As a professional artist, every now and then I will feel proud of my work and entertain the notion that I have skills...then I'll see something by James Jean. Man that guy rocks. I'm almost (but not quite) glad that he's stopped doing my favorite comic's covers...now I only get humbled every now and then instead of every month...oh wait, my desktop background is a James Jean drawing...crap.
KEN! i didnt know you came down for comic con! i live in san diego as do most of my friends. and as a matter of fact, some of my friends are in your video at around the 6 second mark. the dude in the ghostbuster costumes. :-) just thought i would share.
1:44 Oh my god! She is such a goddess! I gotta go to these American comic conventions. And here I thought they didn't have much to offer. Very Hansome? That's an understatement. I hope you got her number ;D
Once I was in a gondola in Vermont with some Candians. One actually turned to the other and said "Good day, eh?"
Was all I could do to keep from laughing.
And somehow calling Martha handsome is far more dignified that calling her, say, a totally hot hoser babe. I like the way Ken Tanaka compliments women.
Congratulation to your friend! Thanks for sharing your trip to Comic-con. It is of interest to me to see videos about events and places that I would never experience.
I'm an aspiring western comic style artist, who also,
big shocker, wants to learn japanese. I havent laughed as much as I did in a long time.
Thank you very much! :D

I agree. I also thought that it spoke against racism. I would like to know if very many African American have that opinion.
