@MrChach1ng I would humbly suggest that any religion, wether of our time or those long past, are imposed from birth, not from reason or choice. Essentially, your religion is assigned to you. If you were bornin Karachi, chances are you would be a muslim. If born in Italy, a catholic. I simply find that beliefs which are based on the geography of one's birth are not beliefs. They are simplistically direct results of one's surroundings and all that goes along with it.

Analogies are better served by the realization that the Ankh also symbolizes the ebb and flow of the nile and the floods and droughts. This help was in his great design, though. They arent wishing ill will on or throwing their heavenly favor in others faces but thanking their Creator for allowing them to continue on their journey well. Others are chosen to be harmed or hurt or killed sooner than others. If you were bornin Karachi, chances are you would be a muslim. If born in Italy, a catholic. I simply find that beliefs which are based on the geography of one's birth are not beliefs. They are simplistically direct results of one's surroundings and all that goes along with it.

Analogies are better served by the realization that the Ankh also symbolizes the ebb and flow of the nile and the floods and droughts. I think the possibility of of indefinite existence is a potential and many reputable scientists agree. so perhaps my choice of the phrase "Eternal Life" was a poor one.

This help was in his great design, though. They arent wishing ill will on or throwing their heavenly favor in others faces but thanking their Creator for allowing them to continue on their journey well. Others are chosen to be harmed or hurt or killed sooner than others. That's sad, but its a part of life that no one can avoid we can only hope to delay it long enough to enjoy happiness, make a difference, help make others happy or guide people, (and possibly some less noble things for some ppl).

This is a human trait like its a Godly trait. That's not saying that God is evil or imperfect or I'm giving him human characteristics, but He did create humans in his image. That being so maybe its that I'm not giving God human characteristics but giving Humans Godly characteristics. Although without even using this as a variable, Christians aren't always asserting that theyre favored (some are), but they are saying that It was God's will for them to overcome a hardship. Thar's because that's not what all Christians are saying when they say that God helped them. First of all God may well favor some people over others. This is something evident in most relationships including parent and child. It's natural. Some people say that they don't favor others, but that's untrue.

i personally disagree with her. i'm athiest, but if one of my friends says "god really helped me in that time of my life" or "god helped me find money to pay this bill", why am i going to complain? if they think that god helped them, what proof do i have that he did or did not? its their personal belief and it doesn't affect me.
