I just heard the EJ version and remembered this from a hundred years ago. Damn, this STILL cracks me UUUP! I remember the bit about Freddy being a water pipe and an ego too, gotta find that next! LOL!
I think the other one he did wit the prince jokes and the mj jokes is here look up "Tommy Davidson - Musical Impressions" its not the full show though just part of it.
At my local comedy club, everyone dresses casual to sloppy but I noticed that in all these comedy specials (especially from the early 90's), almost everyone is dressed up. Almost looks like they just came from church or something. LOL
while I agree with every man that was cast in Kings of Comedy film should have been there, they were missing a few, Davidson and Murphy just to name a couple
Eddie Murphy had quit Stand up round the time of KoC, but Davidson should have been there, I agree. DL Hughley, particulary his insulting the audience appearance, and making them uncomfortable, would have ruled him out in my book. That's lazy, not funny. Cedric the entertainer should change his name to Cedric. There were a few who shoulda been there, and Davidson is one of them.
The way that Tommy had his eyes up his head at 2:16 kinda scared me, but made me laugh at the same time. Also, his rendition of Elton John's "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues". No doubt that Tommy's a unintentionally good singer. Funny and talented.
has anyone ever seen tommy davidson 'on the strength in new york'..it was like i think 96, on showtime...it was sooo funny!!! and i cant find it ANYWHERE!..if anyone finds it, they should post it on here
Umm this is not the whole show. He did some stuff about breakfast cerials, prince and a bunch of other stuff about michael jackson. I gotta find the whole video!
That's what I was lookin for! When he did Prince OMG that was the funniest! "Got around the corner and looked in the bag...she forgot my mutha$%#@& fries!!!"
Tommy Davidson is so entertaining...a real classy guy that knows how to be funny without all the swearing...He's truly one of my favorites..he's soooooo multi talented! LOVE YOU TOMMY!
