  • Holy shit 20-30k for a watch?

  • song?

  • name of the song?

  • Patek are the finest but Im not a fan of their models, If only they looked like Breguet they would be perfect. Breguet looks better Patek is best.

  • DAT DERE PATEK

  • I think those who say PPs are way over priced are timex lovers.

  • yup, OVER-PRICED

  • beautyfull

  • here they make it looks like QUALITY and long TIME ))

  • This video is remarkably similar to the one of Vostok production! The main difference being the absence of hand finishing on Vostok watches. Pateks hold each position for the top one hundred most expensive watches ever sold.

  • ANTONI PATEK WAS BORN IN POLAND AND WAS POLISH. Antoine? LOL hahaha. French have no one important beside mentally retarded Napoleon so they call any valuable people french.

Same with Chopin, Same With Madame Marie Curie. ALL OF THEM WERE POLISH PEOPLE.

Biggest World War 2 PUSSIES and Thieves. Overruned now by unarmed apes from middle east. Stop Stealing our noble people chesse-eating pussies.

  • @RobertJest1 You're one grand retard!! The swiss watch industry has mostly French origins (The French Wars of Religion:1562-1598). The war ended as King of France proclaimed the Edict of Nantes, many of French Huguenots had left France fleeing religious persecution and took refuge in Geneva, and many of these refugees were clock/ watch makers. Winding watches were invented by Adrien Philippe, one of the founders of Patek Philippe watch company in 1842.

  • @RobertJest1 con't...Chopin's father, Nicolas Chopin, was a Frenchman from Lorraine who immigrated to Poland in 1787 at the age of sixteen. Are you saying the Poles did any better in WW2? You are one ignorant piece of shit! Nobody ever said Marie Currie was French, she was married to physicist Pierre Currie, a pioneer in crystallography, magnetism, piezoelectricity and radioactivity, and Nobel laureate. Napoleon strategies of wars are still being taught in military academies around the world...

  • @RobertJest1 Let me think what the Poles are known for?...Humm...basically not a fucking thing!! last 400 years Poles have been repeatedly ass fucked by the Russians, the Prussians and then the Austrian Habsburg through a series of invasions that took a few days...then finally they surrendered to the Nazi and were ass fucked by them for a few years, and then again the Russians ass fucked them for 70 years until somebody in Poland land decided to wave a flag at the Russians!! Hilarious!!

  • @ellebal1111 Although I'm not French, i'd rather live in France any days rather then soviet Poland...I'd shut the fuck up about other nations if I were you Pussy fuck pole!

  • @ellebal1111

French whores DID NOTHING IN WW2 you canadian fag (Canada? What is that? You speak french and you are canadian? What the fuck this is? Who is native canadian? LOL YOU ARE MIX OF EUROPEAN CUM BITCH).

Chopin, copernicus and Marie Cure were Polish and you pussy can do nothing about it. You cant change it ass fucked twat. POLISH KING JAN SOBIENSKI WON AGAINST MUSLIM WHORES IN BATTLE OF VIENNA AND SAVED EUROPE FROM SAVAGE HORDES FROM EASTERN DESERTS. Lern some history pussy.

  • @RobertJest1 Yep! You are a first class retard!! Where is Poland anyways!? It look like Pole has been a football kicked around by Europe over the century...Ha Ha I find this so funny I'm rolling on the floor!! They woke up one morning and say"lets kick the shit of Poland today" they invaded your retarded country and then left to go back to sleep!! This is so funny! With all these invading armies coming and going taking over your dumb country... do you know what nationality you really are??!

  • @RobertJest1 Napoleon entered Warsaw in Poland in 1807 and French eagles soared over the Vistula. The Emperor was hesitant about reenacting the Kingdom of Poland. In spite of the ovations given him by the Poles, he wrote: "Only God can deal with these idiots" But it was not long before the Duchy of Warsaw became a bastion of France in central and Eastern Europe, and Polish troops stood ready to fight for Napoleon & independence. French Marshal "Davout supervised the creation of the Polish army."

