  • Wow, I was looking for a "reason for the season" video clip for my facebook page tomorrow and I believe I find the right one! What a wonderful song! Truly a meaningful song! Thank you for making and sharing this Video clip~ God;s Bessings....Merry Christmas~

  • thank you

  • love it

  • Awesome song! Thanks, Mike!!!!!

  • Hey, JeevesReturns...... i cant just sit here and let u talk about my Lord like that. So what i will do is pray. that's right.... pray for you, so u can turn to Jesus. and i am not the one to judge- there is a higher one who will do that, but- just know that I will pray for u.

  • Jeremiah 10:1-4 1 Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: 2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. 3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. 4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

  • My mom used to play with him!

  • Not to mention that not only is there no proof that this jesus person ever did what they say, but the fact (FACT) is that he would not have been born in the winter. It's a date chosen by the Vatican to override a pagan holiday. Reason for the season? Yah.... don't even know what season you're talking about.

  • Wonderful song and slides, but you know what makes Christians wonderful people, is that we are a forgiving people even you JeevesReturns

  • if the reason for the season is not all this material stuff (ie candy canes and santa) then why do the only images you show contain them??? bad video. for an amazing song. conflicted props.

  • Christians always have an out for anything that they can't explain. What a great concept.

  • it's funny how it's you christians who condemn everybody else, but think u're exempt because you live by a book.

I'll see you in hell darling~

  • We do not condemn anyone. God does. It is by his son's death and ressurection that we may live by belief in him alone.

  • so cause we're Christians, we can't retaliate against faithless people? okay...sorry to bother you with my stupid book-talk - enjoy your little celebration of the sun and seasons

  • I enjoy suckers such as yourself believing in fairy tales , slappin' your hands on people's heads and saying "You're healed!", dancing with snakes, "speaking in tongues" and kneeling down in front of a statue of a guy nailed to a piece of wood. You don't believe in as much as you were taught and told to believe. If it were all really true don't you think that it would manifest itself in your Consciousness all on it's own?

  • i'm not going to judge you. but one person will. and you just stuffed him in a drawer.

  • The only thing that I've stuffed in a drawer is the nonsensical notion that christianity is correct in it's thinking. Seriously... do you believe all of that crap? Lot's wife turning to salt? God writing on stone tablets? This is simply allusion to an intended belief system. It's brainwashing in it's most ancient form. Think for yourself. If "god" is so powerful then why do children die in wars? Oh, I'm sure that you have a silly answer for that one. "Free will" or some such flakey answer.

  • Jeeves - if you would free your mind of all these stereotypes of Christianity, you would realize that Christians do not consider every story of the Bible as events that actually took place. Many of them are parables, and they each teach us a vital lesson about humanity and our endless search for the answer to God's mystery/the meaning of our existence. I do not believe Lot's wife really turned into salt - that is a lesson on disobedience.

  • @filmmaker787 i totally agree..great explanation..:D:D

  • children die in war because life happens. i don't know why you consider free will a flakey answer. would you rather God intervene in our lives and control our actions like chess pieces? we are given free will so we can make choices, create our own lives and affect the events that will ultimately take place in our world. what better answer do you want? or will you constantly live with the mindset that we have nothing to place hope in? that we live in a dark, merciless world?

  • Now months later... I can bet you're an Obama supporter

  • I'll bet you are right about that one Ricardovfusa!

  • December 25th isn't specifically anyone's "birthday" of historic legend and myth. The day was picked by the church to undermine a Pagan holiday celebrating the Goddess of Nature on the same day. As to when this person was born there's a great deal of conjecture. If shepherds are feeding their herd it couldn't have been December because, with Middle-Eastern winters there would be nothing to graze on in that region. "Reason for the season"? Um... no, but if makes you feel warm and fuzzy go for it

  • I agree, the real reason for the season is to celebrate the rebirth of the sun, and the renewal of the seasons, not the birth of a particular man.

  • your ignorance and contempt is laughable. you're the reason michael schroeder wrote this song. who CARES if jesus' birthday was in august, we chose this day to celebrate God's immortal gift to our mortal world - Jesus. The fact that you're so bogged down by the details of his actual birthday is really sad. Go ahead, celebrate your seasonal renewals. Meanwhile, the rest of us will be celebrating one of the most glorious moments in the history of this world.

  • yea, happy holiday to you too!

    blessed be :)

  • I agree with you man. :)

  • "We chose to celebrate..."? Pope Julius I. decided to make it that day for reasons stated above. YOU had nothing to do with it. I'm so blogged down with details? Yeah, you're right... wouldn't want any facts getting in the way and mudeling things up or any such nonsense. I'm Ignorant? Pure projection on your part. I think for myself. You are the one who blindly follows the nonsensical ramblings of people who lived long after these alleged events. Happy solstice!

  • and a happy solstice to you too, buddy

  • hey jeeves, get me some wine and bread on a platter. thanks.

  • Shut your mouth, and I pray that God may open both of your eyes to the truth.

  • gave u a thumbs up :)

  • Are you a Christian? If not, shut up.

  • Anyways, it is a very slim chance that Jesus was born on December 25. A Christian king long ago proclaimed that day be kept to celebrate the birth of our savior. Tradition passed down and here we are. :)

    God Bless!

  • i live him so much! my mom used to play keyboard and sing woth him god bless

  • my mom's his cousin! hahaha what's up indirectly connected person?

  • He came to my church last week. :]

    He did an excellent job.

  • Michael you are awesome----come back to Deltona soon!!!!!!!!!!

  • WONDERFUL
