  • What movie is this song from it sounds very familiar! Or video game its from one of them!

  • Studies show that praying makes it worse.

  • Very nicely done. Great choice of music, nice shots.

  • I was in southern france the year that huge fire was started by an ex fireman. I've never felt so small in my life.. i was frightened but at the same time, in complete awe at this inferno, proving to be so hard for man to overcome. Its amazing in a horrible way!

On another note, what's the name of this music? It's really calming and wonderful!

  • It's Barber's Agnus Dei

  • I grew up in La Canada. One of the most poignant memories I have as a child is watching the whole mountainside burning from a vantage point above the Rose Bowl. Yes, California does burn, but that fact doesn't lessen the pain and tremendous loss of property, animals, watershed and human beings.

  • go frodo! drop that ring!

  • lol thanx man. glad u took it well, just trying to make the situation better. i live in l.a. so everytime i take the 710 north and the 2 towards glendale its like RIGHT THERE!

  • I keep thinking about Mount Doom too lol

  • PS... I grew up in Phoenix too. Hot as blazes in the summertime.

  • Stunning video. The music you selected held my heart. Thanks. I used to live in the LA area. Sad to see this. I lived through "The Oakland Hills Fire" in 1991, barely got out alive, my home was destroyed. Watching the YouTube videos that people uploaded is just like being in the middle of it all over again. The power of Nature is mesmerizing... humbling...

  • Yeah it's very strange, we got as close as we could to the fire, and it is actually calming being there, something about being so close to such overwhelming destruction humbles you, you actually feel very safe, it's strange.

  • doesn't California have huge fires every year?

    but they are beautiful.

  • Yes, the media is making it out to be a bigger deal than it is, I grew upin Phoenix and LA, and the fires are a normal part of life. Always sad hough of course.

What makes this one different is it is a forrest that hasn't burned in 60 years. And is a huge playground for Angelinos

  • What started this fire?

Cause from a distance it actually looks quite astounding :s and I don't mean that to be an offensive assertion :u

  • They don't know what started it yet, could be all sorts of things... Yeah I don't take it offensive, for all the destruction, the fire is amazingly beautiful.
