  • Hello! This is a very helpful video! I was wondering, when you mention the shimmer or glitter dust that you mix it with alcohol, liquor or flavoring then "squash it on your cake" do you brush it onto certain parts or do you mix it in with the icing before hand? I am asking because I have some of the same thing and I don't know how to use it. Thanks for your help and your beautiful cakes!!

  • hallo...thank you for watching...:) yes what you need to do is just mix the color with alchol and brush it onto your cake

  • Your videos are so awesome! I especially liked this video because I've been wondering about cake decorating supplies and how they are used. This video was very informative, thanks! Oh, and keep making videos when you have time because your very good at!

  • wah thank you so much :).i will make more video hihi hope you all will like it :)

  • I love your vids, they are just so fun. It was really neat to see your tools. Those are some BIG piping bags! I've never seen the star tip like those big plastic ones you showed. Are they for the big piping bags? Thank you for sharing!

  • hihi when i bought those tip they are sell in one plastic coming in those sizes eheh and yes they are match to the plastic piping bag, disposal piping bag, greesproof paper piping bag :) macth with any piping bags :).....

  • so cool to see all your stuff! Have you started making buttercream roses yet? that is my favorite thing to do. I think we have all the same tools - except I need to get my hands on one of those awesome patterned rollers - that would take my cupcakes to a whole new level, I do believe. do you ever cover your cupcakes in fondant?

  • hihi thank you :p

the rolling pin with the pattern it's the more expensive tool that i have :p but it is worth it :p mm i never use fondant to cover my cupcake because fondant it self doesn't taste that good :) so i just use fondant to make small pattern and put it on top of my buttercream like you did in your video ....hehe i haven't make the buttercream roses yet so hard T_T i even follow the wilton book but still so hard to do T_T *cry hard

  • Now I want to make a tool kit. You have alot of lovely tools. What recipe of buttercream do you use? I've used several recipes and they all end up too runny.

  • hhm, add less water and use some meringue powder. if it's still too runny, just add more confectioner's sugar!

  • Thanks for the tip, really appreciate it.

  • wah thank you mimzywhimzy :)......all this i use the wilton buttercream recipe but i don't have the merique powder that's why i usually use my own recipe :p

  • wah it is so surprise me i just upload it last night hehe now i have 4 comment mmuuaahhh love you all :p hehe.

mm i usually use buttercream recipes from wilton or else i make my own recipes of buttercream :p

  • We love you too :) I suscribed to your videos so that's why I knew you posted this one. I'm glad you made this video cause now everyone can see some of the tools you use for decorating cakes. It actually gave me an idea of the things I should buy when I want to start making somewhat professional cakes. I wanted to know , tho, when you use the molds for the fondant, do you let the fondant dry/harden in the mold or do you take it out while it's still soft?

  • hihi good questions :p hehe i usually take it out straight after i mold it :) but make sure u dust a bit of icing sugar or cornstarch to prevent fondant from sticking :).

  • Oh, ok. Thank you very much. I hope to see more of your videos. Take care and much love. :)
