I'm a private lesson teacher and most of your tips are still so applicable. I find that empathy is the key for me. Not emotional involvement as you mentioned, but the ability to get inside their learning process and the ability to get excited about the small breakthroughs they have even if you've seen those same breakthroughs before. I really appreciate ALL of your videos. I am currently working toward my B.S.E. in Social Science. I start my "High School Observation Class" this coming semester. I'm really looking forward to it. Keep making videos. Your very informative for people, like myself, who have absolutely no hands-on experiences in the classroom setting.