  • @RobertJest1 (Esposito, Elting - "A Military History and Atlas of the Napoleonic Wars.") The war in 1807 against Russia and Prussia was called by the French the "First Polish War" and resulted in the formation of the Polish state. In 1812 France, in an attempt to gain increased support from Polish nationalists, termed the war against Russia the "Second Polish War." Pole provided the most troops by any of the states allied with France. LOL! You should look at your genealogy...you're French!!!

  • @RobertJest1 Army of Duchy of Warsaw "Poland is the only country in the world

to invoke Napoleon and France in its national anthem." historytoday com

The Poles were "France's staunchest allies" - George Nafziger, US military historian

talk about putting your big foot in your mouth!! Poland should speak French today...I never had so much fun! I can't wait for your retarded reply!!

  • Comment removed

  • @RobertJest1 I forgot Poland was also ass fucked by Napoleon's French Armies!!! I'm rolling on the floor laughing!!! There probably not a country Poland did not loose or surrendered to!! What a grand retard you are! next time shut the fuck up!! Or just don't mention you're a pussy footed, koubassa eating Polish retard...

  • @RobertJest1 Gen. Krasinski who commanded the Polish lancers ... came forward with his officers. As he took his leave of the French Emperor he uttered these words, which do the greatest credit to his nation: sire, if you had mounted the throne of Poland, you would have been killed upon it; but the Poles would have died at your feet to a man." LOL!! The French made Poland what it is! Including the Napoleonic code which Poland still use today... Ungratefull retard!!

  • @RobertJest1 I'm from the US so I don't care. But Poland got kicked around to the curve by just about everyone in Europe. No offense but your stereotype is of "dumb people" and after reading your post I couldn't agree more.

  • @willwork4superpowazz

And the stereotype of typical American is enormous fat whore, with greasy face, down syndrome look like and McDonalds secret sauce instead of brain. Your ass got kicked by unarmed apes in afganistan and little vietnamesse.

That "dumb pole" is full-time physician and anytime I want I can come to your fuckin country and do 400k dollars peer year as a anesthesiologist while you got 5 dollas peer hour taking orders in taco-bell you brainsless FUCKTARD.

  • @RobertJest1 Hahaha, Americans are generally dumb and fat, like I said I am from here but only residing here (Manhattan, NY). Technically I'm German, born in Berlin and raised till 6 there. So I guess you failed yet again with that retort, I agree with you, and even they being as they are... don't wanna sound harsh, but poles are below Americans by far. But you, the polish don't exactly help yourself with your stereotype, example? you ;) "Fucktard" hahaha little kid? or a 40 year old virgin HAHA

  • I own a necklace with the original Calatrava cross. Its a beautiful gold and silver necklace from Italy with a wonderful meaning behind it. Every time i look at it ill remember the meaning of the four triads to keep me moving forward. The Calatrava cross is a perfect symbol im glad they used it.

  • I would love to hear about the company's viewpoint on the new 3D printer technology and how it might affect the high-end watch industry.

  • Comment removed

  • Looks like a good investment... could be wrong... could be right.

  • Looks like a year to make a single watch and only 10 seconds for some bonehead to rob it off you

  • One day maybe ill own one of these but untill then my cheap reliable little rotary will do.

  • @muslimhunterFTW I collect clocks and watches. Last year I was at my watchmaker, he has over 35 years experience, and somebody asked him what he thought of Rotary. His opinion was that at any price point the Rotary is about the best quality watch movement and case to be had. I have my Dad's circa 1955 rotary and it's still going strong and is a presentable watch.

  • God they always make putting on the second hand look so easy in these things!

  • It's all about priorities. Whats important to you, what you truly appreciate and what really is your passion. I have a friend who absolutely loves their wine- they spend sums far more than I ever would to indulge their passion, have a collection and all- to me, that is not important. I love watches, and he wears a Swatch- if I had the money for a Ferrari, I'd first spend it on a Patek or VC, before spending it on a car. Watches make my heart beat faster, not cars, so it makes sense to me.

  • nice

  • The perfect gentleman's watch... Patek Philippe 5116G. Elegant and stylish, yet not too flashy, unlike other timepiece makers whose names I will not mention.

  • Time is truly Valuable!

  • :D i was pay 40 000 dollars cash for a patek watch

  • why would u buy a watch for like $10,000...? it's a freakin watch...

