I've landed at Langley before. I remember the instructor telling me to ignore the PAPI lights and just head in as low as possible.

ahh...thats a little extreme, the runway isnt that short, although the papis on 01 do tell you to come in a little high.
usually better to come in high than low
the papis on 19 however, are another story.
