  • Being a huge Michael fan when this album first came out, this is the only song I would play. Then after a few months when I wore it out, I discovered that every song on the album was a jam. But Michael's vocals and Louis THUMPIN THAT BASS had me stuck on this one song for a while!

  • MJ is EVERYWHERE! Love this Hot sound, so groovin'. :)

  • any 1 know wer i can get the instrumental for this?

  • this is IT,,,those thunder thumps light up the you know what

  • Aww...Mikey's *Uh-huh* at 3:01 is too cute. This is so funky..can't believe I never heard it before now. I had found the LP in my basement...but our record player is broken :(

  • Quincy and Bruce Swedien had an amazing way of blending voices together. You can clearly here MJ but the voices sound as one, not a harmony. MJ was throwing down with the brothers right here.

  • Don't care what anyone says about MJ as a songwriter, the man was tops. This is a funky jam!

  • Wow, I love the beginning, and the transition too. You know this is one of favorites! :-D *bobs head* Da, da, da, da, da... Yesterday, you set me, or is it you've walked out on me. This is the song. These youngins don't know anything about real music.

  • Yes I got this album. I knew that he sung background vocals. That was what attracted me to the song in the first place. Thanks for posting this.

  • have not ever heard this song..very good..thanks!! am aware of the group did not know mj did background vocals for them though..

  • I hated to see that Micheal left this earth i miss him and his legacy will always be remember

  • Yes, his legacy will truly be remembered, and I hate to see any artist leave too soon, especially an person like Michael Jackson with such immense talent as his. I'm glad you enjoyed.

  • This was one of the first albums I ever listened to (I was 4!). My parents used to play "Light Up The Night" and "Off The Wall" all day/everyday before "Thriller" came out....good times! Thanks for posting this classic.

  • Quincy Jones had a good ear for talent and produced both. the song GET ON THE FLOOR from OFF THE WALL was suppose to be for the Brothers Johnson

  • I was aware of that, thanks for sharing that valuable information with us about Off the Wall orignally was for the Brother Johnsons. I'm glad that Michael got it though cause he added that extra magic to it. I'm glad you enjoyed too.

  • You're welcome, thanks for watching, and I'm glad you enjoyed. I was actually introduce to this song last year, and once I heard it. I instantly fell in love with the Brother Johnsons all over again, and to top it off, Michael Jackson doing background. MJ being apart of it made me like it even more.

  • I searched for this song specifically to give a shout out to Michael Jackson's voice on this track. It has been in my music rotation for 29 years. RIP Mike.

  • Me too!! Always loved Michaels super contribution on this slab of granite like funk?

  • I love the funkadelic side of Michael, and I'm glad you enjoyed.

  • I'm glad you found what you were looking for. :-D Thanks for watching, and enjoying. You're so lucky to have known such great music with substance for long. I envy you. Thanks for watching and enjoying.

  • I love the beginning song then it transforms to a more funky song.

  • My thoughts exactly, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