  • @starstarhi Youre talking more $100,000 for a complicated one.

  • @IdontneedanIpod even better... :/

  • @IdontneedanIpod Why would pay any more than $30,000 for a brand new car, every other car whether it be a ferrari and a 1/4 mil to a bugatti and 1.5 mil they do the same thing. Except the cars will (with few exceptions) go down in value. One of these watches tend to hold their value or go up in value.

  • @MrArd92 Yeah I mean If its a popular/discontinued model you can double your money in a year!

  • @starstarhi Patek Philippe may cost even 1,5 million dollars, yeah, that's right baby - one and a half million dollars.

  • @starstarhi Why buy a Ferarri? It's a freakin car. A Ford Escort will carry you from point A to point B. Why buy a Gibson Les Paul? It's a freakin guitar. A cheap Chinese made guitar will do the same thing. Why buy a ....get my point? There are some in this world who want the best that can be bought, and this watch is no different. And $10,000 you say? Ah, the watch being made here goes for a cool $150,000.

  • @thedreamliner2012 haha yeah i getcha ;) thanks :)

  • @starstarhi Pateks are more than that at least 20k

  • i have no words to describe my reaction. only thing i can say is - I WANT THIS WATCH. :)

  • This is very well made. It really captures the essence of what goes into a time piece of this quality. I kind of chuckle at the delicate touch it requires and the stability you must possess to do this kind of work. I play guitar, so my finger tips are just one large calluss. Plus, I am enjoy iron working. My skin is like I am weraing leather gloves. No way I could do this.

  • FANTASTIC now i know why Switserland did not want to join the EU and the EURO

  • Simply breath taking. They have to be the most elegant watches in the world. Simply the best. I love Patek Philippe.

  • This watch is better looking than all those starving Africans anyway.

  • @Corbon440 lolwut

  • Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet and Rolex are one of a few luxury watch companies which are still family owned.

  • Heh, pretty beautiful

  • I want a job there! Wearing a suit and polishing watches.... My dream job

  • aaaanh but cant beat, casio fw91 orange

  • what's the name of the song? It's so beautiful

  • In my opinion a man should work hard & save up, no matter what his job to earn the right to wear one of these beautiful time pieces on his wrist, new or pre owned. Its the art & craftsmanship that makes them so special not the cost. They are the best watch makers in the world & I dream of owning a patek one day.

  • @snowstuff100 I own 4, including the 5016 in both platinum and rose gold, the Nautilus 5980 and 5719/1. If you do one day purchase one, you'll experience the excellence of the build and the incredible finish Patek Philippe delivers. Cheers :-)

  • It is an effective promo video by Patek Philippe, but I think fan and review based watch videos like I (on the aBlogtoRead channel) and other people do are better for enthusiasts.

  • IMHO, Tag Heuer is now the King of Swiss watchmaking complications. The in-house TAG 500 Hz Mikrotimer mechanical movement measures 1/1,000th of a second. It is amazing!

  • @LutherPenndragon Comparing TAG to Patek is a bit too much don't you think?

  • @LutherPenndragon I love Tag Heuers and would probably own one over a PP even if I had the money for the latter, but as far as prestige goes, Tag Heuer isn't even close to PP or Vacheron Constantin. Those two really are are the royalty of watchmakers.

  • @LutherPenndragon Never mind, after watching this video I changed my mind. If I had the money I'd definitely go for the Patek Philippe (as well as the TH of course)

  • God so much animosity!!! The fact is that all these starving people are only starving because of all you do good people. Think about it. The population in Africa was maintained at a rate that could sustain itself for thousands of years. Then all these mostly white, guilt ridden people turn up and try to make it all better. Yeah, there is famine and disease. But that, ladies and gents is natures way of controlling the population. Flu, plague, aids.. it's population control.

  • Beautiful Video.

