It's interesting that at 5000 rpm, you do about 46 in 1st, 92 in 2nd, 149 in 3rd, and 182 in 4th. That means that at 7000 rpm, it's about 64, 128, 208, 254 top speed in the respective gears (if you could get to 254 speedo in 4th, which is probably impossible, since the power peaks at about 5500 rpm). That's crazy cool, still.
0-180 in 23 seconds with short shifting from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to 3rd. Good job. It reminds me of my old Lexus LS400 (1994). It had a 4-speed AT and the gears were approx. 88, 145, 226 and 305 (if you could find a hill steep and long enough - I did 264) SPEEDO kph. Driving uphill in 3rd gear at 226 speedo kph was great. The car had a WONDERFUL feature that at ANY speed, the speedo showed precisely 3 kph more, not like most cars that show more and more than the reality as you accelerate.
Your boost seems to be a bit low? Should be just below the red on an Aero 9000. They say you need to adjust the "base boost" once you install a low restriction exhaust.
If that's an aero version, i'd be interested to see if my elksport tuned version of 2.0 ecopower lpt is as quick/faster from low rev start - see video response. :-) no matter result - great cars!
Too early??? If you chase the engine higher you will wreck it! Apart from that charged SAAB engines have very good power (force) especially in the middle RPM!
top BHP is at 5500 rpm so that shift is fine. Some like to run it out to the redline to get the rpms higher into second but both ways seem to work well.

jeepevo i have 2 9000 and the needle does go into the red for a sec when u accelerate.its called overboost..and the metals inside the engine can handle more power than the 220hp of the aero..and when those cars where produced they where among the fastest in the category,if not the fastest
for saabs the turbo isn't supposed to go in the red b/c red means too much boost, and unless it's after market it can't handle any more then up to 15psi. te turbos that come stock on saabs are like the size of a small grapefruit
viggenxfiles: yeah :) there were some issues like a little crash :) but this wont affect performance luckily :) Now everything works great,even SRS...
Had one of those as a replacement car for a few days, had A LOT of fun with it, awesome engine! Btw, those issues on the left side were also present on mine :-D

its not fake, well at least its easy enough for the car to do it.
i had an 87 9000 Turbo and i could get 180+km/h, though it was a bit worn down and took a bit of a run up hahah.
Check my vids if you want to see what happens when a 9000 has an electrical fire in the dash.

u begun with 2rd speed, it cant go 110 with the 2rd at 6000rpm. unless u change speed from the 1st directly to the 3rd
