  • I'm the muffin <3

  • such a peaceful voice.

  • This was my favorite song when I was a child.

  • 4 Ugly Guys Have no Heart

  • @deadmimewalking because it has meaning, you shitface

  • I think history proves he is only liberal. That is scary to many folk - freedom of thought or expression scares most people because they can't respond because their outlook is permanently frozen

  • How do you know that. Is That known of de people?

  • It's Operation Respect, which works with kids, not Operation Rescue, which is the right-wing anti-abortion terrorist organization.

  • your really sick .. you need help.... how sad !!!

  • He's done more good for the world than you may ever have dreamt of. I wish you the grace to change that.

  • Buonanotte a tutti.....

  • Es triste ver como un integrante de un grupo trata de hacer el trabajo de todos los otros. Nada como Peter, Paul and Mary. El resto da pena.

  • My 2 year old son loves Puff the Magic Dragon. He loves reading the book that was just recently put out. It makes my heart happy because Puff lives on in my son..and will continue to live on in his son. Puff still frolicks, even if it has to be without me. :0)

  • History is loaded with " monsters" who do good works . The 14 year old he molested is still paying for it to.

  • He took liberties with a 14 year old fan - true. He has paid for that indiscretion over and over. Now, do you know about the enormity of his human rights works and Operation Rescue; the fact that he marched on Selma with MLK and was one of the organizers of the historic March on Washington in 1969? What good have you done in your life?

  • I haven't heard this in a long time. It still makes me cry a little. Takes me back to a kid during simple times (I'm 37 now). When you see those little kids singing along & the adults singing & smiling as if they were kids again. Only then do u start to feel the magic of the song.

  • Peter's voice is still no any change trough all these years!

  • Still timeless...

  • This is truly a great song!!...Still my fav song in the 2007 book peter yarrow and lenny lipton(who is the man who wrote puff the magic dragon as a poem the peter yarrow made into the great song we all love today) the 2007 book as a happy ending where they show a little girl playing with Puff, With Jackie paper looking from beyond a tree as a adult, telling ever1 that it is jackie papers little daughter that he brought to be puff's new friend....brought a tear 2 my eye

  • i wanna see that

  • Look it up on Wikipedia or Snopes. The poem existed years before Peter Yarrow wrote the song.

  • 3 years to be exact.

  • Still timeless.

  • -,-...

  • Thank you so much for posting this. I cried so much when I listened to it. I'd actually completely forgotten about this song as I hadn't heard it in perhaps over 25 years when I saw the cartoon. It's really a song for adults - I never saw any meaning to it before, only loved it as a beautiful song. But now, I am almost stunned by how deep and sad it is, but still so lovely.

  • you heard that people!

PUFF NEVER TOOK A PUFF! the writer of this song said it himself! so stop putting comments that this is about drugs

  • Beautiful!! The three of them made it a classic, but seeing Peter doing it solo somehow brings it down to Earth. I wish I'd been there.

    Moosie

  • its not the same without mary & paul

  • I could never sing this song, and can hardly stand to listen to it - I always felt so sorry for Puff.

  • just like me

  • I mean - I can't sing this song either, without crying. Embarrasing since I'd like to sing it to children. :-((

  • just by looking at his face, and listening to the song it does make you cry

  • FINALLY! Thank you Peter! I can now enjoy this song as innocently as it was intended! 5*

  • proof that the losers that made up that rumor about this song are full of shit

  • May my family sleep well..........

  • This is a song about the tragedy of lost hair and a bloke that looks like groucho marx

  • im only ten this is still sad

  • "Has a bit of a cry, then sings along"

  • Damn where have I been? That brings back so many things.

  • is it just me but it seemed like life was so much simplier back then..if we can only go back..

  • gndzroirnwkr - it may seem like it was simpler then. Remember, however, the "police action called Vietnam", a presidential assassination, the major onset of the nuclear family, instead of having family connection -

Please keep the good memories of that 1950s and '60s. Don't forget the tragedies which brought about wonderful songs like this.

    Peace and joy to all.

  • sorry all those events happened way before i was even thought of.i spent 51 nights doing body recovery at ground zero...i know how truely important, life and love towards your fellow countrymen is...recovery by hand..recovery with respect..ground zero ironworkers..love all ..justice will come..

  • god bless you my brother from your family in the uk

  • thank you from all of my ironworker friends, who spent time at the pile....