  • If everyone would choose to simply live and let live the world would be a much greater place and the suffering of many would end. Not buying an expensive watch will not end the worlds problems, but not judging someone for buying one would contribute greater to ending the worlds problems. We have to stop judging one another, we have to look within ourselves and live life without hate, envy, greed or jealousy. If everyone around the world stops hating people just because of what they have, the wo

  • @sonikastudios What is pathetic is your view of the world you selfish idiot. It's VERY easy to say "learn to be happy with what you have" when your mouth is full, your bed is warm and the fuel tank in your Mercedes isn't even quarter empty. Tell that to the children in Africa who haven't eaten in days you moron. Not so easy, is it? Also I don't see the problem of charity compared to spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on luxury items. Yes different levels-you understand much less obviously

  • i have one of the base plates off a un finished watch

  • Notice how none of the board directers at 1:30 can affored one

  • @AreaCodeProduction or the fact there not aloud to where there watches in to the factory

  • @djscottdog1 Or they are so noisy they cannot find them.

  • The rich people who can easily spend 5 figures on a watch like this and forget about it are probably a lot happier than the average person bitching about how it's a waste of money. When you have $20M, 20K is nowhere near a waste of money. It's easy cash to spend. They don't spend it cause they're morons - they do so because they can. Why are people so bitter about the advancement of the elite?

  • @sonikastudios are you retarded or are you retarded? why the fuck would i not be angry about people spending 20k on a watch when there's people starving to fucking DEATH on the other side of the world. how about you get your head out of your fucking ass and start thinking about others as well. it's because of thinking the way you are that this world is such a fucked up place

  • @cirocar First of all if you understand the subtleties of the world economy, the financial structure, you'll understand that by rich people spending money on charity instead of luxury items will do virtually nothing to help the starvation, at least not in the long term. Obviously you & I have different levels of understanding. The simple man's answer is "direct that money elsewhere". The learned man will realize how futile the concept of sharing is. Wealth is real, and luxury is real... deal.

  • @cirocar Ok, I'm not quite sure how to put this... But let's start with the basics, the people who buy watches such as these (i.e Patek/VC(exception: ROO), A. Lange Söhne, etc) do not purchase them because of the fact that they're 'expensive' but because they are wonderfull timepieces, something which a non-watch enthusiast will not be able to grasp. Spending 20k on a watch gives money to your government, the swiss government, several workers from different nations and their governments.

  • @Danne9000 And is not only the wealth effect and multiplicator in question. Also it is a share of the same vision. Vision of details and knowledge. The same vision is used in different areas of craft and sciences. Details make progress. It is the same basic quality that is embedded in all things/applications worth their true and not only nominal value. The whole principle of knowledge and persistance, love and vision is represented in this watch. Money comes second.

  • @cirocar Which is then partly spent, partly donated, which gives more money to more workers, etc etc... It also seems as though you live under the assumption that rich people who buy watches such as these do not (directly or indirectly) donate money to charity. This is a pretty weird assumption as I'm quite sure most whealthy people donate money to various charities and causes. I think you should be mad at your government instead of whealthy individuals. But hey, to each his own.

  • @sonikastudios 1) I'm not sure what you're reffering to by "The advancement of the elite"? Nor do I think the term "elite" is correct as money is no measurement of neither skill nor intellect. 2) "they do so because they can" Well that's a horrible argument don't you think? You can apply it to anything "Oh no he didn't kill X because he's a moron, he did so because he could". 3) Not very many multi-millionaires are that liquid.

(please do note that I'm not against spending that much on a Patek.)

  • 90% of the machining process is the same as a seiko watch. but it costs thousands of times more than a seiko.

  • @rickylain Well, not quite is it? If you at the end of the line stand holding a Seiko and a Patek Philippe in each hand, you'll see the difference. Clearly.

  • also: what the hell are they researching?! this is not rocket science, it's a watch factory!(even though there's somehow the same amount of money involved as if it was the space industry)

  • @cirocar I bet of you look deep enough into it, you'll find some crossover.

  • Only a complete moron(most rich people) can be convinced that he MUST have a watch like this

  • @cirocar if having a money is equal to being a moron, i'd give anything to be a moron. some people work their asses of for decades to be on top whilst others, having no motivation and determination in their lives, enjoy criticizing rich people on doing what they want to. Grow up and start to admire them for what they have achieved rather than hate them for being better than you.

