  • Good lecture!

  • The configuration of Cr as [Ar] 4s1 3d5 is more stable than as [Ar] 4s2 3d4 due to its "more spherical" allocation near the nucleus. It's a rule for more stable configuration: "Configuration with half-completed p and d orbitals" and its the 3rd steadier configuration, after the "noble gas" and "completed p and d orbitals" configuration. (Sorry for my poor english :P)
