? Help would be appreciated! Thanks! :D

@DGMUSU YES, iBoy for iPodLinux is INCREDIBLY (100x) better than Rockboy. Look up ZeroSlackr on google and follow the instructions. Then delete as many things as you can besides the "Emulators" folder from opt/bin. And yes, iBoy runs in real time, but with Pokémon, I prefer to set it to 2x speed, which works GREAT. It's a beautiful thing, really. The sad thing is that it works MUCH better than the GB emulator designed for the iPod Touch. I'm so glad I discovered iBoy! Good luck!

@mechwarreir2 You simply TOUCH up(menu),down(play/pause),left­(rewind), and right(fast forward) on the scroll wheel. I set mine so that START is actually clicking the Fast forward button and SELECT is actually clicking the rewind button. The buttons are COMPLETELY customizable. Even the areas IN BETWEEN the buttons can act as emulator buttons. I.E. I can also touch the area between MENU and >> (fast forward) for the "A" button and between MENU and << (rewind) for the "B" button.

i got pokemon on rockbox. all u have to do is make a folder in the directory of the ipod and drop the rom folder in it and there u go. the version of pokemon i got i started with a mew and im fighting squirtles and charmanders.

you need:

a video ipod

a computer

visual boy advance

a computer recording tool

you film yourself playing a game, then put it on the ipod and watch :o

who needs linux :p