  • @minh10091995 what they have achieved? most of them have no real friends, have stepped on the toes of others to get where they are or made millions selling brass as if it was gold to poor people. open your eyes.

the other group inherited the money and spend it as if it was made by them

  • @minh10091995 also you obviously can't tell the difference between the really hard working people who do not become millionaires and work behind the scenes from the so called managers or owners of today's company's who occupy most of the "richest people" lists. they came to their positions mostly due to connections and not a talent for something or a true hardworking habit

  • @cirocar And yes there is a big difference between millionaires and non-millionaires. I'm a business owner myself and I see many peopel who work very HARD but will never achieve greatness because of their innate differences in how they approach things. Which is fine, I just hate it when those people bitch against rich people. It's pathetic. Learn to be happy with what you have, instead of whining about how rich people are evil. Pathetic.

  • @cirocar no, people who are passionate about watches, and can appreciate them own these. Just because you dont understand it doesnt mean other people dont. And not many people are "convinced" to buy a watch like this.

  • @Jobryan205 You're kidding me, right? Not only did you go to the comment section to search for a comment that was posted 3 months ago but you also replied with such an unconvincing random statement that it baffles me that you even know this brand of watches. Seeing the videos and yourself on your Youtube account I am now convinced that you have no idea what you're talking about let alone the context in which I posted my comment. While I am sure a lot of people care about your reviews

  • @Jobryan205 and the many filigree details that you describe when reviewing the "Clutch Lambchop" you still have a long way to go to "convincing" someone that buying a Patek Philippe is about "passion". I am not sure if you know(seeing your clever way of childlike argumentation intended to deceive me into thinking that you're not a highly intelligent adult individual...oh wait) but the world does not turn around watches and Clutch Lambchops. Just something to think about before you post anything

  • @cirocar So i did a review on a downhill skateboard. So what? It's a hobby of mine, i strongly suggest YOU get one. Just because i have other hobbies doesnt mean i dont know what im talking about, and i was never trying to "decieve" anyone into thinking im an adult. All I was trying to say is that just because you dont understand something doesnt mean that theirs something wrong with it. Also, dont talk so condescendingly to me about a topic you don't understand.

  • @Jobryan205 What a great advice, Jo Bryan! There's only one problem: I already have a hobby. I harass half-witted hypocrites like you on Youtube. The thing is Jo, it's not the hobby alone that bothers me, it's the combination of your age, your ability to write unintelligible comments, your exceptional grammatical skills and your hobby. You see, there's something about all of this that doesn't fit. It's probably the fact that a half-witted kid like you could never "be passionate" about expensive

  • @cirocar It doesnt matter what age i am you condescending asshole. im done here.

  • @zumwane in the future they might have super computer watches though

  • My dad had passed a piece down to me... and after watching this, I shall pass the same watch down to my son later on.

  • i got a perfect replica of these shits for $4 in china

  • @littlesegall real gold?

  • 11 people wear rolex subraminer ;)

  • still isnt worth the money

  • Hate to say it, but my cheap $12.95 casio will keep better time than these 6-figure movements.

  • @Kg277 Ahh but time is relative so all we really just have to sit back and enjoy the beatifull movements that patek phillipe make.

  • 7:58 old fart!

  • 7:35 - 7:36

The second hand is not 100% in the center of the mark, it's more like it's biased to the right by .02mm or so. So much for quality control..

  • 4:30 look at that gear rotating and balancing on the jewel as it slips into place.

  • 4:21 - that feels good to see the part drop into place and seat itself!

  • absolutely stunning

  • I wouldn't like to work there. 'Cause you see/make World's finest watches, but yo know they cost 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times your salary.

  • paying thousands for a watches that are made in 9 minutes and four seconds seems a bit ridiculous...

  • Amazing looking watches but its still too thick and lumpy for my taste prolly why i stick to my cheap thin rotary almost 20 years and hasnt let me down once.

  • What a mind blowing video. These watches are truly the pinnacle of watch making. Btw, this music is awesome! Does anyone know who plays this?

  • Overpriced watches.

  • Now you see the justification of the price Patek Philippe prices for what they are. This is merely the beginning. Once a Patek is requiring service, it normally goes back to the factory in Switzerland. Currently, 2 years with an investment of $2,000.00 plus. Upside; Your Patek is not only repaired, but entirerly rebuilt exactly like new. Be prepared.

