  • :57 Pimp my ride first!!!! Loaded Wheelchair LOL!

  • what year was this?

  • he has a GREAT voice and that was an amazing way to end a show, he needs to start doing more stand up again

  • Man, that's how you close a show. Haven't seen this in years. Sitll one my all-time favorites.

  • why is he not more famous?

  • I just heard the EJ version and remembered this from a hundred years ago. Damn, this STILL cracks me UUUP! I remember the bit about Freddy being a water pipe and an ego too, gotta find that next! LOL!

  • he is so underrated

  • I think the other one he did wit the prince jokes and the mj jokes is here look up "Tommy Davidson - Musical Impressions" its not the full show though just part of it.

  • Tommy Davidson Jr, the BEST UNDERATED COMEDIAN EVER.

  • Mr. Ain't to proud to beg, is work'n it!

  • Tommy was the shit back in the days

  • i like how this is 116 people like so far, no dislikes. :)

  • Tommy knows how to work a crowd and a great crowd Philly is!

  • lol watch?v=R02tbrZSO3I

  • what year is that?

  • great message at the end

  • At my local comedy club, everyone dresses casual to sloppy but I noticed that in all these comedy specials (especially from the early 90's), almost everyone is dressed up. Almost looks like they just came from church or something. LOL

  • 3:51 to 4:50. Heaven on earth.

  • Never seen that before. That was some funny stuff!

  • White people upo front just clappin to the beat and all the black people sing the tune

  • A Comedic Music Concert....He Goes HArd!!!

  • He can sing real goo...^.^... I liked the audiance co-operation, it would have sucked if there were hecklers 8]...

  • while I agree with every man that was cast in Kings of Comedy film should have been there, they were missing a few, Davidson and Murphy just to name a couple

  • @chargeNkill

Eddie Murphy had quit Stand up round the time of KoC, but Davidson should have been there, I agree. DL Hughley, particulary his insulting the audience appearance, and making them uncomfortable, would have ruled him out in my book. That's lazy, not funny. Cedric the entertainer should change his name to Cedric. There were a few who shoulda been there, and Davidson is one of them.

  • @yellowcougar18 haha, that bit about cedric made me laugh

  • I feel bad for the white guy

  • @BeYAWNsay come on he was planted! ;D

  • wish i could buy his dvds funniest comedian..i love his rocky

  • Classic

  • The way that Tommy had his eyes up his head at 2:16 kinda scared me, but made me laugh at the same time. Also, his rendition of Elton John's "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues". No doubt that Tommy's a unintentionally good singer. Funny and talented.

  • "my mother is a liar my house cought on fire someone slash my tires and i just got fired thats the blues" lol

  • wow i'm a youngin but i remember when this came out... I was like in the second or third grtade but I am a huge fan of this

  • Damn Tommy is so talented. Definately one of the best! I laughed through the whole show, which is not an easy task.

  • Yes. I see alot of his act in comedians that came after him like Martin Lawrence and Jamie Foxx

  • Definitely..

  • I love the ending of the video. " Change what's bad to good like the black community should." :-)

  • Fucking love Tommy Davidson. Pissed that I missed him out here. Much thanks for puttin' this up.

  • this is one of the best crowds i've ever seen lol

  • What Stevie Wonder song is that?

  • "Sir Duke"...

  • Thanks.

  • stevie impression is on point

  • stevebella, thanks for the upload. Classic.

  • has anyone ever seen tommy davidson 'on the strength in new york'..it was like i think 96, on showtime...it was sooo funny!!! and i cant find it ANYWHERE!..if anyone finds it, they should post it on here

  • Comment removed

  • This Special was too short it shouldv'e been longer

  • Breakfast cereals, Prince, and Michael Jackson were on another standup, not Philly.

  • Umm this is not the whole show. He did some stuff about breakfast cerials, prince and a bunch of other stuff about michael jackson. I gotta find the whole video!

  • ow how old is this vcr and 8track

  • this was 1992 I remember because me and my sister stayed up and watched this in the summer I think it was in July. still funny today

  • I like how he got the whole audience involved. Good comedians always do that.

  • what song was he impersonating when he was wearing the glasses

  • Its called Master Blaster by Stevie Wonder

  • no, it's sir duke not master blaster.

  • haha when this came out I still hadn't heard "Sir Duke" or the Elton John song he was referencing

  • I didn't know the elton john song either. i'm guilty. but i love it that song though.

  • I meant i love it now though.

  • u gon dance us a jig tonight

  • where's the part where he sings with teh imaginary banjo and other musical instruments?

  • McDonalds was on the DC stand up ..that was a great one too .

  • great finish!

  • "Youre gonna get a 50,000 dollar wheelchair" LOL!

  • Where the heck is the clip of him talking about McDonald's? That sh*t is funny!!

  • That must have been on another standup... I dont think McDonalds was on the Philly Standup

  • Maybe it was on the HBO special or something. Wish I could find it

  • It was on Robert Townsends "Partners In Crime Part 4" I think. On HBO in the early 90's.

  • @stevebella Takin' It to DC

  • That's what I was lookin for! When he did Prince OMG that was the funniest! "Got around the corner and looked in the bag...she forgot my mutha$%#@& fries!!!"

  • @datgrlstef it was his dc special... philly was the 2nd one he did the first was dc then he did nyc.

  • @datgrlstef watch?v=qTR2oYOmQKA&feature=related

    watch?v=qTR2oYOmQKA

  • starting at 4:08, there is a single white guy with a mustache in the front row who seems TOTALLY lost. it's pretty hilarious.

  • Thanks for posting? I wish somebody out there would post "On the Strength." Funny shit!

  • Man I felt bad for the white guy. Tommy reemed him out the whole show.

  • Oh I forgot to mention..I love when you do Mike McDonald and Al Jareau too! You Rock Tommy!

  • Tommy Davidson is so entertaining...a real classy guy that knows how to be funny without all the swearing...He's truly one of my favorites..he's soooooo multi talented! LOVE YOU TOMMY!

  • I like that guy in the white T-shirt standing up at the very end .. he was rollin' throughout the whole show LOL thnx for posting