  • Good grief... imagine the precision of the craftsmen hundreds of years ago when they had no machine help!

  • @boomypower totally bro.thank fuck for compuers, lasers and 3d cnc type things, those watches would have taken aeons to make ....

  • the concept is almost alien technology!

  • what happen if you work there yet wears a AP or cheap casio watch?

Do they give one to you for free? LOLz

  • a Rolls Royce on your wrist!

  • this video is way better than all Hip hop and RnB videos combined...Ladies and gentlemen, this is what i call ''ART''.

  • @SuperRoss83 You my good sir are what they call a douchebag.

  • @SuperRoss83 amen to that, "ART" in the truest sense of the word

and I don't understand why people think they are too expensive, these men takes YEARS to make every single piece of the watch, therefor they aren't really making "GOOD MONEY"

  • Everything really nice and expensive is from Europe, France, Italy and Swizland, what about this country??? I mean US?? oh my bad, we have engineered the Ipad ,but we can still run out of stock because of the Japanese 's Earthquake. We just consume those shits

  • Watches are to people what chains are to slaves

  • It is nice to know that Patek Philippe made the world's most complicated and the most expensive watch ever auctioned, the "The Supercomplication".

  • Ağlamak istiyorum ağlamakkkkk ( Tr)

    I want to cry ( Eng )

  • If i was Birdman i would insta buy five 6104G's

  • hand-uploading to youtube. Required to obtain the geneva seal

  • high IQ

  • Patek Philippe or Jaeger-Lecoultre humm :)

  • A few hours ago i was playing golf with this man who owns a few bentleys and a $ 120,000 patek philippe. He was my dad's friend and when i held it in my hand i was panicking and felt the urge to throw my frederique constant carree in the bin.

  • POLISH maker! :)

  • @yahoo2305 On May 1, 1839 in Geneva, Antoni Patek together with another Polish immigrant, the gifted Warsaw watchmaker Franciszek Czapek established their manufacture producing watches. The company was financially supported also by its first workers, among others Polish watchmakers: Wawrzyniec Gostkowski, Wincenty Gostkowski, and Władysław Bandurski.

  • @4frutti The first pocket watches were produced on individual orders. Primarily the young’s firm artistic production reflected themes from Polish history and culture, such as portraits of revolutionary heroes, 10th and 12th centuries’ legends, and the cult of the Polish The Black Madonna of Częstochowa Antoni Patek

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

  • fantastic! i love the patek phillipe annual calendar! one of the few masterpieces!

  • chuck norris can do everything shown in this video with his teeth.

  • @MonkeyWrench1988 I don't think so!

  • I was the 500th person that liked this video! \o/

  • Why am I watching this? I'll never own one. LOL

  • @SonnyDelight69 man you will own one. All you have to do is believe. And if you think I make no sense, THEN you will never be rich.

  • At the middle of the video the music is atonal. It is an agression to the ears, the brain and the soul. It was disgusting.

  • @JohnHenryRoca Lol are you kidding? Did the music offend YOUR SOUL!?!

  • If everyone who watched this videi gave me a dollar, I'd have enough for a Patek Phillipe watch!!

  • time is precious!!!

my dad got one too, he lets me wear it on special occasions :)

  • @LowLowSpinners That's not the whole story bro,

we appreciate these masterpieces for their artistic design and mechanical precision,to me it's more of a state-of-the-art sculpture than just a device that displays time.

  • Makes me proud of being Patek.

  • I have a question to anyone who may know; why is the text engraved on the watch in american if its a Swiss company? Or are they american that are in switzerland? Or were those words coincidentally the same in American and Swiss? Just curious...

  • @bananaphone65

they sell watches internationally, and this ad just happened to be directed to the English speakers of the world. If the ad was meant for the swiss, it would have been in German or French or Italian. Patek Philippe is just an international company, selling to every country and to every different language (international ones, mind you).

  • @bananaphone65 There's no such thing as American, it's called English and English is (at the moment) the international language of choice. It's easier to engrave in English than change the language to suit each country.

  • My favorites watch..

    Solo para mi.

  • props to watchmakers, this is a masterpiece of handcrafting

  • Almost cryied while watching this movie. Unbelievably spectacular!
